Chapter Seven: Audition Take Two
In the choir room.
Rachel: why did Mr. Schue want to see us?
Finn: I don't know he said he has a surprise for us
Santana: well whatever it is it better be good
Mr. Schue comes in from the choir room.
Mr. Schue: alright we got 2 special guest, that wants to performed for us to audition for glee club
Tina: wait you found people that wants to join glee club
Puck: yeah who would be dumb enough to do that?
Mr. Schue: you guys will see see for yourself guys, (smiles) play some music fellas
Music starts playing as Mr. Schue takes his seats with the rest of the glee club members.
Rose and Sara came into the room singing and Finn, Kurt and Puck were just in complete shock not knowing they were auditioning.

Everyone in the choir room clapped/hollered for the girls and Rose and Sara high five each other.
Mr. Schue: wow that was amazing! Did you two write that?
Sara: yeah Rose is amazing at writing songs so I told her I want to use her songs together for our audition.
Mr. Schue: well... Congrats girls I think we can all agree about this one, welcome to glee club!!!
Everyone cheered for the girls and they hug each other, and everyone got up from their seats and welcome the girls.
After Glee Club Finn took Sara and Rose home, while Kurt hang out with Mercedes and Tina.
Finn: Rose, why didn't you tell me you wanted to try out for Glee?
Rose: I wasn't at first, I-
Sarah: (interrupts her) I made her because I didn't want to perform by myself. So did you like our performance?
Finn: of course I did but you know how we feel about the inappropriate clothes and make up, which we will discuss about later Rose. You know how Kurt feels about that.
Rose: I know, but I wanted to change my look a bit
Finn: you didn't need to, glee club is about expecting people for who they are. Nobody will care what you girls look like. The performance is still great but you don't need to impressed us about showing to much. Is this why you wanted to spend so much time at Sara place?
Rose: not really since I didn't have a choice, you guys wouldn't allow me to stay home by myself. I wouldn't have audition for glee club in the first place if it wasn't for Sara convincing. I just wanted to try out for cheerleading which I did, and I made the team!
Finn: see I knew you could do it kiddo, I'm proud of you. All that hard work with Quinn while we were dating finally paid off
Rose: thank you. So, am I still in trouble about the other day?
Finn: no I heard that Mrs. P really gave it to you, but you still got loads of chores to do at home young lady
Rose: (frowns) of course was it Kurt idea
Finn: he wouldn't let you off without learning a lesson. You know how he feels when his little sister curse off at somebody
Rose: (looks down) I'm sorry
Finn: I know you are, but you've been punish for it and I will let you off just this once. But, if you ever disrespect another adult when Kurt or I are not around. You will be in big trouble, understand me.
Rose gulps and nodded in her seat and Finn drove up to Sara place.
Sara: thanks for dropping me off Finn. Bye Rose good luck with everything at home
Rose: *quiet voice* bye Sara
Finn: bye Sara, are you sure your mother home?
Sara: yeah I called her and told her you were dropping me off
Finn: alright I just don't want you staying home by yourself without either your mom or brother permission. Just in case something happens.
Rose: Finn, I think Sara can look after herself
Finn gives her a glare and she kept her mouth shut immediately before apologizing.
Rose: (scared) sorry
Finn: watch your attitude, I'm in no mood with it so you better cut it out right now
Rose: (frowns) but I said I was sorry
Finn: sometimes saying sorry isn't enough Rose. That's what gets you in trouble a lot.
Sara: it's okay Finn really, Rose say these type of things all the time.
Rose: (grumpy) hey!
Sara: see ya
Sara does a solute to them before getting out quickly avoiding her best friend glare.
Finn and Rose waves bye just as Mrs. P opens the door for Sara. She wave out to us and let Sara in and wave back then Finn drove us home.
Rose's POV
When we arrive home, Finn and I hook up our jackets and back pack, and took off our shoes neatly beside the door. Kurt would have a fit with us for leaving our stuff all over the place he is such a control neat freak.
Finn: alright first thing on the list, is for you do get started on your homework, then I want you to get started on your chores, no excuses
Rose: but-
Finn: no buts Rose you're still on punishment for running away remember, that includes, no TV, or goofing off, no computer, no cellphone, that also includes an early bed time
Rose: (stomps foot and folds arm angrily) this sucks! why are you treating me like baby?
Finn: because you are always acting like one! And what have I said about your attitude?
I huff and rolled my eyes, but quickly regretted it when I saw Finn stern glare. Finn really hated it when I did that, that also what gets me in trouble the most.
Rose: okay, okay I'm sorry, I won't do it again. I'll go do what I'm told.
I quickly retrieve my backpack and went opposite of Finn to avoid a smack on my butt from him and head over to the table to start my homework.
