14: Who are you really?

Sophie

After the initiation is done I start planning their party. The old members of my squad have the job of keeping the kids and five elves busy, while Ruy and I plan the party.

When we get down the tree house stairs, I see everyone gathering around it. I smirk going down first telling them to trust me.

"Introducing the earliest people to ever join, my newest recruits, and favorite family members, no offense to anyone else," I say laughing, causing them to join me. "The beautiful Bex Dizznee, the talented Rex Dizznee, and lastly, the prankster Lex Dizznee."

I used my teleportation as a conjuror and had them change into fancy clothes. They all look stunning.

"Please welcome my wonderful prodigies!" I shout with so much pride, smiling warmly.

Ruy then goes on about their successes and how proud we are.

When that part is done we tell them to enjoy it, that they deserved it.

Linh is the only one who knows about me and Ruy. The only reason she knows it is because we thought no one was around and he kissed me, how wrong we were.

So we go up to her and say watch our backs, she smirks. Ruy and I smile, exasperated.

Ruy and I just sat there under the stars laughing, little did we know that Linh followed us with a camera.

"Yes I got it," she shouts while still recording us live. I started panicking, I took out my contacts.

"Linh, the camera! Contacts! Out! Off! NOWWWWW!!" We all start panicking, "why Linh, why today? Didn't you hear... you know it's not worth it anymore."

I put my contacts in and we all head back, it's very chaotic when we return.

"Ummm...sorry to crash the party but I'm not feeling so good, if you'll excuse me."

As I make my way up the stairs, I get cut off by the stupid waywards. Ugh, just my luck.

"Excuse me I need to get through." I say but they don't move, I'm already preparing myself. If they call me Sophie I won't flinch, I'll use my background story. They have to believe me.

"Are you Sophie Foster?" To my credit, thank gods I don't flinch.

"No, I am Melody Victoria Heks. The Heks found me years ago as a little girl, I still can't remember my past life. All I know is that when they found me I was half dead from fading. The fading took the dark violet color out of my eyes and made it gold, see," I say pointing to my eyes.

"All I could remember was the book that my parents got me, because I practically memorized every line. And that I loved singing, that's why my name is Melody. The only reason I know my eyes were violet was because I had this picture of me and my eyes were that color." I'm officially done with today!

"Also I was there when Sophie Foster died, she's gone and I'm not her!

"On your way out can you send the triplets in, that's an order. You're dismissed!" I say cruelly.

Biana

That sounded reasonable enough, right.

Dex doesn't think so, he wants to spy on the inner circle, mostly her though.

If that's Sophie she's bound to be pissed, she doesn't know we're us. We also know she'd gone through was more torture than Dex, so despite her speech, she could have not forgiven us.

I really hope it's Sophie, even though she'll hate us, I want to apologize.

It would also make sense why I saw burn marks along her collarbone.

Also there is some crucial info we need to spill: Alvar, Fintan, and Lady Gisela are definite members of the Neverseen.

When we get to the triplets, they don't even look surprised that she sent for them, neither do the inner circle.

They expected this, and I think they expect more of what's going on too. They just let the triplets go though. They trust their leader.

Sophie

As soon as the triplets came in, I told them to follow me.

We left a note on my bed saying I needed them for something. Since the two of the triplets just manifested it'd be safe to take them.

Rex is talentless, so that makes him perfect for our group. He already knows, he doesn't care, but I know better. I told him we can be different together, he smiled at that.

Bex is a phaser and Lex is a froster, they train with the Blur and their mom. Rex gets me and loves to boast about it, we work on our skills together.

I won't teach his siblings to make it fair for him, they understand better than I thought.

We teleport to woods to get a peaceful conversation, when we get there I tell them that the new waywards are onto me.

I'm going to teach them about spy craft. Since they are young, no ones gonna believe they're spies. That makes them the perfect candidates.

They have to earn the waywards trust, then get their secrets. They agree happily, they finally got their first mission.

As soon as that's over, we are about to head back when I hear a shout for help, telepathically. But the triplets can hear it too.

I don't want them getting hurt so I tie them up, despite their protests. I gag them and leave them in my room with a note.

I'm safe, I found something interesting.

As soon as that's done I go back to we're we were. At first I can believe my eyes, then I see it.

Fitz

I can hear thoughts in the back of my head, they don't seem to be mine but then I realize, it sounds just like Sophie.

When Sophie was calling for help at the Neverseen's base. This call it's the exact same, I stop.

Soon enough Mr. Forkle crashes into the boys room, along with a very worried collective and inner circle.

"Did you hear the call?" He seems very nervous, and starts muttering. "Her room," is all he can come up with.

Everyone rushes up the stairs, only to find the triplets. They are tied up and gagged, "S-Mel!"

Where are they gonna say someone else's name? That's not the focus, we need to find her.

"We went to train in the woods, I don't know which woods because she teleported. But when we were about to leave she heard a call, to me all it sounded like was a horse. Then again she's a polyglot and can communicate with animals, but she immediately paled after hearing it." Bex says, but Rex continues for her.

"We said we could help, but the next thing you know she teleports back, gagging me with iron, I don't have an ability, I'm talentless and she had been training me, I can get out of everything but iron. Then she goes to Lex and wraps him in paper so he can't freeze it. Then goes to Bex and crushes her between us, if Bex tried to phase through us, she'd kill us." Rex doesn't want to continue, so Lex does.

"It was a wonderful plan until we started hearing her shouts for help. I know she just wanted the best for us, but we could have helped!" They all start crying and run up to Squall, who melts her costume.

ITS JULINE DIZZNEE! Everyone is too focused on finding Melody to care.

Keefe shouts from next to me that he found a note. It's very vague, everyone groans. Then, there's a loud boom and a scream.
