Chapter 5: Sara Meets Sam
The Next Day, with Rose at school.
Rose was in the study hall bored out of her mind. She was not sitting comfortable in her seat. She hated her brothers for making her go to school today. She told her teacher that she wasn't feeling well and skipped the class.
Rose was rubbing her bottom when she made it out into hall, she picked a bad day to wear skirt even tho she was wearing sockings and undergarments underneath. She was lucky nobody was in the hallway and started rubbing while walking.
She wasn't looking where she was going when bump into Sam on her way there and he said to her.
Sam: hey Rose nice to see you again
Rose: um... you too Sam, what brings you by here?
Sam: on my way to practice
Rose: right in the middle of classes?
Sam: we got a big game coming up this weekend, our new coach is training us hard. She wanted us to have practice right now
Rose: yeah I heard she was pretty tough
Sam: so... you never told me how you did a cheerleading tryouts?
Rose: that's because I just found out this morning. I'm in. Uh... I was on my way to go pick them up.
Sam: that's great, wait aren't you supposed to be in class.
Rose: aren't you supposed to be at practice by now
Sam: oh crap, got to go, I'm the quarter back now, so I have to be on time
Rose: yep you do, I know because my brother was quarter back
Sam: oh I'm sorry, your brother is Finn Hudson right
Rose: the one and only, and it's alright, he'll get over it
Sam: so wanna see me in action
Rose: sure...
Sam: so why are you cutting class?
Sam said as they walked outside to the field.
Rose: I sort of told my teacher I wasn't feeling well
Sam: oh... so you lied
Rose: I didn't lie...
Coach Beastie: Sam! Stop flirting with girls and come over here.
Sam: coming coach, got to run!
Rose: I'll be watching
Sam: can I have your number maybe we could talk sometimes?
Rose: sure I'll give it to you after practice. (smiles at him)
Sam: (smiles back) see ya (runs to the field)
Rose smiles from her stand as she watch Sam gets into position with the team mates.
With Sam.
Sam gets over to the field and said to them.
Sam: sorry I'm late guys, I was busy. (looks toward Rose smiling)
Rose: (waves and smiles back)
Finn: dude focus, and that's my sister! She off limits everyone here knows that
The boys nodded, they knew not to messed with the old captain of the football team little sister.
Sam: you don't think I know that, she told me
Puck: wait, isn't she supposed to be in class
Sam: she told her teacher she wasn't feeling well
Finn: (sigh frustrated) that little girl is in big trouble. I told her she's not allowed to do that anymore
Sam: wait she done this before
Puck: she sort of has a record in this school
Sam: what's that?
Finn: don't mess with the original team captain little sister
Coach blew her whistle and guys separated and got into teams. After practice, Sam went over to Rose along with Noah and Finn.
Rose: uh-oh
Finn: yeah uh oh, what do you think you're doing cutting class?
Rose: but Finn-
Finn: no buts, you are going to get your sorry little ass back to class. Then when I get home after practice, I will deal with you until then. But for now tell Sara that you're going to ride with her and her mom because Kurt staying after school with Mercedes
Rose: but I thought I was grounded
Finn: oh you still are. I don't trust you to at home by yourself
Rose: (frowns) yes sir
Finn: now go on get to your next class, and don't even think about cutting gym today either
Rose: aww... man (runs away from them)
Sam: don't you think you were a little to harsh on her
Finn: no not really, she has a record in this school and she knows if she cuts class or anything she gets suspended for it and she know Kurt and I will not allow her to get in trouble
Sam: wait you said you and Kurt. where are your parents?
Finn: (sighs) they were in a car accident when we were on winter break, so it's just the three of us now
Sam: oh I'm sorry
Finn: it's okay, but the three of us will get through it together as a family.
Sam: that's the spirit
Their coach blow their whistle and the boys got ready in their position.
At gym class.
The girls were strengthening, before playing and Rose said to Sara.
Rose: hey. Finn says I have to go to your house after school. Because he doesn't trust me to be home by myself
Sara: sure but what about Kurt?
Rose: he'll be hanging out with Mercedes for something I don't really know.
Sara: okay, I have to practice for my audition anyways, I told Mr. Schue that I wanted to audition
Rose: that's great Sarah
Sara: the thing is he wants me to audition in front of the glee clubbers
Rose: and you're afraid about what Puck will say right
Sara: yeah, so would you help me?
Rose: sure no problem. Guess what?
Sara: what?
Rose: I met the cute guy Sam again
Sara: you mean the guy that took your brothers position
Rose: he didn't take my brothers position. Coach took him off the team because he wanted Artie to join
Sara: yeah right. So where is this mystery guy Sam of yours?
Rose: over there
Rose points to the other side of the gym.
Sara: a soft more
Rose: what he's cute?
Sara: yeah sure... (roll eyes) and does your brothers know about this
Rose: they don't need to worry about me. I'm a big girl now, I could hang out with whoever the hell I want
Sara: alright then tell your brothers that to their face
Rose: (looks down) I'm afraid to tell them
Sara: why?