Finn: I want it all done, and no goofing off. You got a lot of things to do this after noon
Rose: can you at least help me, I'm struggling in some classes?
Finn: (sighs) fine I'll help you. At least I know you will get your homework done with me helping you
Rose: yay!
I said cheered to myself, because usually Kurt the one helping me with my homework not Finn. Finn not really great with homework as well, but he always tries his best.
Finn sat down next to me and helped me with my homework.
End of Rose's POV

Rose was working on her history paper in the kitchen while Finn was making dinner.
Rose: ugh... this is so frustrating, I hate history, can I please skipped it and take a break
Finn: well you did work hard on your homework all day so sure. But, Kurt will help you with your history paper, when he gets back tonight before your bed time.
Rose: but that not fair! It's not due until next week. Why do I have to get it done now?
Finn: I don't care wether you think it's fair or not. You like to do things at the last minute, and I'm not going to let you do that anymore.
Rose: but-
Finn: what did I tell you about the back talk?!
Rose jumps in her spot surprised and said to him.
Rose: not to sir
Finn: good. Now I know you have a messy bedroom upstairs, so I want you to go clean it up right now!
Finn said getting frustrated with Rose attitude. Rose huff in frustration slamming her books down and putting them in her school bag, she then got up stomping out of the room angry.
Rose: this is not fair!
Finn: last warning little girl, watch your tone
Rose rolled her eyes it was good thing she was facing the other way or that would be the end for her.
She escorted out of the kitchen and upstairs to her room. She sigh when she made it to her room and see that it did looked a mess and started to clean up because she didn't feel like getting in trouble today.

Moments later, Rose heard a knock her door, she figures Kurt was home now since Kurt is the only one that knocks. Finn usually just walks into her room, which is not really a good idea because she was on her ipad mini, and was also grounded from electronics.
Rose: uh... hang on a sec!
Rose quickly hoped off the bed and hide her ipad mini under her mattress. Since she not supposed to be using it while she's grounded, she quickly grab a book from her night stand and pretended to read.
Rose: come in
Kurt comes in to Rose's room and looks around her.
Kurt: Finn told me to come up here to check to see if you clean up you're room. And I'm proud that you did that
Rose: (smiles) thanks, is dinner ready
Kurt: yep Finn made spaghetti
Rose: yummy! I love spaghetti.
Kurt: I know, now come on let's go downstairs and by the way, what were you doing in here?
Rose: (looks nervous) I was just reading a book, why?
Kurt: well the only reason I asked because 1) you don't like reading, 2) your book is upside down
Rose notice her book upside down and gulps and squirms under her rainbow leopard sheet and said nervously strutting her word trying to come up with a lie.
Rose: this is how I read? (smiles innocently)
Kurt looks at her face curiously folds his arm over his chest.
Kurt: uh huh.
Rose: well let's go downstairs
Rose gets up from her bed and tried to go passed her brother. But Kurt grabbed her by the arm and gave her a couple swats on her butt and she jiggle from one spot to the other and Kurt said.
Kurt: hand over the ipad mini that's under your mattress
Rose: (shocked) w-what? I don't know what you are talking about, ow! Ow!
Rose said as Kurt swat her dozen swats to her butt.
Kurt: don't lie to me little girl. I could read you perfectly like a book. I know when you're lying to me.
Kurt said walking over to her bed and retrieving her ipad mini from under her mattress.
Rose looks down and twirls her hair as she rubs her stinging bottom and said to her brother.
Rose: I'm sorry
Kurt has the ipad mini that's in his hand.
Kurt: You been saying I'm sorry a lot lately today haven't you.
Rose just nodded avoiding his stare but Kurt got down to her level and made her look at him.
Kurt: (takes her face and makes her look at him) You will have it back after your grounding ends next week
Rose: (frown) yes sir
Kurt: (let's go of her face and gets up) come on let's go downstairs and have dinner. Be thankful I only gave you a couple swats and not a real spanking
Rose: (gulps and nods head) yes sir
Rose received another swat from her brother and Rose flinch and headed out of her bed room with Kurt following her behind. Kurt went to put Rose ipad mini in his bedroom, and hides it somewhere Rose will never find it. Before heading downstairs with her to eat dinner that their older brother had prepared them.
Kurt, Finn and Rose were eating their dinner, when Finn decide to bring something up, He took out Rose's phone.
Finn: so Rose, I don't know if you notice that I still have your phone
Rose: uh... yeah I know (continues to eat her food)
Finn: I forgot to turn off, until I got an interesting text
Rose: (eyes widen) you went through my phone! (drinks her juice)
Finn: the phone that I helped paid for.
