i wish life
would go back to normal
like before you left
nothing feels the same
and i have to carry on
experiencing everything
without you
i put on a happy face
so no one worries
about me
i can't talk to anyone
because they'll never understand
i can't even understand
how this feels
or why it had to happen
to me
sometimes it feels like
i'm something that curses
everyone i love
all i can say to myself
over and over
is
"this isn't fair"
"this isn't fair"
i didn't even get to say goodbye.
