"The beautiful process of becoming"

•••

Grosvenor Square, 1813

The day began like any other; the ruckus of the young Bridgerton children arguing, as their mother tended to their belongings, preparing to move to a new home across the square, allowing Anthony to find peace within his own home.

Nola sat with Daphne, reading up on the arts. A book she had borrowed from Benedict. A book of different painters from around the world. She, of course, knew of her brother-in-laws attraction towards the visual arts, and remains the only one within the Bridgerton name who has seen on of his sketches. "I really wish you did not have to leave, Daf... It gets quite lonely." Nola stated, twiddling her thumbs. She hated admitting that the lack of attention from Anthony had started to bug her, but it had. She was his wife for heaven sakes.

"I know, Nola, but I'll be only a little ways away, and you'll see me at the ball tomorrow!" Daphne explained, trying to lighten up the mood.

"The Prince is planning to propose..." Nola sighed, catching Daphne's gaze, "what do you think of that?"

Daphne's heart was stuck in her throat, appearing to look quite distraught. Nola knew exactly how it felt. "I don't-I don't know... how to feel?" Nola had lost it at Simon quite a few times within the last few weeks. She wasn't blind to his emotions, unlike everyone else. "I don't know what I feel."

Nola nodded, understandingly. "I tried to delay him, and I am proud to say it's somewhat working. I can not guarantee a heart, Daph... but what if I can guarantee a reaction?" The girls began to plan, mischievous ladies indeed.

Downstairs, Rose had drawn Violets attention to a quite spectacular occurrence. Nola had not bled. She had not bled in quite some time.

Sitting at his desk in his study, Anthony groaned. Quickly becoming agitated at the papers in front of him. So much to do, it was merely driving him insane.

"Anthony...?" He heard the light voice. The woman standing in his doorway, clad in her night wear, unfortunately not revealing anything. "Are you to come to bed?"

"I need some time," his response was short, but Nola wasn't really expecting anything but. A sigh escaped her lips, not going unnoticed by the already irritable Viscount. "What seems to be the problem now?" He yelled.

Nola's eyes went wide in shock. She thanked God that their family no longer adorned this house, or young Hyacinth would have stammered. "My lord..."

"Don't you see I am busy?" He dismissed her, returning his attention to the book pile in front of him. She knew he was stressed, and therefore, she had to tread quietly. Stalking behind him, she placed her small hands on his shoulders, slowly applying pressure until his head went back. His way of showing pleasure. She pressed her lips to his temple, trailing down to his neck. "Nola..." he groaned, not knowing if he should pull away, or pull her onto his lap.

He went with the later.

Grabbing her hips, he pulled the girl on top of him, reaching to her buttoned up robe, and ripping apart the buttons, revealing her to him. "Anthony!" She shrieked, covering her chest area from his sight, igniting a growl.

He pressed her hips roughly into his arousal, igniting a gasp from her. "Do you see?" He said, raggedly, his lips moving along her cheek. "Do you feel?" He chuckled hoarsely, an odd mocking sound. Nola felt her self sliding down into him, her skin starting to burn.

She wanted him.

"I always think about you, Nola." He couldn't hold himself back anymore. "Now." He stated.

"Now?"

"Right now." He growled, quickly undoing his trousers, and lifting his wife on his desk, covering the objects that previously pissed him off. He leaned down, roughly grasping her chest as his lips attacked her abdomen. "Touch yourself." He demanded, looking up to her.

Her face showed no other emotion than shock, "Anthony... I can not." Not taking that answer, he brought her hand down to her womanhood. Seeing her face scrunch up on pleasure, he released his manhood from the restraints of his pants. Roughly stroking himself, he lined up with her entrance, making her continue her attack on her own heat. "Anthony... take me." She begged, grabbing his face, and allowing their lips to meet once again.

He felt her sharp intake of breathe before he began his intimate assault on her frail body. The desk creaked as his pelvis pounded into hers, leaving no separation between the two. She released a strand of separated moans, "now do you see what you do to me? God, Nola.  You make me crazy." He gasped, leaving his head into her shoulder, uttering curse words.
His hand met hers, once again meeting her gaze. Ever moment was special with Nola. Every time had been special with Nola. Wrapping her legs around his waist, he pulled her up, guiding her hips roughly down onto his manhood. "You feel so good." He growled into her ear.

Her vision went blurry, feeling the vein pulsating on his shaft. Eagerly, she rolled her hips into him. Assisting with the friction. "I'm... I'm-" she breathed out, "Anthony!" She screamed, meeting her release as her husband continued to pound into her, nearly reaching his own.

With a loud groan, the thrusting stopped. His body shaking as he dug himself in her as deep as he could. A smile resting on his lips, as he attacked hers. "That was amazing, my love."

"Amazing enough to convince you to come to bed?" Nola joked, covering her breasts from Anthony's wandering eyes. "It is late, Anthony..."

"I just need five more minutes, my dear. Then I'll be up..." he promised, towering over her. Her smile was enough to make him melt, as she agreed. Leaving his workspace to head up to bed.

He didn't know how she did it, but she infiltrated his mind. He burned for her all the time. Even in sleep, he found himself reaching for her. She was his,

and he was most definitely hers.
