"Master Albedo!" called a soft and panicked voice.
the bitter cold was only getting worse and the girl struggled to see as the snow melted on her glasses.
she kneeled in the snow cradling a figure, another girl who was out cold, she was barely recognizable from being in the snow storm for too long.
the snow turned her lashes white and her hair was wet and icy, "Albedo!" the girl repeated louder and successfully got her master's attention.
the panic and worry in the green haired girls voice caused alert in the blond mans nervous system, his sea green gaze fixated on the unfamiliar girl in his apprentices lap.
"the storms only going to get worse! please, lets carry her back!"
Sucrose, a lovely, shy but caring girl who is mixed blood of a nymph and a human{idk if that's actually canon}.
Sucrose was a mage, Albedo was a swordsman. he had more muscle strength then her and since it was a short period of time before the storm would worsen he carefully picked up the girl, who was colder then the mountains peak.
"Sucrose, prepare a place for her to rest, if she doesn't freeze to death by the time I'm back then we'll contact Barbara to check her health"
she held her hand to her chest and nodded before running through the snow, the dark clouds swirling in the sky and more snow falling onto the frozen earth.
"you still being alive is worth looking into"
_______
the warmth of a nearby fire awoke you from your comfortable slumber, the cot you slept on was warm and comfy like any good bed.
slowly your eyes opened, allowing you to observe the area or rather the cave you've been brought to. a few small fires were lit along the caves entrance then another fire was lit closer to you.
a cooking pot hung on a branch above the fire, clearly meant for cooking meals. near the cot you slept on was an easel for painting or sketching, beside that was a table cluttered with a few books and glass flasks.
then there was a bookshelf, the books looked well cared for and seemed rather thick. the place was empty other then you but it looked like someone left recently from the footprints left behind.
you stood up and rubbed your head gently, the warm shield against the cold brought a homey feeling to you, reminding you of wherever you originally came from. Curious like a small cat, you gently brushed your hands over a few books before picking one up, just as you began to read a timid voice called to you.
"o-oh your awake!" the voice called, then footsteps grew closer. upon turning around you saw a girl with mint green hair and large round glasses, "oh..um, hello..?" you closed the book and set it down carefully. "your must be a little confused..my names Sucrose, i found you unconscious after accidentally..stepping on your hand.."
you glanced at your hands and scanned the one with a bandage over it, "y-you were buried in the snow! I didn't know you were there..im sorry!" she bowed. "its..fine" you spoke softly, This girl, Sucrose, in your eyes she was kind but shy. the way her hands slightly trembled when she spoke and how her lips quivered every now and then only proved such a theory.
"do you remember your name..?" she asked politely, "ah..n-no.." whenever your tried to think of your name it always lead back to the open sky, perhaps there was some kind of correlation? "that's a shame, I'm sure its beautiful!"
toying with the bandages on your hand, you glanced down at your given clothing "when i found you all you had on was a white dress..so when my Master brought you here i changed your clothes. after he left on business of course.."
Sucrose smiled, "you changed my clothes?" she nodded then after staring for a moment she waved her hands frantically "oh gosh! I didn't see anything! i used magic! so please don't assume anything!"
well, the clothing was comfortable and suited your needs so you had nothing against it, besides, Sucrose seemed nice and pure so she mustn't have any ill intention. "Don't fret..you mentioned someone..your Master?" Sucrose nodded, "he's the one that carried you here"
"where is he now?" you tampered with one of the empty flasks on the table "he went to Mondstadt to get Barbara, she'll be checking you condition and if you'll need healed" she stood quietly after answering your question.
"if you..don't mind me asking.." she began, "I found something, when I first found you.." she carefully pulled something out from her pocket. "when I first found it, it looked like any other feather but over time it turned to glass"
she placed the fragile feather in your hand, to which it proceeded to glow. both of you were left curious as to why it was reacting in such a way but had no way to investigate it, "maybe you should keep it with you for now? whatever it is, it reacts to you" you nodded curtly.
"good, she's already up"
a soothingly gentle voice spoke up, gaining your attention incredibly quick. besides him was a girl with pigtails who was bundled up in warm clothes, Blonde with blue eyes and quivering lips.
"ah Master Albedo, welcome back, and good afternoon Barbara" the healer slowly stepped forward and took your hand, "how long did you estimate her time unconscious in the storm?" she stared into your eyes with a smile.
"30 minutes buried in snow, in a storm, in a dress" Albedo responded shortly, "the archons must favor you, you are blessed to be alive" her pale hand held your cheek and smiled brightly. "Albedo tells me that he's curious on how you lived" she said quietly with a giggle.
"Barbara" he spoke coldly, sending a shiver down the poor nuns spine "nothing! she'll be fine, just needs proper rest" Sucrose giggled, "thank you Barbara, Master Albedo has some work to do here so I'll be taking you back to Mondstadt"
the short blonde girl nodded, i hope to see you visit Mondstadt sometime! come see me at the cathedral!" Barbara waved goodbye as did Sucrose, leaving you alone with this almost completely unknown man.
he silently stared at you, examining your entire being. the hair that neatly sculpted your face was a shiny H/c, your porcelain face held a deer in the headlights type of expression. "Are your eyes glued in place?" you snapped, which felt uncharacteristic.
Albedo blinked, confused for a moment before he realized what he was doing, "I apologize, I'm Albedo, do you remember your name?" he asked, stone faced and calm. "no I do not.." his eyes lowered as he began to deepen in thought.
"we'll call you Y/n, for now until you remember your real name" he smiled faintly as you practically ignored him as you stuck you nose into a book, he thought it best to leave you be as no one wanted to be disturbed when reading.
in the book she read,
'every demon was once an angel, some fell from grace while others welcomed it. a special few were struck down, for they foresaw to much'
And just to clear up what the white dress looked like:
