"we've known each other for past 5 years, you know that?" i grinned. we first talked when we were 12, back in 2014. and now, we both were 17 running.
"wow, really?" you looked up from your phone in surprise, "5 years have passed by, and you're still short as ever," you laughed.
"hey, i'm 5'4 now, it's like average height for women. i wouldn't call myself short!"
"yeah sure, be delusional." you sassed right back at me.
i was happy, knowing you were coming back to your usual self after breaking up with jiwon a few weeks ago. i remember she broke up with you to concentrate on her studies, and i knew you still liked her. it must have been hard, and i was proud of you for keeping up through such times.
"thank you jaeyun, i was really happy these 5 years because of you," i told him sincerely.
taken by surprise, "what? why so suddenly," you let out awkwardly, keeping your phone back inside at such change in the mood, "you're talking as if we will never meet again." you laughed.
and i just smiled your remark off.
