Vanessa enters the after party with Alton and Meghan Roche. The three arrive late as they first had dinner at a restaurant a block away from the party venue. At dinner they decided to celebrate and start drinking, showing up to the party a bit tipsy. Vanessa looks around for one face that she desperately wanted to find. Not being able to find the face she goes straight to the bar.
"Hi, um 2 tequila please" she asks the bartender, he places the shot glasses down and she takes the two shots straight without pulling a face, she suddenly hears a voice and feels a presence next to her
"You okay Ness?" Timothée asks Vanessa "Rum and coke please" Timothée orders his drink and proceeds to turn towards a now intoxicated Vanessa
"Rum and coke really?"
"I am simple guy"
"Nah nope not tonight" Vanessa calls the bartender over "four shots of your finest tequila please" The bartender gives the 2 their shots and Timothée's drink, they both take the shots and then stare at each other grinning and the alcohol takes over
"Timothée, dance with me" Vanessa asks but doesn't wait for a reply grabbing Timothée's arm and forcing him onto the dance floor almost spilling their drink
Vanessa disappears from Timothée's view for a brief moment coming back to him with a grin on his face. A few minutes pass and the DJ suddenly makes an announcement.
"This next song goes out to the one and only Lil Timmy Tim" everyone starts screaming as Timmy looks at Vanessa and laughs as the song Roman's Revenge starts playing Timothée starts rapping along with the song letting the crowd go crazy.
As some time passes Timothée and Vanessa are still dancing together on the dance floor losing all the people they came with. Suddenly Timothée whispers in Vanessa's ear
"Do you wanna get out of here?"
"Yeah but let me them my friends so they don't get worried"
"Okay I'll get our coats, meet me by the entrance"
Vanessa runs around the venue looking for Alton eventually finding him with Meghan.
"V where have you been?"
"With Timmy, which is what I wanted to tell you um I'm gonna go now"
"Who is Timmy? You don't mean Timothée Chalamet?"Alton was surprised and confused
"Precisely Alton precisely but I'm gonna go and I'll call you in the morning"
"Okay bye, go catch a d"
Vanessa still very much drunk runs away from Alton and Meghan and finds Timothée waiting for her by the entrance
"So where to Mr Chalamet?"
"Where do you wanna go?"
"Where are you staying?"
"My sister's apartment but she's in New York right now"
"Perfect, let's go"
Vanessa grabs Timothée's hand and runs through the lobby of the venue to find a cab outside. Timothée gives the driver the address and they are off.
