After Harry's rescue he was sent to St Mungos and is still there healing. James, Sirius, Ginny and I visited him every day. Harry told us about the Death Eaters, what they wanted and who they wanted. Kingsley also came in and asked for information so he could track down the remaining Death Eaters. Draco talked with Harry and they ended on good terms but Ron and Ginny both disagreed with him. Harry reasoned with them in the end and they both grumbled "fine." Hermione told us that there was a mystery person who accompanied us on defeating the Death Eaters but Ginny wouldn't say who. We begged her but she wouldn't give in saying that it wasn't here secret to tell. We questioned Harry about his 6th year and he told us we could watch the memories without him. So we took his memories to the Burrow. And here we are now standing around the pensieve. Ginny stayed with Harry at St Mungos and Professor McGonagall (A/N Dumbledore took over the role of Headmaster of Hogwarts. Soz didn't include that) joined us with watching the memories. We poured in Harry's memories and dunked our heads into his thoughts.

Harry Potter was snoring loudly. He had been sitting in a chair beside his bedroom window for the best part of four hours, staring out at the darkening street, and had finally fallen asleep with one side of his face pressed against the cold win-dowpane, his glasses askew and his mouth wide open. The room was strewn with various possessions and a good smattering of rubbish. Owl feathers, apple cores, and sweet wrappers littered the floor, and a mess of newspapers sat in a puddle of light on his desk. The headline of one blared: HARRY POTTER: THE CHOSEN ONE? Rumors continue to fly about the mysterious recent disturbance at the Ministry of Magic, during which He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was sighted once more.

James squeezed my hand tightly as I remembered what happened the last time we watched his memories. Sirius had died, killed by his own cousin.

A second newspaper lay beside the first. This one bore the headline: SCRIMGEOUR SUCCEEDS FUDGE

Sirius and James whooped and yelled "YOU SUCK FUDGE!" and "NO MORE DUMBRIDGE!" Fred and George cracked out laughing, Ron joining in. "Boys" I muttered to myself. I noticed a letter in Harry's hand and I was super eager to see what it said.

Dear Harry,
If it is convenient to you, I shall call at number four, Privet Drive this coming Friday at eleven p.m. to escort you to the Burrow, where you have been invited to spend the remainder of your school holidays. If you are agreeable, I should also be glad of your assistance in a matter to which I hope to attend on the way to the Burrow. I shall explain this more fully when I see you.
Kindly send your answer by return of this owl. Hoping to see you this Friday,
I am yours most sincerely,
Albus Dumbledore

I knew Harry was happy about leaving the Dursleys and I felt sorry he had to grow up with such a horrible childhood. I sighed and shook the thoughts from my head. I watched as Dumbledore arrived on the Dursleys doorstep bewildering them. James laughed at their expression of disbelief. The discussion between Dumbledore, Harry and the Dursleys was uncomfortable but humorous at the same time. When Harry went to Slughorn's house, James groaned "Not old Sluggy! Why can't Dumbledore find a better Potions teacher!" Sirius nodded his head and I smacked them both on the shoulder. "You shouldn't be disrespectful to a teacher! There IS a teacher here with us you know!!" James and Sirius shut up and gave Professor McGonagall their both most innocent smiles. Professor McGonagall rolled her eyes and whispered under her breath "The same boys I knew when they were 11."
