I was going to my dorm, when something grabbed me,
"why are you crying ?" The voice said,
"I'm not and if you don't mind now is not the right time" I said looking to the floor.
The voice that seemed to be male grabbed my hand.
His hands were cold,
and full of rings.
When the cold hand touched mine it caused shivers through my body.
He leaded me to the astronomy tower.
"Like you don't want to talk maybe we could look the stars" he said
"yeah I think that's better" I said still not making eye contact.
He grabbed my chin with one of his cold hands,
directing with his tumb making me look at him.
His touch was gentle,
completely the opposite of what I though of Voldemort's son.
It was Mattheo Riddle,
his dark brown hair was floating trough the wind,
his hazel eyes were locked with mine,
and his hand was resting in one of my cheeks.
The only light that we had was from the stars,
and the only sound that we could hear was the wind mixed with our breaths.
I stepped forward, and placed my hands on his neck
"I'm sorry I can't"
was the last thing I heard before he ran away
why all the boys run away?
I stayed there looking the stars, and crying.
Mattheo's pov (point of view) :
She placed her hands on both sides of my neck, and steeped closer,
I couldn't let that happen
she was too pure for me
is like she was an angel and I was a demon.
I couldn't infect her with my poison.
When she was leaning to do something else, I said "I'm sorry I can't", and ran away.
Is not that I didn't liked her, is the completely opposite,
she had those big y/e/c (your eye color) eyes, and that lovely smile, but I couldn't let myself love her.
'I couldn't.'
Y/N POV :
The next day I woke up on the floor of the tower
my eyes were puffy, and I bet red too,
last night I cried a lot, and still had one thing to discover,
what's the clue on the golden egg.
In the afternoon while everyone was going out I decided to stay in my dorm locked out of the outside, and concentrate on the golden egg.
I analyzed carefully the item,
it had some engravings, that seemed to be a drawing of hogwarts.
And at the top a drawing of an owl
It looked like it opened,
I twisted the upper part of the egg,
it caused to release a really loud sound. My ears hurted.
I was angry, so I decided to take a bath
I got the bloody egg with me, so I could analyze while I was in the tub,
I filled the tub with water, and when I was getting the foam in the cabinet, the egg that was equilibrated there fell directly to the water,
while I was trying to get out of the water, it seemed that was making some type of music.

The voice was beautiful,
A female voice sang the most calm song that I ever heard.
I finished my bath, and stayed with the lyrics in my head.

what that was supposed to mean?