Rose: because they're not so easy to talk to when I talk to them about boys. Anytime I speak to them about boys they get over protective
Sara: even Kurt
Rose: yep especially Kurt
Sara: I can understand that, you're their only sister, and their just afraid that you'll...
Rose: end up pregnant
Sara: yeah... but also hurt
Rose: (sighs) I guess you're right, and beside it probably won't happened between me and Sam anyways, because he forgot to give me his number after practice
Sam: hey Rose
Rose: (shoves Sara out of the way) yes Sam
Sam: I seem to forget to give you my number
Rose: oh really I didn't notice (looks to Sara then back to Sam)
Sara: (roll eyes)
Sam: so here's my number, call me sometimes okay
Sara: (smiles) sure
Sam smiles back and walks away, once he was out of their sight the girls scream together started jumping up together while saying.
Sara: he's cute
Rose: I know!
Sara: what's up with the boys lips though?
Rose: who cares, as long as those lips gets to touch mines (smiles happily) I love gym class
The coach blew the whistle and the girls continued to play volleyball.
At Puckerman's Place.
The girls were rehearsing their dance number for their audition for glee.
Rose: (sighs) Sara I'm tired can we take a break please, we been rehearsing all day. I don't even know why I'm here anyways
Sara: Rose it's only been 5 minute, and you're only doing this to support me
Rose: well I just hope you get this audition, then this would be done with
Sara: come on, do this audition with me, I can't do this without you
Rose: Sara...
Sara: please...
Rose: (sighs) fine
Sara: yah! You know what song we should do together
Rose: what?
Sara: that song you wrote One and the Same
Rose: We are not singing my original song
Sara: that song is amazing Rose, plus the song fits us perfectly
Rose: no Sara
Sara: please, I can't do this without you (gives puppy dog eyes)
Rose: (mumbles) damn that puppy dog eyes... Fine whatever we can do it
Sara: yes!!! so now that we got our song, can we get to rehearsal please?
Rose: why are you so attach to this, it's not a big deal?
Sara: it's a very big deal for me Rose. I want people think of me not just as Puckerman's little sister, but when they look at me they would be like "who is this girl?"
Rose: glee club is for loser, no one gives a crap about them in school
Sara: then explain to me why your brothers joined?
Rose: I don't know, maybe they join because they want to find themselves
Sara: I could understand why Kurt doing it, but Finn.
Rose: Mr. Schue forced him into glee club. He didn't even want to join. And what made Puck want to join glee club?
Sara: why should I care, we barely talked since we had that fight about me wanting to join glee club.
Rose: he doesn't want you to get hurt Sara, outside of glee club people talk bad things about them, and he didn't want you apart of that mess again
Sara: Rose
Rose: I'm sorry I know how much you don't like talking about your other school
Sara: it's no problem, my therapist says it's easier to talk things out to others, instead of keeping stuff inside you.
Rose: that's what Kurt always says to me, if I have something on my mind he said to tell him or Finn about it
Sara: I can see that because you always got something to say
Rose: what is that supposed to me?
Sara: it's just that you have anger issues
Rose: who the hell do you think you're talking to?!
Sara: shh would you keep it down my mom is home and she's gonna hear you. You know how she feels about cuss words
Rose: I don't give a fuck Sara about who will hear me!!!
???: oh really?
Both girls turned around to face Mrs. Puckerman who just came home.
Sara: (waves hand nervous) hi mom
Rose: (gasp and stutters her words when she sees her) h-hi M-Mrs. P
Mrs. Puckerman: what did I say about saying those type of language in my house Rosalinda?
Rose: (looks down) to not to ma'am
Mrs. Puckerman: I already warned you about that mouth of yours a couple of times didn't I
Rose: yes ma'am
Mrs. Puckerman: Sarah go to your room please
Sarah: but mom I didn't do anything wrong
Mrs. Puckerman: I know that Sara, just go to your room please, or else you will be in trouble for back talking to me
Sara: yes ma'am
Sara leaves the living room silently and goes up to her room and Rose look down and did to Mrs. P.
Rose: Mrs. P, I am very sorry for disrespecting your house like that
Mrs. Puckerman: I know you will be. Which is why you must be punish for it
Rose: please Mrs. P, I'm sorry I won't say that language anymore
Mrs. Puckerman: Rose we already have this talk about your mouth in my house have we not
Rose: yes ma'am I know that, and I truly apologize
Mrs. Puckerman: I know you are, now why don't you call your brothers and tell them what happened here today
Rose: but Kurt will kill me
Mrs. Puckerman: I'm sure he will understand (picks up the house phone) now who should I call Finn or Kurt
Rose: Kurt is at Mercedes house, and Finn's at practice with Noah, so you need to call Kurt on his cell in case the boys are busy at practice
Mrs. Puckerman: alright then
Mrs. Puckerman called Kurt and told him what happened, she explained to him what she said and what she should do about it.