Rose: so that still doesn't give you rights to go through my phone like that
Finn: excuse me? But, who's the one paying for your phone bills?
Rose: (frowns, says grumpy) you are
Finn: exactly and I could always cut you off and not give you back your phone at all with that attitude you're giving. Anyways... the text said it was from Sam
Rose: (face lit up) Sam, what did he say?
Finn: he wants to know if you would like to go out this weekend?
Rose: (groan and whines) why this this weekend
Finn: so you figure it out?
Rose: Finn, Kurt, can I please go out to the date this weekend. I know my grounding ends next weekend but I really want to go, I've been good
Kurt: have you really?
Rose blush a little and Finn looked confused and Rose said.
Rose: I was only on my iPad for a little while
Kurt: it doesn't matter we told you no electronics period
Rose: (bites bottom lip) yes Kurt, but please I promise to be good let me go on the date with Sam
Kurt: sorry Rose, my answer is no
Finn: As well as me
Rose: you two are being so unreasonable
Fin: you know how Kurt and I feel about you going out with boys that we don't know
Rose: but you know Sam, he's on the football team with you
Finn: he's also the new kid, and I don't know what he's capable of and Kurt hasn't met him either yet
Rose: but-but please...
Kurt/Finn: no
Rose: ugh this not fair! You guys are ruining my life!
Rose said screaming at her brothers before stomping out of the room angry.
Finn sigh and grabs Rose plate and his as well, and Kurt said.
Kurt: Finn maybe we should let her go
Finn: (start doing the dishes) she grounded Kurt, we can't un-do that, then she'll see that we're getting soft on her, and she will take advantage of that
Kurt: (helps Finn with dishes) I know what Rose capable of, but she won't rest until she has it her way, and I know she will go behind our backs by sneaking off to go with him. That's just how she is.
Finn: I got a better idea, instead of them going out this weekend, we invite Sam over for dinner and see if he's good enough to be going out with our baby sister, and if we approve they could go out next weekend after her grounding
Kurt: but she has to be good for the rest of the week or else she not going out again for another week
Finn: I agree with that brother
Kurt and Finn finish the dishes, before heading to Rose room to confront her the idea.
Rose Inner Monologue
Ugh why does my brothers have to be so over protective. I'm not the same little girl anymore that their parents adopted. I grew up from that. Sometimes... I think they forget that their bit too hard on me and don't realize it. And they should stop being big babies and let their sister who isn't a baby anymore go out on a date with a boy that she really likes!
*Knocks on the door*
Rose: (says angry) go away I don't want to talk to either of you!
Kurt: please Rose we want to talk?
Rose: (sounds curious) about what?
Finn: if you open the door will talk about it
Rose sighs and got up from her bed and opened the door to her bedroom and put her hands on her hip.
Rose: okay talk because you are not coming in this room
Finn: you wanna bet
They both had a starring contest and Finn couldn't take it anymore and said to her.
Finn: alright that's it
Finn grabbed her and picked her up over her shoulder and dropped her on the bed and Rose landed with a thump and said.
Rose: how rude! What do you want, are you guys going to tell me, who I can't hang out with next?
Kurt: Rose you know what we meant
Rose: no I don't know. This is why I didn't tell you guys about Sam in the first place because I knew you guys would react this way. Why are you being over protective?
Finn: we don't want him to hurt you
Rose: that's bullshit Finn I can take care of myself
Kurt/Finn: hey watch your mouth!
Rose: (says with a little sarcasm) oops sorry it slipped (roll eyes)
Rose didn't realize what she said until she was being tipped over Finn lap, she went to fight him and telling her to let go but Finn just swats her butt a couple times over her jeans before lecturing
Finn: you do not talk to us that way. You will respect the both of us with out giving us any attitude
Rose: (roll eyes) whatever
Finn pulled her up after that short 2 minute of spanking over her jeans for her attitude and made her sit down back down and he said.
Finn: you know Kurt and I suggested that Sam can come this weekend for dinner and in order for us to approve of him first before you go out. But, now we're not sure if that would be a good idea considering your attitude lately
Rose: (wince in pain from when her butt made contact) I'm sorry, I didn't know
Finn: well now you do
Kurt: we only consider this because we know you want us to give him second chance and that's the only way we know you'll forgive us for what happened, so will you consider the deal
Rose: alright, as long as the two of you boys don't embarrass me
Finn/Kurt: we won't
Finn: alright little lady, you have some chores to get done before bedtime, so get started on them
Rose: (groans) do I have to?
Finn: if you want to go out next weekend then yeah you do
Rose groan and Kurt helped her up out of the bed and the three of them walked out of Rose bedroom so that Finn or Kurt can give her some list of chores to do.
