the tear falls
down her cheek
caressing her soft skin
leaving a path made by itself behind
until it reaches the end of her face
and drops to the ground
where it dries
and is left forgotten
sometimes she wonders
does people do that too
do they brush past a persons life
and get forgotten when they fall
she wonders
is that what happened to her
