I'm mentally freaking out now since Durk wanted to leave in such a rush
I have a gut feeling he is up to more than just getting ready for the Grammy's because if that was the case why couldn't I just go with him?
But we've been doing really good lately as far as communicating more and respecting each other so I don't want to overreact...or overthink
I walked up to the jet I was boarding as the driver carried my bags
"We are just waiting for five more guests Ms. Bennett and then your flight will take off"
"Oh......who are the other guests?"
He pulled out a small piece of paper and said "Hmmm....looks like I have a Mr. Dayvon Bennett, Asian Doll, Doodie Lo, Memo600 and a security guard by the name of Henry Follington?"
I didn't answer him and just had a confused look on my face because I was in fact VERY confused
"Is something wrong ma'am, are any of these passengers not supposed to be present?"
"What.......oh no that's fine, do you know where Durk is going?"
His tone changed and he said sternly "Now that is confidential matters ma'am, please continue to board the plane."
"Well.....he's my boyfriend...I have proof"
"I know exactly who you are Ms. Bennett, PLEASE board the plane. Your other guests have just arrived and will be boarding shortly."
He didn't even give me a chance to say anything further as he went to the front of the plane and slammed the door
This is starting to feel weirder and weirder by the second
"Come on grandson" I heard as Von and the other guys struggled to walk in the plane because they were so drunk
I really didn't feel like dealing with drunk wild ass grown men so I sat all the way in the back of the plane and put my AirPods in
I tried calling Durk 3 times and he didn't answer
I'm assuming this is because he's in the air right now and has no service
I mean ... there would be no other logical reason
I threw my phone into my purse and Von came and sat next to me
"Go away" I said under my breath and he laid his head in my lap
"Is that the way you talk to a King?" he asked
"My King isn't here..."
"Oh yeah he..."
"SHUT UP VON" Asian said covering his mouth
"He what?!" I asked even more confused now
"He uh ......... oh .... shit the nigga ain't here, that nigga Durkio ain't flyin out with us"
"Clearly Von"
"Bro told me to stay at yo crib witchu to make sure don't nothin happen to you why he gon"
"I don't need a babysitter...especially not if it's you"
"Too bad" Von said taking my other AirPod out and putting it in his ear
Durk's The Voice deluxe album was playing and Von started rapping the lyrics like he was in the studio
I let out the biggest sigh of annoyance and this continued most of the time we were all in the air
Doodie Lo and Memo were knocked out thankfully
Von eventually got up to sleep in the back with Asian so I'm just out here by myself basically
Von took my AirPod's so now all I'm left with is my phone and I can't find my charger
One of the flight attendants was about to walk by so I stopped him to try to find out what was going on
"Excuse me sir"
"Yes ma'am what could I get you?" he responded
"Oh ummm a water would be fine but I was wondering if you knew where Durk's flight was headed to?"
"Oh unfortunately I do not know that miss but I will be back promptly with your water...sparkling or still?"
"Doesn't matter" I said annoyed
Clearly Durk has programmed everyone to lie to me
He didn't abruptly leave like that for no reason but I know he's not dumb enough to be pulling some type of cheating scheme or something
A bunch of scenarios of what he could be doing right now were playing through my mind but I was trying not to think about them
Durk wouldn't hurt me intentionally so he must be up to good ... I hope
The attendant brought me back my water and I watched some random series on Netflix for the rest of the flight
~~~THE NEXT MORNING~~~

I woke up as the plan was landing and it was about 6:30am
I looked out the window and noticed we were not in LAX and we arrived at O'Hare in Chicago
I walked up to the pilot while everyone else was still waking up
I knocked on the cockpit door and waited for him to open it
4 minutes went by and he still didn't open it so knocked harder and kicked the door a few times
The door immediately flew open and he screamed "THE HELL?!"
"Sorry...I was just coming to let you know you completely flew to the wrong city! Not sure how that could happen, how long have you been flying?" I asked
He looked really upset now and said "I flew exactly where I was supposed to ma'am, have a good day"
With that he slammed the door back in my face and I was fuming with anger at this point
I feel like a game was being played and I know I didn't sign up to be apart of it
I walked back to where my stuff was and I saw Doodie and Memo laughing
I stopped walking and turned around and said "I'm sorry...did I miss the joke?"
Their laughing increased and so did my anger
Why are Durk and his friends so childish
I started to walk back to Asian and Von's room but heard sounds that I never wanted to hear from my brother
I quickly ran away from the door and checked my phone to see if Durk called me back and I had no new notifications
I felt like I wanted to cry but held it in as I was already being laughed at
Von and Asian came out the room and I didn't even say anything because I knew I wouldn't get any real answers
We walked off the plane and into more black Escalades
I'm kind of getting used to this whole being driven around thing
We were driven to a massive hotel in downtown Chicago that I never thought I'd be able to afford to stay at
The Ritz Carlton is truly lavish as we are being treated like royalty as soon as our car doors opened
When I jumped out we were being swarmed by paparazzi and they were asking Von a bunch of questions
I put my sunglasses on because the lights were blinding and ran into the resort
It took a while for Von to get through but I honestly think he likes the attention
It'll get super old to him one day
Our driver got us all checked in and I had my own room while Von and Asian had theirs...Doodie had his own room and Memo had his own
Strange
Von grabbed my shoulders and said "be ready by 1pm little folks we goin to the mall to pick you out a nice dress and shit"
"Dress? For what?"
