Aurora POV
I woke up and saw it was 3am and Durk was laying next to me knocked out
I rolled over on top of him and he still didn't wake up
I started kissing all over his face and his eyes opened
"Whatchu doin" he asked in a super deep voice
"I can't sleep.."
"Maybe if you weren't being extra right now you could"
I laughed and said "entertain me.."
He flipped me over and said "say less"
Two hours later we finished...having fun and as I laid there in his arms I knew he was still awake
Out of nowhere he said "do you love me?"
I sat up and looked at him to make sure he wasn't talking in his sleep
"Are you awake?" I asked
"Nah I'm sleep" he replied
"Yes" I said lowly
"Yes what?" he asked
"I love you"
He just smiled and didn't say it back
"Hello???" I said aggressively
"Love you too then" he smirked
"I'm in love with you Durk"
"You think so?" he responded acting like he was going back to sleep
"I KNOW SO" I whisper-yelled in his ear "you're not even tired"
"Not anymore because of your annoying ass"
"Stop..you love it" I said pulling him out of bed
"Aurora it's damn near 6am why would we be gettin up right now"
"I mean this is like our first official day as a couple right? I can cook you breakfast..you know all the cute couple shit" I responded
"Don't cuss" he said throwing on a hoodie and throwing one at me
It was black and had OTF on it in silver metallic letters
"What?" I asked confused
"You weren't cussin before you got around me were you?" he asked seriously
"I mean...no" I responded slowly
"Alright then, keep being well spoken that shit pays off"
I laughed and said "okay but you can cuss still?"
"I'm the goat baby I do what I want" he responded kissing my cheek "you ready?"
"For....."
"Let's go on a walk, I need to keep writing this one song anyway" he responded putting his shoes on
"I have wanted to walk around here, it's a really nice area"
He just chuckled and I put the rest of my clothes on and we were out the door
As we were walking he grabbed my hand and whenever he touches me I can't stop smiling
I can't believe Durk is actually my boyfriend now
When I first met him I didn't imagine him being in my life at all
Now it would kill me if he wasn't
"So what is this new song you're writing?" I asked as a few cars drove by us
"It's called Love You...I think you would really like it actually"
"I'd love to hear"
"Yeah next time we in the studio I'll play it for you...maybe get your voice on it or somethin"
"For real?" I asked
"Yes, for real" he replied mocking me "babygirl when I say somethin I mean it, I do no cappin"
"Okay then..." I smiled "I really need to get something to eat, I get hangry you know..."
"Aww hell nawl" he responded and I bursted out laughing
"Feed me?" I said giving him a sad face
"I just fed you this.."
"No real food Durk" I snapped
"Alright ummm we can walk out the gate, there's a iHOP not too far"
"You don't want to just go back and grab the car?"
"Nah, you lazy as hell huh?"
I just laughed and we continued to walk in silence out the gate as he kept writing music on his phone
As we kept walking I noticed people starting to stare
"Hey..you sure you want to go in there, there's hella people staring now"
He didn't respond he just stood there
"Durk?"
He still didn't respond and I turned towards him and saw a look on his face that I had never seen before
"What happened?" I asked frantically
He still didn't respond and just looked stuck like his mind left his body
"DURK, what happened??" I screamed freaking out
"I knew I fucked up......" he said lowly
"Huh?"
"I FUCKED UP AURORA, gimme a fuckin second"
"I'm just trying to see wh.."
"I know but I can't focus with you talking so damn much"
I stood there silently because obviously something really bad must've happened for him to be talking to me like this
I grabbed his phone and started reading through his messages
He was texting back and forth with one of his lawyers
"There's warrants out for your arrest?!" I asked completely freaking out now
"and Von..." he replied
"Wait...what? Why? When did..."
"You remember that one night at Von's listening party when you jumped out the fuckin car and our dumbasses came and saved your ass"
"Excuse me? Weren't you so called sliding over there anyway?"
"That's not the point, the point is there saying they got us on video..man that nigga Booka was right"
"I don't understand how this is all coming back out of nowhere. He's weird as hell maybe he has something to do with it???"
"Shit I don't know, it's like just when I'm starting to get to the top this shit happen" he said sitting on the curb
"I mean I'm sure you have really good lawyers they should be able to take care of this?" I said as I began to cry
"Yeah I mean I'm not too worried, it's the video shit that's throwing me off. Need to pop me a few fuckin percs now" he responded rubbing his head and looking down
I honestly felt like I was going to throw up and I don't know if it's this situation stressing me out but I've been feeling horrible all morning
"Okay well we need to get back to my condo, see if Von knows and try to figure this out" I replied
We stood up and started running back because some fans were starting to notice Durk and were screaming out things about the case so apparently it's already on social media and Von has to know about it
We finally got back through the gate and got inside
I sat down on the first couch I saw and started crying even harder
Durk came over to me and said "Do you love me Aurora?"