Of course,

I ran the fastest as I could to the library, and got a blue book with a hard cover, I looked through the pages.
Giant squid,
no.
Grindylows,
no.
Aquatic horse,
no.
Merpeople,
no.
Wait that's it!
merpeople, they are known as intelligent creatures, with a beautiful voice, that attracts people to the sea, so they can drown them.
But how I could find merpeople ?
I headed to the lunch,
Mattheo was not there, I sat with pansy as usual,
"pansy you know where I can find merpeople ?" I asked
"you mean mermaids?" She laughed
"yes everyone knows that the black lake have, and they are scary, one time me and my cousin were playing when..." She continued talking, but I wasn't paying attention, I already had the information that I needed.
The days passed pretty fast, when I realized I just had two days to the second task, I needed something that could make me breath for one hour minimum in the water.
I got several books,
but I just couldn't find anything.
I asked the students,
but they seemed to be as dumb as me,
I even tryed to ask one of the professors but they said that they couldn't help.
What's is the point of teachers if they can't help.
I was in my herbology class,
paired with neville,
he was a good kid, sometimes he was a bit clumsy, and seemed to stay away from me,
just because I was in slytherin,
"um neville, so do you know something that can make a person breathe underwater?" I asked a little bit concerned with his response
he waited a bit thinking and then he responded
"I- I think I know something, gillyweed, but just works for 1 hour." He said stuttering a bit
"neville you are a genius, thank you"
I said smiling
in response he gave a little smile,
but I could see that he was more comfortable with me.
I needed to find gillyweed,
the only place that I knew it has was snape's stock.
I needed that plant in one day,
So I went to snape's classroom, once full, now was empty
"hi professor snape"
"hello miss Ribeiro, what a student like you is doing inside the castle in this hot day ?" He said looking to the parchments that he was organizing
"actually I need gillyweed, and you sir is the only one that I know that have"
I said slowly.
"And why would I give you that ?"
He was now looking at me
"I need for the tournament sir."
He waited looking at my face, maybe searching for any signal of lies
Then finally said
"of course."
with a bad face he got up from his seat, and got a little flask, with a green sludge,
that must have been the gillyweed.
"Than you sir" I thanked him and went to find my friends.
The other day was the second task.
The weather was cloudy,
grey,
and seemed that was going to rain at any moment.
The classes were dismissed as the other task.
I was way more prepared for this task than the other.
I took a shower got the little flask, and went to the black lake.
When I was a kid me and pansy used to come here and play hide and seek, I couldn't imagine how big we were, and still friends.
It was 5pm the task was about to start,
people started filling the grandstands,
and the sound of the laughter, and chatting invaded my ears.
I looked through the people,
I saw blaise, pansy, and draco.
No Mattheo.
probably somewhere else away from everyone.
The task was about to start,
me, fleur, viktor, cedric, and harry were under of the grandstand together with Dumbledore.
He explained that we needed to find the merpeople and recover what they took.
There was a giant clock at the top.
Filch released the sound,
I immediately put the gillyweed into my mouth,
the taste was horrible,
I needed to throw up.
Harry was by my side and I think he put something in his mouth too.
I jumped into the water, my body was changing, I looked at my hands and between my fingers there were gills,
my body was with some type of goop,
I was going to say something, when I realized I was underwater
I took a deep breath,
and it worked.
thanks to neville I could breath underwater for 1 hour.
I soon started swimming, through the seaweeds under me,
I knew where the mermaids stayed,
because when I was a kid one of the them pulled me down to its hut, but my mom saved me.
I started hearing the same music as the golden egg.
I followed the melody.
something grabbed me by my feet,
it was a big fish,
I got my wand and said "expelliarmus"
the fish floated away.
I swam more,
when I saw something, like a human body, but I wasn't sure.
I swam trough there and there was hermione, ron, a little girl with beaxbaton uniform, and Mattheo.
They were with some type of petrificus spell.
The moment that I saw Mattheo I swam into his direction.
He was interlocked with some kind of rope
"diffindo"
the rope cut off.
I grabbed him and swimmed to the surface.
Theo gaved a long breath and started swimming to the grandstand along with me.
"What the fuck just happened ?" He said angry talking to Dumbledore
"mister riddle we had to make a charm on you, because you weren't cooperating" Dumbledore said calmly,
theo got his wand and was ready to do something.
I grabbed his hand and made him look at me
"theo don't do this" I said looking through his eyes
without a warning
he kissed me.
I have been kissed by many others, but this time was different, the feeling of prohibition made everything look more forbidden.
his hands were holding my cheek tightly,
but at the same time smoothly,
we were all wet,
his hands were hot
but his rings made my body shiver.
He was kissing me with so much intensity, that looked like he wanted to do this for soo long.
I must have being crazy by kissing the son of the devil himself, but I liked it.
It looked like there were just the two of us, but we were filled with people looking at us.
My hands were at his neck and hair.
He let go, he looked at my eyes without bothering the silence at the grandstands,
I wasn't caring of what people were thinking, the only thing that I could think of was
Mattheo Riddle.
MATTHEO'S POV :
I couldn't control myself,
I kissed her.
It Was the best kiss of my life.
I always kissed girls, but this time was different,
she was different.
I looked trough her eyes, and all I could see was pureness,
she was pure.
The most pure creature that I ever seen.
It was just one kiss,
but I already knew that she was
the love of my life.
