“That is the biggest house I've ever seen before.” I said. The house on the left was huge with and huge it was like a mansion. I start to think that only rich boys can be part of this frat. The amount of cars was incredible there were no parking space anywhere. “Alex where are u gonna get a parking?”
“Good question...I think we are lucky.” Alex found a parking space in the other part of the street. “We have to walk a bit but is ok at least we found a parking space.” he have all of the reason at least were are not driving around until a parking appear and that is not going to happen, because who left a party soon? well I will do it if I have a car.
“This is going to be awesome my first college party.” she smiles to Alex. flirt flirt.
“Yeah I guess I can be in my bed right now.”
“Stop Charlie ok? we came here to have fun ok? and I promise you that we will have fun.”
“C’mon we have to enter.” we walk to the house I was quite I actually love parties but I feel out of place is a new hole level of kind type of parties. But I have to be happy and enjoy what this can bring me. I have to try and stop being stubborn. It is not like I had not come to parties in the past it just that these are different more bigger than the other parties that Id been.
“You want a drink?” Mary talks louder because of the music and the amount of people, dancing, screaming and talking here.
“Nope I don't drink.” he shook her head.
“Yes you do. Take this don't be like that Charlie, enjoy college please.” she said.
“I am doing it it is just that ok, forget it.” I take the cup that she gave me taking a sip. In the high school parties I always just drink one cup I'm not a drunk girl. I don't like that things.
“We are going to dance ok? Don't go to far please or I will worry about you, and that is the less thing I want.” I nod.
“Go I will be around here. Just call me if you need anything or if you want to find me.” Alex take her hand and then they get lost in the mass of people dancing great, Im alone like alone for maybe all of the rest of the party.
I look around the house it was big all white and big a kind of house that everyone wants. How much this have to cost to the students here.I don't have idea but it have to be expensive really expensive. I never or never will pay something like this, is not that I don't have money but this is out of my league.
“What is your name?” a tall blonde hair boy ask he was so close to me he smells like alcohol. That did not surprise me at all.
“I dont know you so I don't have to tell you my name.” I said a bit harsh but I want him to go. He lean over me more close.
“You want to dance?” he ask nearly in my ear I move a little far from him.
“She dont want to dance Carl back off and find another freshman to hook up with.” Harry's voice was threatening. The guy pull up his hand in defeat and then leave.
“Thanks.” I said to him.
“Its nothing just be careful this guys some of them do not understand the meaning of the word no. Mary shouldn't left you alone, that wasn't smart.”
“I don't need a babysitter I'm ok.” he raised an eyebrow. “I'm being serious I can take care of myself.” he laugh ugh I hate him.
“You probably shouldn't come.” is he talking serious? He was the one who said that I was boring if I don't come.
“Well you was the one who said that I have to do it.”
“I didn't I just said that you were boring. I don't said that you have to come.” he is right stupid Harry. “C’mon lets go outside.” he take my hand. Yep he did it I didn't expect that from him but I wasn't going to release his hand and get lost in the mass of people.
He direct us to the back part of the house to the courtyard. But this house have two one in the right with a big pool and then there is other in the left it was a calm one the people were in the pool the other courtyard was nearly empty just a couple of people were there talking. We sit in the grass.
“Thanks again I think that if I was there one more minute my head will be hurt.” he smile. This was one of the only times that I had seen him smile and that was beautiful. Now I can tell that he was holding a red cup.
“I'm not the party kind type of person either. “
“So I'm not the only boring as f*ck girl huh?”
He shook his head. “I am one of them I of course come because of the team but is not that I like them I always left before.”
“So it is not that you hate me or something? Because you are very quite and now you are talking to me” he look at me.
“No of course not, I just like to talk sometimes and I don't hate you, how can I do it if I don't know you at all.” he had a point. so he is not bad as I tough.
“Oh, why are you so quiet?” now that he is talking I have to ask.
“I won't said that to you. Its personal. The only thing that I will say it is that I only talk with the people I like.” so he likes me but not in that way just like a friend.
“I was expecting you saying that its ok it is not like we are best friends or something like that.”
“My only friend is Alex I know alot of people but my only friend is Alex I'm not as popular as him and I thankful for that.” he is a normal guy even though he are one of the best lacrosse players in the team.
“You are the team captain or something like that? Why you weren't screaming to the freshman's?”
“Yes, and because I didn't like it but I wasn't going to tell my partners to do not do it because is their life and all of us go through that it is normal.”
“You pass through that? How was it?” I ask I want to make conversation with him. I don't want to be in an awkward silence.
“Yes like I said. How was it? I hit one of the boys who do it I can't help it. If I wasn't a awesome player I will never be in that team. That's one of the reason because I don't scream at freshman because I didn't like it when they do it to me.” he said.
I laugh. “Men why I hadn't see that.” He smiled.
“Enough with the question, its my turn to do them. Where are you from Charlie?” hearing my nickname from his mouth was perfect like a warm feeling.
“I'm from New York”
“And you end up here? you are brave.” I flush.
“I think so I want a change and I'm having it.”
“I like you. I can see that you were one of those popular girls wait let me fix that you were the popular girls best friend.”
“No I was well something like that but they treat me like one of them at least.” it was half true but I did not complained because they never treat me bad in my school.
“You are lucky then people tend to be cruel sometimes.” he ran his fingersthrough his hair.He was talking like he was one of them.
We were silent for a long time. It was like he were thinking about something deep in his mind. Something that he can't shared with me. He was struggling with himself maybe a sad memory that he hate to remember. Maybe that kind type of memory that stays forever in our minds and keep pushing us to feel bad about them even if they had been years ago. This guy wasn't like I expect him to be he was very fascinating.
