IMAGINATION WAS ONE OF THE few things Cordelia Frost treasured in the world. It was something that could never be taken away from her involuntarily, unlike everything else. Even from a young age, Cordelia was prone to imagining she was a princess in a faraway tower, or a warrior in a treacherous battle— her daydreams were her way of keeping sane in Shadow Haze.
HER IMAGINATION LUCKILY STUCK WITH through endless experiments preformed by the Shadow Haze facility. They were excruciating usually, and she never understood why she or anyone else was there— Florence Shadow and Markus Haze always reassured her that it was for the 'greater good', they were just 'seeing how far the human body could evolve'. Yet, Cordelia still questioned why it was needed.
WHENEVER SHE WAS FORCED TO endure the side effects of experimental needles, the brunette would also push her mind to her happy places, somewhere as faraway and magical as she could get it. Sometimes it was extremely difficult to do so, and it only got worse once the experiments started working.
BUT NOW, HAVING ESCAPED SHADOW Haze, the brunette was suddenly dragged into a fight against the God of Mischief. Teaming up with a bunch of want-to-be heroes and their overinflated egos wasn't what Cordelia had imagined would happen when meeting Nick Fury. However, what harm could come playing superhero for a day or two?