"Ye s sss" I stuttered
"I asked you if you fuckin love me, you better say that shit like you mean it" he said grabbing both my shoulders and forcing me to look at him
"I love you Durk" I said with tears still falling down my face
"Okay then, I told you imma be good"
He looked back down at his phone and it looked like he received even worse news
"What?" I asked fearful of what could be next
"I gotta turn myself in tomorrow" he responded and I instantly felt my heart break
"No, they'll keep you in there" I shouted
"I don't have a choice Aurora, I'll get bonded out don't worry"
"Okay, I guess I'll have to wait at the jail ready to bond you out then because I won't be able to live knowing you and Von are locked in there over me"
"It's not your fault Aurora"
"Durk it is, I should've never did that....I'm sorry"
"Don't apologize, you didn't put the guns in our hands did you?"
Right after he said that we heard an aggressive knock at the door and thought it was the police
I told Durk to stay back and I went to open it
I looked through the peep hole and saw Von standing there
I opened the door quickly and he fell into my arms
He never hugs me so this broke my heart even more
"It'll be okay.." I said but I didn't even believe this myself
Durk came over to us and Von looked up and said "the fuck we gon do bro"
"Turn ourselves in tomorrow, let the lawyers take it from there. You call the guys yet?" Durk asked
"Nah that's what I drove over here for, Aurora you know not to say shit right?" Von asked
"Ummm ye ... yeah" I stuttered because I was extremely nervous and sort of wishing I never got involved in any of this
Durk looked unconvinced so I reassured him by saying "I'm your ride or die...for both of you"
They both just looked at each other and I could tell they wanted to laugh but the situation was too tense
"Aye call Booka bro, I ain't heard from that nigga in a minute" Durk said walking towards the kitchen
Von called but it instantly went to voicemail
He called again and the same thing happened
Two minutes later Von now had a weird expression on his face
"You call?" Durk asked walking back towards us
"Yeah...." Von responded slowly which is very unlike him
"What happened?" Durk asked confused
Von showed Durk his phone and I looked at the message with him
It was a message from Booka's lawyer and it read
"My client is to have no further contact with Dayvon Bennett or Durk Banks. He claims to have been on the scene of the incident and has confirmed that it was indeed Dayvon and Durk shooting in the video footage. He also confirmed that it was Dayvon's sister Aurora Bennett as the young woman in the vehicle."
I looked up at Durk with even more fear in my eyes than I had before.
Durk paused and then I heard him mutter under his breath "this nigga a snitch"
"Nah....that's a deadman" Von replied throwing his hat off and slamming a vase into the wall
He was extremely pissed off and Durk didn't even care about him breaking his stuff in his house
"Aurora their gonna have you testify" Durk said and he looked extremely stressed out
"I got you babe" I said kissing his lips slowly "I'll hold you down and be there for you in every way possible." I reassured him
"I feel it. I'm trying to give you my heart, just know my pain attached" he said kissing me more
I pulled away and said "now I should be asking you do you really love me and trust me most importantly?"
Von calmed down some and said "LOVE? What type a time y'all niggas on now?"
"I love her bro" Durk said as he started to eat his food
"We made it official, we are together now" I smiled and Von couldn't help but smile himself
"But ummm...we have to work to do..." I said eating some of Durk's eggs and that seemed to irritate him but I didn't care
I instantly felt like I had to vomit and did so immediately in the sink
"You okay babe? Don't stress yourself out like this" Durk said rubbing my back
He has officially seen me throw up way too many times now
Then the thought hit me out of nowhere
There's been times we didn't use protection and the only form of birth control was Durk pulling out
I didn't want to stress him out anymore unnecessarily so I just said "ummm I need to go to the bank really quick"
I really was going to get some pregnancy tests from Target
"For what?" Durk asked confused
"I need ummm some money for this thing, well bill I forgot to pay...don't want to mess up my credit score" I responded making things up as I grabbed my purse
"I have 50,000 right here" he said pulling money out his pocket
"Oh no, I have to pay it with my accountant...ummm it shouldn't take long" I responded hoping that would make sense
"Alright, lawyers on the way over here so.." he replied looking stressed out again
I'm thankful he didn't keep asking questions
"Okay, let me know when they get here and I'll be right back"
Then I realized I didn't have my car here
"Oh ummm...can I drive one of your cars?" I asked
"Sure babe just pick a set of keys"
"Okay ...." I said walking towards the garage
"Love you" he shouted
"LOVE YOU TOO" I screamed back and jumped in his lamb truck
