On the way to his next location, he felt a sudden loneliness. Knowing what he is, he has no right to ask for someone to be by his side, but he wished to have one. He wished to be liked and not be feared, he wished that someone would want to stay by his side.
He was lonely, had no one there, but who would befriend such an bizarre crearure as himself? Who would like to accompany the most feared monster as he is called?
Death knew this very well.
He knew he would be alone for eternity. He knew that no one would ever like him, because he is the end of all lives.
But still he liked to hope and hoping was not forbidden.
His journey would never end and his next location was a little village in Europe, England. Death loves to be in this country because of the beautiful scenery he gets to see, before doing his work as usual.
On his way Death felt somehow strange. As he was not alone, as he was being watched.
'I am Death I cannot be seen, this feeling is not right' and still he was looking around to find a little girl with big blue eyes watching him carefully. The way the girl looked at the dark creature was not like she feared him, she was curious about that obscure thing right in front of her.
Death felt a little happy, but was also concerned.
'How can a little girl see me?'
Without wasting another thought on that girl, Death vanished within seconds and the girl was not sure if what she saw for this few moments was real or just her imagination.
She was fascinated, but she was old enough to know that such a thing could not exist, so she lived her live to the fullest and did not think about her meeting with Death again.
