We moved into the outpost. I stuck between the king and Carol where the group slowly rounded the corner.
Carol shoots at a man and he drops behind a car as everyone fires at him.
The king holds his hand up and we stop for a second as the man throws a grenade.
"Drop!" I shout and pull Carol behind me.
"Protect the king!" Wakes me up as the ringing doesn't stop.
"Protect yourselves!" The king shouts back as I slowly rise to my feet. Grabbing my knife i take out an incoming walker.
I turn and do the same with the next one as the dust slowly vanishes.
"Anyone see where he went?" Carol asks as I try to find my core balance.
"If he tells everyone we're here it's over before it started" she says as I walk over.
"It is not and we won't. For we together will find him and end him. We will finish what we begun. Trust the king" he says as smack the side of my head trying to get rid of the ring.
"Outpost is north though the woods"
"As it is surely his course, it is ours" the king says.
"Return to the staging area and await the other when they land and if they haven't release shiva form her cage. Well leave a trail for you and she will know enemies. Remain in these environments and stay not 10 minutes behind. Go!" He commands
"Onto foe and compound then to certain victory!" He shouts.
"Did you catch a word of that?" I ask Carol.
She nods and I stare bewildered.
"Was he speaking fast or was my brain slow?" I ask as we follow him.
"I think it was a mixture of both" she jokes.
"Haha. That's a fake laugh" I say rubbing my head.
"What befell this creature?" The king asks the weird walker that just met Jerry's axe.
Jerry gives him a look as I shake my head.
"I meant before" he says and I smile.
"Compounds not far off if he made it they will be ready" Carol informs us.
"Two possibilities, just one fact" the king chants.
"And what's that?" Carol asks.
"We shall be ready regardless" he says making Carol mad.
"What's about to happen isnt just some walkers alright?" She says.
"Yes and yet I smile" he says as I walk past the two.
"Hey is This blood of the wasted?" A man asks.
"Wasted?" I repeat.
"Walkers then" he says and I shake my head.
"No this is from a living being. Not that long ago either" I say as the king and Carol joins us.
"We hit him" Carol says smiling.
"He's moving slow" I confirm.
We watched him run or a bridge and the long signals us to stop.
"stop. Our friends are here" he says as shiva takes him down.
"And their it is. Our certain victory. I'm not glad for his death, not for anyone's" he says.
"I know" Carol says as Jerry picks up the radio.
"We're on the move. Taking active measures, just hold down"
"We will not retreat" the king determines.
"They know we're coming" a man argues.
"Yes they do" he says lifting his sword up and smiles.
He swipes up the radio and starts talking:
"Their coming. Coming for us right now. A powerful force, a bloodthirsty rouge and unrelenting cut throats. That want nothing more then out destruction and yet I smile and yet carols smiling" he says as Carol cuts in.
"They probably have the numbers but we have strategy" she says and I nod.
"Yes we do! Yes we do!" He repeats.
"We split in two teams. One goes around and one straight. We can catch them off guard easily" I explain and he nods.
"We have our plan!" The king shouts as we split and move out.
We walk to a clearing before whistling erupts in the small area were in. We put our hands up and wait for a second before our other team mows them down. We lift up our weapons and finish off some others.
"We move onward!" He shouts with joy.
We snook up behind a car knowing that they are all in a crowd infront of us.
We look to the king for a signal before open firing on the people.
They all fall down dead when a person starts counting everyone.
"Everyone's accounted for" he announces.
"Ezekiel?" Carol asks.
"Not one!" The king replies with joy as he smiles at Carol.
Ohhh I see it now
" we need to clear the compound" she states.
"Your counsel your plan" he says.
"We're gonna go take a look" she says as we walk over.
We make it in as rapid bullet fire enters my ears.
"Their being gunned down" I whisper to Carol.
"Check that hall and I'll take this way" I say and she nods.
Soon enough the sound of voice fill my ears and I hide behind a box.
"I swear to god if you haven't loaded that gun by the time I get their I'm gonna pulverise you!" A man shouts down the hall.
"We're done!" Another shouts as they carry two boxes past me.
I take the safety off my gun as they speak and mow them down.
I hear more voices behind me as more men come out the back room and fire at me.
I dodge the bullets and run down the corridor.
"Stop! We need to move the gun!" A man shouts as I hide around a corner.
I run into another room and find another Arsenal.
I slam the door shut and swing my sniper off my back and taking aim at the cars as they drag out the weapons.
Suddenly bullets came from behind a box and I could see the edge of carols hair.
I sneakily take out half the group without them noticing before the firing stops and I can't risk being spotted.
I stop and wait for carols plan as she comes out with her hands up. Someone walks over and she takes them hostage before slicing their neck and pressing a button.
I take out the gun man closest to Carol as the last three turn to me and begin firing.
I duck down as the glass shatters. I hold down as the firing stops and glance out the window.
Carols holding them down and I smile.
I put the sniper down and grab a AK before walking out the door.
The second I do a gun collided with my head and the man starts strangling me.
I push's his arms away with all my strength as car wheels fill my ears.
"Sounds like your frie-ends left you" I choke out though his grasp.
