The students in the photography class had began to file in, Renjun was seated in his usual place with his elbow on the table and chin resting in his palm as his dark eyes uninterestedly raked over the people.
A figure emerged from the door, her hair tumbling down past her shoulders to the middle of her ribcage, she wasn't smiling like she always did- instead her eyes were cast to the ground and shoulders sullen down.
Renjun watched wordlessly, his gaze following her as she reached her seat next to him- causing him to turn his head to the other side to glance at her.
Jisoo looked so deep in thought that Renjun wondered what should could have been possibly thinking about.
A hue of red lined her lashes, faintly yet you could tell she had been crying and the demon thought back to when he saw her crying to the Angels in the hallway.
Her usual greeting went amiss, no words spoken as she lethargically, and distant in her own mind, sat down.

Renjun muttered something under his breath as he put his phone away and looked over to see Jisoo with her head in her arms.
"Tired?"
"No." She answered softly, muffled.
She sighed, turning her head to rest her cheek on her arm as she looked at the boy.
"How are you?"
The lights above her casted a golden hue on her, carrying through her hair and brightening her features.
"I'm good..." He trailed off, unsure of what to say next. "Where are we going next to take pictures?"
Jisoo sat up in her seat, humming as she rubbed her eyes.
"Park?"
"Sure." He murmured, feeling a headache come on so he reached over to grab something from his bag.
Jisoo was taking a sip from her cold water when she looked at the boy who was now wearing glasses that were situated on the bridge of his nose.
Her eyes widened, choking on her water as she put the bottle down and a hand reached out to hit her back in order to relieve her choking
Though he was just trying to help, Jisoo flinched and a whimper of pain escaped her lips- her hand grasping onto his wrist as she looked at him with her rounded brown eyes swimming with pain and she shook her head.
He was confused momentarily before she spoke.
"Not there."
"Oh," it dawned on him and his eyes drew over to her clothes back. "Oh shit, sorry."
"It's fine." She waved it off, shifting in her seat and forcing a smile. Turning in her seat, she began to write down a few notes but all she could think of was the sight of her back she had caught a glimpse of this morning.
Etched largely in her skin, the sight gruesome and unattractive to the eye- she tightened her grip around her pen.
Her heart was pounding, uneasy and Renjun could hear it way too loudly.
He turned his head, tilting it slightly as her hair concealed partial amounts of her face.
"Does it really hurt a lot?" He asked lowly, watching as she blinked away the tears and she shook her head, sucking in a breath of air.
"It's fine."
"I thought you said you couldn't lie." Renjun said, making her halt and glance up at him.
"I'm not lying...it doesn't hurt."
He raised a brow, his hair falling over his forehead as he stared at her through his glasses.
"I know Angels are meant to be selfless but you do know you don't need to do that anymore?"
"Do what?'
"Pretend everything is fine and be there for everyone else."
Jisoo swallowed down the harsh lump in her throat and she shrugged.
"I like being there for people."
"What about you?" He furrowed his brows, not being able to fully understand her.
"No one is really there for me."
