We got out the car and walked to the door
"You ready?" My mom asked stopping me at the door
"100 percent" I said smiling
Finally getting in the door we made our way to the desk where we were automatically greeted by a beautiful black plus size woman with a brown curly weave and green eye contacts
"Hi Katrina and Melany?" she asked us
A/N: Yes Melany is Kat's mom
"Yes" Me and my mom said simultaneously
"Hi my name is Pam, I'm Mr. Johnson's assistant." she said shaking our hands
"Nice to meet you" I said with a smile
"Come with me Mr.Johnson should be out of his meeting in about 5 minutes." Pam said showing us to the elevator
We got on the elevator and Pam pressed level 15 which appeared to be the highest level. Everybody stayed silent the whole ride up, when we got out Pam showed us to the waiting room and sat down with us.
"Would you ladies like anything to drink?" Pam asked
"No thank you" We replied
" Ok. Katrina I've heard alot about you little diva!! How old are you?"
"16."
"Oh right along with those Mindless Behavior boys" Pam said giving me a wink
A tall black man came in the waiting room and greeted us, he introduced himself to my mom and I then brought me and Pam into his office for my audition. He gave me the ok, I took a deep breath then sung Don't judge me by Chris Brown Play song on side >>

I opened my eyes and saw Mr.Johnson and Pams jaws dropped either it was really bad or really good. My confidence started to plummet when the room got quiet.
"Pam can you get her Mom in here?" Mr.Johnson said breaking the silence
"Right away sir." "DAMN that girl can sing!!" I heard her mumble on her way out
My mom walked in and sat down
"If it's ok I'd like to make your daughter famous." Mr.Johnson said
"Awww my baby!!" My mom said hugging me
I sat there in shock not knowing what to say or if it was even real, Mr.Johnson handed what looked like a contract to my mom
"Please go over this contract. I would like to sign Katrina to Interscope Records."
"I don't know what to say...I..THANK YOU Mr.Johnson" I said starting to tear up
"No problem. Your talent needs to be appreciated." he replied
1 hour later my mom got finished reading the contract
"The contract looks pretty good to me Mr.Johnson!" My mom said nodding her head
"Wonderful, Katrina you ready to sign?" Mr.Johnson asked
"Oh my God Yes!!" I said signing the contract
"Congratulations, You are signed to Interscope Records!" He congratulated me