Mrs. Puckerman: thank you Kurt, and no worries you can come pick up Rose anytime, thanks for letting me know (hangs up)
Mrs. Puckerman: your brother Finn will come pick you up later because something came up with Kurt. He told me since this is my house, and that since you have been disrespectful. He said I can that do however I punish you fits, for example like how I punish Sara and you already know how I discipline in this house
Rose: please Mrs. P I'm sorry, I been through a lot, its just been hard...
Mrs. Puckerman: Rose I know, I was there for you through everything. I was the one that told the Hudson-Hummel family that they should adopt you
Rose: really?
Mrs. Puckerman: yeah I never seen a family before that love you just as much as we did. They always wanted a daughter, they got it. But now that they're not able to watch you grow up, they told me to look out three of you kids.
Rose: thanks Mrs. P
Mrs. Puckerman: I know you don't like this part of the punishment but you know better to say that type of language in my house
Rose: yes ma'am
Mrs. Puckerman: Kurt said you are already in trouble for skipping and lying to your study hall teacher, so I will go easy on you, and let one of your brothers handle it
Rose: thanks Mrs. P
Mrs. Puckerman: you're welcome honey (sits down) now over my lap young lady
Rose sighs and walk over to Mrs. Puckerman and bend over her knees.
Mrs. Puckerman: before I start, do you know what you did wrong?
Rose: yes ma'am I was told not to use bad language in your house before and I did it again
Mrs. Puckerman: exactly, you know those words are not acceptable at all and you shouldn't be saying them anywhere you feel like it
Rose: I know Kurt said the same thing
Mrs. Puckerman: and what did he tell you what would happened if you disrespect another adult when he's not around?
Rose: he would wash my mouth out with soap. Please Mrs. P don't do it
Mrs. Puckerman: young lady you do not tell me what I can't do in my house. I shall do whatever is right to look out for you
And that's when the spanking started, Rose squirm around in Mrs. Puckerman lap, as she spanked the little girl bottom.
After 3 minutes Mrs. Puckerman stopped and Rose sobs silently over her knees and Mrs. Puckerman rubbed Rose back in circular motion.
Rose: (sobs) I-I'm-s-sorry M-Mrs. P
Mrs. Puckerman: I know sweetheart, just don't let it happened again
Mrs. Puckerman put Rose off her lap and wiped the girl tears.
Mrs. Puckerman: come on it's time to go to the bathroom, get a new bar of soap, and come back down here please
Rose groan and headed to the bathroom and went to find a new bar of soap, she came back down with it trying to remove the box that had the soap in it.
Rose: Mrs. P please
Mrs. Puckerman: Rosalinda would you rather get back over my knees little lady
Rose: (shakes head) no ma'am
Mrs. Puckerman: good girl, now put that soap in your mouth for 3 minutes, and sit down on that wooden chair
Rose: 3 minutes
Mrs. Puckerman: Rosalinda Audra Hudson-Hummel
Rose: okay, okay
Rose quickly put the soap in her mouth and slowly sits down on the chair, and gags at the taste in her mouth.
Mrs. Puckerman: you keep that in your mouth until I say. I'm going to call for pizza, since I'm not going to have time to make dinner.
Rose just nodded since she had soap in her mouth, just as Finn and Puck came through the door laughing.
Puck: hey mom!
Mrs. Puckerman: in the kitchen!
Finn: hey Mrs. P
Mrs. Puckerman: hey Finn, what are you boys doing back so early?
Puck: Coach had a family emergency so she let us off early
Finn looks toward Rose, who was sitting in a chair with soap in her mouth pouting.
Finn: why does Rose have a bar of soap in her mouth? what did she do now?
Mrs. Puckerman: she mouth out in my house
Puck: again
Mrs. Puckerman: yep
Finn: I'm so sorry about this, Rose can be a handful at times
Mrs. Puckerman: oh I know, who do you think helped raised her? She should be ready in 3 minutes, unless you guys want to stay for dinner we are having pizza
Finn: that's sound great. And, it saves me from having to make dinner tonight. I think Rose getting tired of grilled cheeses.
Puck: it's the only thing he could cook mom
Mrs. Puckerman: well it's a good thing I'm here. I know you probably have to go home to deal with Rose again, but I already punish her for bad language
Finn: thank you Mrs. P, Kurt and I will talk to her later about that mouth of yours little girl
Rose just glared at him while still having the soap in her mouth.
Mrs. Puckerman: (looks at the time) alright Rose your 3 minutes are up
Rose sigh in relief a quickly took out the soap from her mouth.
Rose: can I rinse my mouth now, the soap taste nasty?
Mrs. Puckerman: after dinner Rose
Rose: (looks at her brother with pleaded eyes) Finn...
Finn: you heard what Mrs. P said
Rose: (groans) fine, I'm sorry again Mrs. P
Mrs. Puckerman: it's alright sweetheart, you could go up to Sara's room now
Finn: will talk later too
Rose: but Finn-
Rose stopped herself when she sees that was Finn was giving her a look and she grunted and throws the bar of soap in the garbage on her way out and she starts heading upstairs to Sara's room and the two of them worked together for the audition for glee.