"Damn just be ready...too many fuckin questions"
I ignored him and just got in the elevator to go up to my room
It was on the 18th floor and a massive suite with two master bedrooms, 5 TVs, 2 1/2 bathrooms and 2 kitchens
Durk really knows how to show out
I jumped into the bed to take a nap because I was exhausted from the amount of worrying I did on that flight
~~~~4 HOURS LATER~~~~
I woke up when I heard my phone ringing and saw it was Von
I let it go to voicemail and saw he texted me 3 times to see if I was ready
It was 12:34 and he wanted me to be ready by 1 so I barely have time
I was about to rush to the bathroom to change but thought about how Durk still hadn't returned my calls or texted me back
I went on Instagram and looked at photos he was tagged in and his fan accounts
There were pictures of him in the mall today and I saw he had been taking pictures with a bunch of fans
I have no idea what mall he's in in Georgia but it looks like he's having a great time
Now I feel super suspicious because none of this is making sense
I rushed to get ready anyway because maybe Von was taking me to the mall to meet him or something
But that's impossible if he's actually in Georgia like he said he would be
As soon as I got downstairs they were all already waiting for me in the car
"Well look the princess actually decided to show up" Von said in the most annoying voice ever
"How are you all?" I asked so I didn't come off rude
They replied and we continued to the mall in silence
We were all staring out the windows and for me I was reminiscing on all my old memories here in Illinois
Although I never made any in these areas we are fortunate enough to be in now
To break the silence I said "So Von would you ever consider moving to LA?"
"Yea I been thinking about it...it would be better for the music and shit"
"I really think you should, new opportunities you know?"
"Hell yeah"
"So......since you still live here why didn't we just go to your house since we magically didn't end up in LA"
"I don't know I guess you'll have to find out" he said shrugging his shoulders
"Alright we here" Doodie said in a super deep voice that kind of freaked me out
"Come on ugly" Von said to me as we all got out the car
As we entered the mall there was of course a bunch of paparazzi
It was hard to even try to go into a store from the amount of attention we were getting
They kept yelling questions about Durk and I's relationship, cheating accusations, jail time, shows, new music...pretty much anything you could think of
Then one of them yelled something about the status of our new child and that's when I really had to try hard to hold back my tears because the last thing I needed was me crying being all over the shade room
We rushed into Neiman Marcus after they cleared the store and I felt so relieved
Von came up to me and asked "you good?"
"Uhhh........just a bit overwhelmed"
"Yeah I know you ain't used to that shit but hopefully this will make you feel better."
He pulled out a wad of hundreds and handed it to me
"What?" I said holding the money
"Buy whatever you want ....... make dress, heels all that shit y'all be wearing. You getting yo makeup done after this and that's when you gon change into whatever you buy"
I felt a bit of excitement in anticipation of whatever Durk was planning
Asian walked around with me to pick out a dress until I spotted the perfect one
"Omg I love that one!" I yelled
"Yeah this fire, get this one" she said with little enthusiasm but whatever
I know a hater when I see one
This dress was only $3,495 so I bought it with some matching Christian Louboutin heels and a Chanel purse
My last stop was to find a diamond necklace to match
"Damn y'all almost done?" Von asked walking up to us
"Yes just a few more minutes" I responded annoyed
"We gotta meet this lady at 5 for yo makeup shit so you needa hurry up"
"I don't even know what I'm doing this for Von stop rushing me!" I yelled
I finished checking out and thankfully we were able to leave out the back of the store so I didn't have to go through the agony of being terrorized with questions again
It took about 30 minutes to meet this random makeup artist and 1 hour and a half for my makeup to be finished
Next I know it my hair is being curled and my nails are being done
They were already done but I do need a fill
I honestly am feeling the best I have about myself in awhile
I essentially feel expensive and well loved ...
I still am dying to know what's going on tonight and why Durk has been ignoring me
After I was done getting glammed I walked back outside to the car and Von was the only one waiting now
"Where did they all go?" I asked as the driver took off
The sun was starting to set now as it was almost 7pm
"Asian had to go to the studio and Doodie and Memo went back to the room"
"Why?"
Von ignored my question and started playing his song No Flaws
I looked out the windows at our surroundings and felt like I sort of remembered this area
Von turned the music down and said "alright close yo damn eyes"
"Huh?"
"I'm about to put this..........awww shit I forgot it"
"Forgot what?"
"I had a bandana.......but fuck it we gon use this damn scarf"
"No that's gonna mess up my makeup.......my lashes"
Von proceeded to wrap the scarf around my eyes anyway and it was almost covering my entire face and I could barely breathe
"I hope we are almost at wherever we're going"
"Alright we here ... gimme yo hand and don't take the damn scarf off"
I grabbed his hand and felt extremely nervous as to what I was about to walk into
I heard a loud door opening and held Von's hand even tighter
We kept walking for 5 minutes then he said "alright I'm about to take it off"
"Okay......" I said quietly
He unwrapped his jacket from around my eyes and we were at the same place Von had his first show with Durk when I first met him
There were roses everywhere like literally all I saw was red
I turned and saw a guy start playing piano and the lights dimmed
I turned the other way and couldn't believe what the balloons in front of me said
I heard someone clear their throat from behind me and I turned around and saw Durk standing there with a small burgundy box and a box of red roses in his other hand
"Surprise" he said and he was smiling so big that I saw every diamond in his mouth
