meredith was laying in her bed with her brown cow print blanket covering her legs. she had her personal mac on top of her lap, just scrolling through pinterest and adding things to her boards. there was nothing she was really interested in at the moment, bored out of her mind as she looked at different styles of clothing and different paintings.
she was actually pretty proficient in art, half of the decor on her walls being paintings and sketches that she drew. she'd had art as a side hobby of hers for years now, ever since she was a little kid. originally, she was planning to go to an art college in london, but her minecraft channel started taking off before she had the chance to.
she loved art, and everything about it. the only problem was that she had been in a little bit of a slump lately, and way too preoccupied with keeping up with her channel to create anything. she also loved writing, poetry especially. it was one of her passions, along with gaming and art. she had a poetry book tucked into her bookshelf, one she touched every so often when she felt like writing.
none of her fans knew that, really. sometimes, she would post snippets of her poetry on twitter, or take pictures of her art on instagram. she never specified that it was actually something she made herself, so no one knew that she had those types of talents. they just usually assumed it was something she found online that she wanted to share.
instead of pinterest, she decided to go onto her editing software and edit her latest video titled 'minecraft but real life??? (not clickbait) (hand reveal)' where she was just playing with a couple of minecraft toy blocks and making an overall joke about it. her upload schedule was erratic, having nothing set and just uploading whenever she felt like it.
her usual amount of views were around 13 million, which was pretty good for a girl with 16 million subs. it wasn't like she didn't care about the numbers, but she normally just felt more excited about new content and support rather than counting numbers.
