The students of U.A. continued on with their relentless training, since they could not operate with outside forces, they decided to spar with one another. People from the same classes, outside classes and even from the different blocks were all helping one another meet their true potentials, even the teachers were stacking their students against one another just to see which class would come out superior.

The students of 1A were definitely getting their work cut out for them, they've been training with their own block, the second year block and the third year block, all in all, coming out successful with some and failure with others. Some of their quirks have been tested with what some would consider their "natural enemies," meaning that they could not just go berserk with their quirks and had to make smart decisions to come out victorious.

Some had gasp this with full understanding and managed to maneuver their way out of harm's way and secure victory, others...not so much. If they had lost a battle, Mr. Aizawa would sit them down in the classroom and one by one, assess why they lost in the first place and how it could have been avoided, maybe even how they could have turned the fight to their favor.

This was to show them that if you are in the field and you come across a villian that your quirk doesn't really have an advantage over, you could still find away to take them down, or stall until backup arrived. Over the last month and few weeks, they had really learnt a lot from these exercises, but they felt like they could have found this out much sooner if a certain someone was there.

Midoriya could assess quirks just from observing them and quickly find their strongholds and weaknesses, he would have aced this topic if he was there, but alas, they could only wish him the best luck wherever he was and hope for his return. For the time being, they were going to have to use their own heads to get them through this, this was almost certain for Ochako.

She was definitely the most depressed out of all them that he hadn't been found, and grew more worrisome as the weeks flew by without any sign of him, just like a certain relative of his. But she continued to work strong, for him and for herself, she had developed his working mindset and always did things to the best of her ability, she liked his approach when it came to these things and naturally reflected them on herself.

It was at this point, she started to think about the time she met Toga, when she had her pinned to the ground and she said those strange things to her, the thing about wanting to become the person whom you like.

With Midoriya's long absence, the hole in her heart grew wider and wider, she began to regret not acting on her feelings when she first came to acknowledge them, her true feelings towards the boy. At first, she was confused, in denial and refusing to believe the obvious when it was right in her face, it was when he had been physically taken away from her was when she finally saw the light to these feelings.

She had missed him, she had liked him more than she let on, she loved him.

She was madly in love with her friend, that was why she liked to mirror him, that was why she was jealous when he was around more attractive women than herself, that was why she couldn't take her eyes off him when he was in action. The deep admiration that Toga was taking about was in fact, true, and now, he was gone.

It was her own fault for making his disappearance the only motivation she had to making her want to finally tell him, and it was going to be this that would be her downfall.

She only prayed to whoever was listening that he would safely return to her, and she would not make the same mistake again. The day she gets to see his face, is the day he will finally know all that has been building up inside her since the day he saved her from that 0 pointer robot.

Apart from Ochacho, the other students had a looming feeling of lost when it came to Midoriya as well. It wasn't as serious as hers, but they did feel slightly worried and sad over the fact that the class cinnamon roll/powerhouse was now gone.

They were looking at the brighter side of things, but the feeling still was there, hiding deep inside their consciousness, resurfacing from time to time before crawling back down into the depths of their minds.

Iida for the most part began to act like his usual, old, robotic and stern authoritarian self, making sure to keep the class in shape and made sure that they weren't misbehaving under any circumstances.

When he wasn't doing that and school related activities, you could probably find him in the Support Studio helping out Hatsume from time to time with projects she was planning. He still had this peers making jokes about how they were a perfect fit since he was mechanical and Hatsume was a mechanic, so it was a match made in heaven.

He was more or less confused with these claims, saying that all he did was help her test out some of her inventions or gave her ideas so that they wouldn't explode mid-testing. Todoroki just told him not to worry about a thing, he'd figure it out in time...or at least he hoped he would.

Meanwhile all of this was happening, the police department, pro heroes and hero learning institutions were all over Japan looking for this one guy and somehow weren't coming up with any leads. Police officer, Sato Hasima, and trainee, Ryu Azuki, had discovered the missing component of where Midoriya was taken after the tussle at the alleyway.

Although, they did receive a chewing from the Chief of Police, Kenji Tsuragamae, they were still thanked nonetheless and received complimentary gifts for their work. The police were then able to get full permission and a search warrant after weeks of battling with the lawyers of the structure's owners, from there, they were able to access the crime scene and lock it down.

Apart from the grisly scene of blood, they were able to piece together that the villian had been camping there for some time, the evidence being that there was a makeshift bed made from styrofoam and plastic covering, which she kept the unconscious body on since blood and two different hair follicles were found on the wrapping.

Ramen cups and bento boxes were littered on the floor and catching dust, so this was evidence as well.

After that, they had no clue as to where they could have gone, it was like they had vanished into thin air. They quickly had to call the prison to check if Kurogiri had escaped or not, turns out he didn't.

The reason they did this was because the neighbouring buildings and their occupants said that no vehicles or anything like that came by, only one person noticed when that police car pulled up, but nothing else. Even cameras that were in the area told the same story, the only thing captured on them related to Midoriya's disappearance was when they sent out those patrol cars to scan the neighbourhood after they had gotten multiple reports of two teenagers fighting in the streets.

They were not aware if the league had more people with possible teleportation quirks, but that was just one of many theories. Another was that she used the darkness from the blackout that had happened and escaped with him at the dusk of night, it occurred pretty late when nearly no one would be on the streets so it was a high possibility...but one thing wasn't adding up...

A group of pros had a stumble in with a member of her team, the blue flame wielder, Dabi. They were close to a convenience store in Tochigi when they saw someone emerge from it, a tall guy, hood over his head and a face mask covering his mouth. He made eye contact with the three of them before walking on a few seconds later, they decided to approach him to ask a few questions, since he seemed like a "street smart" guy and did just that.

What they didn't expect was him, out of no where, firing a large inferno of blue heat at them when they got too close. If it wasn't for one of their own having a super breath quirk and blowing some of the fire back, they all would have been charcoal along with the rest of the pavement.

He had affiliations with the main suspect, so they began to question him about Midoriya's location, all the while fighting for their lives. He had paused when he heard about Midoriya, but then a gut clenching grin appeared on his face. He explained to them that he had no idea where the kid was, nor Toga at that, he had not heard from her in a while and they too, were trying to find her.

Before he blasted them with the biggest wave of fire he had produced, he looked at them sinisterly before saying, "You better hope you find them before we do, that's all I'm saying," and made his exit after trying to disintegrate them since his attacks were drawing too much attention. After all of that, the entire road and a two civilian buildings were on fire and burning quickly, instead of chasing after the escaping villian, they focused more of their attention on putting out the fire and evacuating the buildings until the backup arrived.

They made their report on the strange encounter to Detective Tsukauchi, also putting in what Dabi had told them. This entire time, they thought that it was the League of Villians kidnapping another U.A student like they did with Bakugou, but it seems that this is a different case. By herself, they didn't know much about Himiko Toga, only her past violations, they knew nothing about her previous locations, connections and all that before joining the Vanguard Action Squad.

Trying to find her the first time was as hard as it got, but now they couldn't make any excuses, she has a hostage, one that, depending on his wellbeing, would make U.A, the long prestigious school for heroes, sink or swim. They definitely had to find them before Shigaraki did, only death reeks of that man...

In the Midoriya household, a mother cried a million tears of grief for her beloved son everyday, why did the world have to take him away from her, all he wanted to do was spread joy and kindness to his fellow man, couldn't he have done that without getting caught up with these dangerous people, she would ask herself.

She was on her couch, slowly flipping through their album, looking at the pictures of her son, from a baby protected in her loving arms to a handsome teenager, already giving off the characteristics of a great man about to do even greater things.

Her salty tears fell onto the pages of the recently added photos as she reminisced more and more about her baby boy, hoping that she'll be able to seeing him again, alive and well, not in a body bag or coffin. A hand reached over and gently wiped away her sorrow filled tears, his simple touch making her feel slightly better. He sat beside her and put his arm around her, pulling her onto his chest and smiling brightly for her to cheer up, "Come on, Inko, you're going to cry yourself to dehydration, drink this," he handed her a glass of cool, freshly made lemonade.

She accepted his offer and drank some to sooth her dry throat, all this crying is going to make her lose her voice...but the tears just kept flowing, she couldn't control them. She finished half with some of it running down her chin, she handed the glass back to him and used her long sleeve to clean her mouth, "Better?" she nodded, leaning more onto him as he wrapped his arms around her to sooth her undying feeling of loss as they both looked at the family album.

