The other day I had class
I chose to ignore both theo and draco.
I knew exactly what happened,
pansy and blaise told me.
After the fight, they almost got expelled.
both were with a lot's of bruises.
Theo was with a bloody nose, and purple puffy eyes. Draco was with his button lip cut, a broken nose and his jaw was purple.
I was going to my transfiguration class, when mattheo stopped me
"y/n please I need to talk with you"
"I don't want to talk with you" I said heading to my class
he grabbed my wrist
"don't" I said
he immediately let go of my hand
and I leaved.
I couldn't pay attention in class, million thoughts were going trough my head.
"Miss Ribeiro"
"Miss Ribeiro!"
"Yes"
I said looking to Mcgonagall
"could you answer the question ?"
"um yes, but um..."
I was trying to make an excuse, but draco cut me off and said
"yes professor the answer to the question is yes"
he looked at me and gave a smirk, I huffed and rolled my eyes.
"Thank you mister malfoy, but next time I want to hear from miss ribeiro" she said.
I had one more day to prepare for the last task.
I didn't knew what it was, and I'm pretty sure the others didn't too.
The rest of the day was simple, I still ignored draco and theo.
I went to all of my classes,
and wasn't even thinking of the last event with the dragon,
oh shot now I was thinking about it.
After that I never thought about it, and never told anyone.
But now I was thinking,
when I did the spell 'avada kedavra' and 'crucio' two of the unforgivable curses I didn't felt any remorse,
I quite enjoyed.
But now I felt bad.
' I'm a monster ?' This thought went free in my head.
The other day was the last task,
and the most difficult.
It was 5pm
I got my wand,
washed my face,
and headed to the quidditch field.
I was the last to come. A part of the field was filled with an almost black grass without life.
Strange
The plants of hogwarts were always well cared.
The other part was filled with a labyrinth,I think the only that I ever saw in my life but definitely the biggest.
The walls were tall and made of plants.
There was a band playing a happy music with trumpets.
The weather was cloudy.
Dumbledore united all the triwizard champions to the center of the dead grass,
And started talking with us in a concerned voice
"this task will not have dragons or aquatic creatures, will have things that you could never think off"
this didn't helped me
totally the opposite, now I was really nervous.
I looked through the crowd to find comfort but I didn't saw theo, just my friends and draco.
Dumbledore said that if we wanted to get out we needed to make a red light up in the air, and someone would come and 'rescue' us.
Everyone gave a last goodbye and entered the maze.
The second I entered, the plants around me closed its way.
Now I couldn't go back.
I got my wand and muttered 'lumus', the spell to light my way, and started walking.
I was walking for 10 minutes now
I think.
I didn't knew, it was too silent
if I got lost I could go mad there, actually I think anyone.
This minutes I was just walking in a straight line, but now I came across two sides
which one to choose ?
I didn't knew.
I just felt my senses and continued with the right side.
The only sound that I could hear was my breath
but then I felt something watching me.
I turned around the fast as I could,
I took a deep breath out of relief
it was just viktor krum.
But he didn't lowered his wand.
I soon realized something was wrong
before I could say anything, harry went and shouted "petrificus totalus"
krum fell at the hard floor.
"He was wicked" he said
" it makes sense, thank you by the way"
"we should continue together" I suggested
"yeah we should" he agreed and we continued together for more 30 minutes.
I was passing through another wall when I saw a piece of blond hair being sucked trough the walls.
I realized it was fleur
"you think she will be ok?" I asked with a concerned face
"yeah but just to make sure..."
he lanced a spell with his wand, that made red lights fly trough the air.
We continued for a long time.
I felt the air stay cold,
I looked to the sides and the plants on the walls were moving.
harry realized that something was wrong too,
we looked at the same time to the back.
The plants were closing the way.
"run" harry shouted
we started running through the passages between the walls
On the way we founded cedric diggory, he was running for his life too.
The three of us were now running for our own lives.
I saw something shining
"guys I think I found the cup" I said still running
I leaded them to there.
I was trying to run the fast as I could to get to the trophy, the two boys were doing that too.
We got to the middle of the labyrinth, there was a small table covered with lime, at the top was the cup.
I couldn't let the two boys die there alone.
"On my count. one, two, three!" I shouted.
In my counting the three of us touched the trophy.
We were at a specie of graveyard now.
"wow genial, the cup was a portkey" cedric said looking at the cup.
I was very confused
'why it was a portkey ?And where we were ?'
"No I know this place"
harry said with a concerned face
almost murmuring to himself.
"Y/n cedric get to the cup now" harry said shouting.
it was too late.
Two people entered the graveyard now,
One seemed to be a fat, little person, and the other seemed to be a baby ? What they were doing here ? Who were they ?
"Who are you?" cedric asked to the two figurines
"kill the spare" the baby said
it wasn't a baby voice,
was a rough voice,
and it seemed familiar.
"avada kedavra"
was the last thing that I heard.
A green light flew from the wand of the person directly to cedric's chest.
His eyes once filled with joy and happiness, now were empty and sad,
his smile once beautiful was now with a tone of surprise.
He fell on the cold floor backwards,
and gave his last breath.
I felt my legs giving up on me, I fell on the hard floor,
I was crying
sobbing.
I couldn't imagine that one of my friends was killed in front of me, I couldn't handle that.
I couldn't.
Both figures were now starting to walk through the light of the only lamppost.
I could see now that the thing that he was caring wasn't a baby,
it was something like a fetus.
His skin was all red and I could see his veins.
Disgusting.
The second man was quite familiar,
I remember one time when my dad was reading a newspaper, and this man's photo was there.
I didn't knew who they were, but one thing I knew for sure that they weren't good people.