He snorts pulling down harder as the world begins to spin.
I push my arms into his face as a bullet rumbles the building.
I collapse to the floor catching my breath as Carol comes over and helps me stand.
"We need to move" Carol states as we start our way out.
"Theirs a back gate" I whisper and she nods.
"Your gonna have to leave me behind. I'm slowing you down" Ezekiel states as he falls to the floor.
"You don't get to make that decision" I state helping him up again.
"You two keep the path clear" I whisper and they nod.
"We need to go. I'm almost out of ammo"Carol states as we walk over the train tracks.
We walk over to a stream and as I give it a second glances I notice the buckets of chemicals in it.
"I can't. You three have to go" he says jumping to the side and leaning against a tree.
"Help me" Carol tells Jerry as they lose him in the sludge.
I jump down and begin slicing the ones near by.
I climb out the sludge and give Carol a hand as she turns to Ezekiel. I use my pistol to take out the ones closing in.
"Go! I'll hold them off!" Ezekiel shouts.
"I can't leave you here your majesty" Jerry states.
"Why not?" He asks.
"Because you my king!" Jerry shouts.
"No im not! I'm not your king! I'm not your majesty! Look at what's infront of us. That's what's real!" He shouts pointing.
"I ain't no king. I'm just some guy" he cries as shiva jumps into the swamp.
"Come on!" Jerry shouts picking him up and dragging him out.
"Shiva get out of their!" Ezekiel screams as the walkers surround the tiger.
I fire at the walkers and use up my last two bullets before giving up.
"No!" Ezekiel repeats as the tiger gives of a last growl before being consumed.
We stand in silence for a few minutes before Carol helps Ezekiel stand and we move.
"Here" I whisper signalling Ezekiel to sit as I undo my bandages and take my top off leaving me in a vest.
I use my top to stop the bleeding and bandage it for the time being.
"I'm gonna go back to Alexandria . Make sure you get home safe" I whisper and they nod as I walk in the direction I left my bike.
Half way down a clear road a smoke catches my eye. I pull up next to it and recognise the car as the one that escaped us.
I look at the ground opposite as Daryl and rick sit to watch the car explode.
I walk down the slope and give them both a hand up.
"The man said that kingdom fell. Is that true?" Rick asks me.
"Their all dead. Jerry, Ezekiel and Carol are alive though" I whisper as Daryl pushes my chin up.
"I nearly became one of the deceased while I was sniping. Carol saved me" I whisper pulling his hand down.
"Told ya she should have came with us" Daryl tells rick.
"If I did, Carol would be dead and so would Ezekiel" I whisper and rick nods.
I walk up the bank as the boys follow me. I sit on my bike while Daryl fetches his bike and rick fails to start the car.
He climbs out as Daryl pulls up.
"We have a plan, we've got to see it though" rick explained making me confused.
"We've gotta win" Daryl says simply.
"Yeah we gotta. Choke holds are illegal asshole" rick says and I giggle.
"Mhm yes it is" Daryl agrees.
"Looks like I'm walking" rick says.
"Yep" Daryl agrees.
"I'll meet you when I'm done with the last play"
"You sure about doing it?" Daryl asks.
"Yeah I am"rick says.
"Would you like a lift?" I whisper and he shakes his head.
"You two should head back" he says and we nod starting our engines.
We start up the road but half way home I speed up causing Daryl to take it as a challenge.
Seconds later we're going at top speed head to head.
We got home fairly quickly due to the race and Daryl went off to talk to Terra as I walked home.
I get back and the second I hit the couch a knock rings though the house.
"Coming!" I whisper yell getting up and opening the door.
"Heya. Thea right? You clear the wall? We were wondering if you could help us. We found a dent from the outside and were not really fighters" he claims and I nod.
"Sure" I say checking my two knives and leaving.
"Daryl! We're going to check the wall" I say and he glares at the men.
"Why with them?" He asks.
"They have concerns and I need them to point me to where it is" I say and he nods.
"Any funny business and I'll hunt you down" Daryl tells them before turning his back and leaving with michonne.
"He doesn't mean harm. He's just protective" I excuse as we start our way round.
They start having a conversation infront of me which strikes me as odd.
"Where's this area you were talking about?" I ask.
"Just up ahead" one answers.
If theirs trouble wouldn't they be behind me?
"Listen whatever bullshit you've been told about the sanctuary is fake. Their monsters" I conclude as one swings me into a tree.
"Their not monsters" he growls.
"I knew it. I don't know a lot of people in Alexandria but I know how they would react with a walker situation. Tell me how long have you been studying us?" I ask and he shrugs.
"3 days. But negan grows tired. If we get you we get the archer and rick on a leash" he says and I smile.
"Who says your getting me?" I ask punching him before kicking the other.
They both stand infront of me angry as I kick out ones legs and punch the other.
The first one gets up too fast and sends a blow to my side as the other flips a knife out.
I growl as he stabs me though the shoulder.
I stay still and drop to the ground faking my fainting as they turn around.
I pull the blade out and finish the first one before knocking out the second with the back of the blade.
"Little bitch" I mumble grabbing the seconds foot and dragging him back to the gate.