"I don't know anymore, I'm just afraid that one day the police is going to knock on our door and say that they've found his body," her eyes watered more, the arms tightened around her chubby figure, giving her her some reassurance without saying anything. "You shouldn't think like that, a mother must always have hope that her boy's gonna come back, right until the bitter end, don't give up on him," his deep voice whispered.

"I know...you're right...it's just that I'm so overwhelmed with emotions right now, Izuku's gone, you're here...it just makes me feel...everything...." "I'll tell you want it makes you feel, stress, and you stress yourself out a lot when you're like this," Inko looked to the side, knowing that he was right.

"I'm not saying that you can't grieve over him, but you have to do something to get your mind off it, grieving alone won't help bring him back," he brushed her hair. "When he does come back, he'd want to see his mom right away...if he's still the big momma's boy I remember him by that is," Inko smirked at this.

"Of course he is, what are you saying? A boy can't love his mother too much?" she turned and looked into his hazel eyes. He put his hands defensively and looked to the side, "Aie, you said it, not me," she punched his chest lightly while laughing at his quip. "And I see you haven't changed a bit, you're the same as always," she kissed his cheek, making him grin. "Thanks, though, I wish I could say the same about you, but clearly, you've changed the most," he rubbed her curves.

Inko's eyes widened when she heard that, "Oh my god, are you serious?!" she whipped her head at him, "You know how I feel about that!" he laughed wholehearted at her reaction, "I'm kidding, hahah, can't you take a joke?" he caressed her soft, puffy cheek. She pouted at him and looked away from his eyes, holding back the laughter she wanted to let out, wanting him to feel bad about what he did.

After his laughter died down and he paid his attention back at her, he noticed a peculiar phenomenon, "Well, would you look at that, you stopped crying," he wiped under her eyelid with his thumb. Inko herself had noticed this as well, she didn't even realize until he mentioned it, "Yeah, you're right..." she touched his hand, giving him a little smile which he returned.

"Here, let me put on a movie for you while I batch us up some grub, how does that sound?" displeasure instantly spread crossed Inko's face, "No, that's fine, I'll do i-" she was sat back down, "Do you look like your in any shape to cook? Just leave it to me," he made clear. She signed, but left it up to him, "Fine, if you want to be that assertive about..." she looked to the side with a blush, "It's got me this far, hasn't it?" he asked with a laugh, making her blush more.

He grabbed the remote and switched to a channel that had some exciting show going on, after that, he handed the remote to her, "Enjoy~" she took it and nodded at him. He left for the kitchen, leaving her and her thoughts to run wild at this new development.

She remembered her days of being alone, crying and self pity would be the only thing on her mind throughout the days. She felt absolute despair, knowing that some crazy villian was probably torturing her sweet son to death and she couldn't do a thing about it. She was falling deeper and deeper into that negative rabbit hole, she stopped cleaning, she stopped eating and she stopped leaving her apartment, all she wanted was her son to walk back through that door, his innocent smile, his red, freckled cheeks and his bright eyes.

She just wanted her family back, they were all she had...the sudden knocking on her door startled her on that day, she was just laying in bed without a care until a loud knock brought her to her senses. It had been weeks since she had gotten a visitor, the last being the police telling her that her son had been kidnapped. With this in mind, she practically rushed to the door to find out who it was, high hopes it was good news about Izuku. Another knock emitted from the outside, checking to see if anyone was home, "C-Coming, I'm coming!!!" she grabbed the knob and opened the door inwards.

With tears in her eyes, she looked brightly at the person who she thought would have been her son, when in fact, it was quite the opposite, it was him. He looked at her with great shook and embarrassment, a thousand words in his mind, but speechless on the outside. They stared at each other for quite sometime before one found the mentality to speak, "H-Hey, Inko...you're looking...as beautiful as ever..." he turned away slightly with a blush, his suitcase rattling from his nervous hand.

Inko continued to look at him as if her brain had been short fused, unable to say or do anything, "..........................Y-You..." she finally spit out the words, he turned back to her, still finding their conversation hard to maintain, but continued anyway. "Um...Hi, honey...I'm-" he was cut short when the short woman leaped up and clinged to his neck, bringing him down a little while crying uncontrollably in his neck.

He was surprised at first, but was welcomed by it, he placed his suitcase down and wrapped his arms around her to strengthen their hug, smiling at the feeling he had thought he lost, "I'm home...you don't have to worry anymore..."