I was still on the floor, but now I wasn't crying anymore,
I was angry.
Angriness now filled my body,
the only thing that I wanted was to get my wand and kill them
I searched for my wand, but I couldn't find, it must have been lost on the maze.
"No!" Harry shouted
I think he was doing this for a long time, but I was soo lost in my thoughts that I just heard now.
"Shut it" the baby said.
The little man did something that harry was trapped in a statue.
"Wormtail continue"
the man now called wormtail started talking
"Bone of the father, unknowingly given. you will renew your son."
He got to the grave where harry was trapped in and got a bone
He put in a caldron that I didn't noticed that was in the middle of the place where we were.
"Flesh of the servant, willingly given, you will revive your master."
He got a knife and cut his left hand, he gave a whimper then continued.
"Blood of the enemy, forcibly taken, you will resurrect your foe."
He got the same knife and cut Harry's arm,
I tried to say something but my mouth was soo dry that I couldn't.
Harry cried
I wanted to do something to help him, but I was without my wand.
After all of this, wormtail finished the potion putting the 'baby' inside.
A bright light that made my eyes close unconsciously, came out, of the cauldron.
The figure of the baby was now a man.
But not any man.
It was a dark haired man,
with dark eyes,
his skin gave contrast with his dark features.
He was beautiful,
and seemed to be very similar to someone that I knew.
"your arm" the man said looking to wormtail's arm
The other extended his arm without the hand.
"the other" the man said
wormtail made a whimper and waited
but in the end he extended the other arm.
The dark haired man got his wand, that was white with a bird cranium at the top.
Creepy.
And made a dark tattoo of a esqueleton
with a snake embraced in it.
The same tattoo was now at the sky, it was quite pretty, I remembered one time seeing this at my parents arms too.
It was a bad thing ?
At a moment everything was silent
the other a lot of people started aparating with a black smoke.
they all were wearing a mask.
I remembered seeing a picture in my book, but I couldn't remember.
Why I didn't payed attention?
They were in a kind of a circle, and the man was in the middle.
"Welcome my friends welcome" he said
Death eaters, that's it!
Shit where I was getting myself into
when all the death eaters arrived he said
"I'm disappointed with you all, you didn't try to find me"
he started doing something with his hand that he was saying their names, and they were falling on their knees, with their masks taken out.
"Walden Mcnair" his mask was taken out and he kneeled
"crabble" the same thing happened,
"goyle",
"avery",
"and even you lucius"
he said looking at Draco's dad,
"my Lord if I heard anything even a whisper I would try to find you"
"oh there were signals, you just ignored them".
It was voldemort.
but how he was that handsome ?
"I came my lord"
wormtail said entering the circle
"you came by fear not loyalty"
Voldemort said towering him, with an angry voice.
"The only people that were loyal to me were, and are-"
he made a pause then talked
"my very own son" Mattheo toke his mask off
What the-
How he could let that happen with me?
harry and cedric.
He looked at my face with a sad expression.
"Mrs. Ribeiro and Mr. Ribeiro too, had an important task"
my mom and my dad were there too ?
And were loyal to voldemort himself ?
My life was a lie.
Harry gave a little cry, and voldemort realized that they weren't alone.
"Oh I almost forgot our guests" he said looking at harry, then at me.
he looked at cedric's body and said "what a pity, he was a beautiful boy"
my blood boiled.
"Miss Ribeiro I almost forgot you, your parents were very loyal to me" he said looking at me.
"Come join us" he added making a movement for me to enter the circle,
I didn't knew what to do,
I looked at my mom and she was making a movement for me to join.
I decided to get up, and join the circle,
I couldn't stay there and be killed like cedric, when I had the chance to survive.
I entered the circle with Mattheo not taking his eyes out of me.
"Give me you arm child" he said looking at me with a delicate voice.
I obeyed, what could I do without a wand.
He made some spell that made my arm stay hot, and hurt.
I refused to let a single scream let go out of my mouth.
I looked to my arm, there was a dark tattoo.
My eyes started watering out of pain, and angriness,
but I didn't cried.
"Strong girl" voldemort said
"now to our other guest" he added turning to face harry.
"Let me tell the truth,12 years ago, the night I was defeated"
he started walking to harry
"your little mom did a spell, the most ancient, and the only one that I didn't thought off" he said sarcastically
"love"
"but now I can touch you" he said while touching harry's scar,
harry gave a loud scream,
and started crying.
I couldn't handle that,
I went to the arm of the only person that I could think of.
Mattheo.
I went directly to his arms.
He stayed confused at first but hugged me. I could feel his heart beating, his breath was fast, and I could fell his chest muscles.
Voldemort released harry and said to fight with him.
"Crucio" I heard voldemort saying, I couldn't look.
I was still in mattheo's arms with my head in his chest.
I was crying, his suit was all wet of my tears.
I heard harry scream,
I wanted to do something but I couldn't.
They started fighting
at one time their wands interlocked, theo said for me to look, harry's wand was with a red light, and Voldemort's wand was with a green light
at a point some ghosts started coming out of Voldemort's wand.
Harry started talking with them, but he was far way, so I couldn't hear him.
They seemed to be talking something with him, when I realized cedric was there too.
The wands weren't interlocked anymore.
harry ran
"accio porkey" the cup flew directly to his hand, he aparated with cedric's body.
Voldemort shouted out of angriness,
my body shivered.
Theo saw and pulled my body closer to his. I was with my eyes dried now.
"We still have a chance" voldemort said with hope in his voice,
I didn't knew what he was talking about.
We stayed there for more 20 minutes waiting silently, when the death eaters started desaparating
"let's go?" Theo stretched his hand for me, I held his hand and we aparated.
