The Cover Up (Bokuto x fem reader)

Ch1 Prologue

How did it come to be this? How did you get here? It was a clear starry night and you we on the rooftop star gazing. As you were looking at the sky you started to sit up and look at the busy people below you. The lights from the buildings and cars were mesmerizing your could be there forever but you knew that you couldn't. Everything always comes to an end sooner or later. You wanted to end it all early but, before you fall you feel something grab you you turn to see...

But before that, let's talk about before everything happened. Y/n(age:7) was a young girl who was always trying to be the best version of herself. But her life was always harsh she had no family. Her parents weren't dead but as responsible parents they worked... but a bit too much. She was an only child with no relatives around.

Her parents were strict although weren't there they would get angry with her, enough to hit her but this wasn't classified as abuse more as "discipline" but, because her parents would come home tired they were close to never in their right minds. The only person remotely close to her relative was her nanny. She was always so sweet and patient with y/n. Her nanny lived with her grandchildren Kōtarō Bokuto and his two older sisters (they were unnamed).

Everyday you would go to your nanny's house early in the morning and late at night go back home with you mother. So early in fact that you would be dozing off on their couch while their all sleeping because it was way too early. You would always be playing with them although they were a little older but they didn't mind to them it was like you were their little sister they were like your family. But everything changed when you had to move.

Y/n (age:9) was devastated her only family she knew and loved with her whole heart was ripped just like that. That was when y/n started to learn how to close herself off from others so that she would never get hurt like that again. She was never out right depressed but she was happy towards the naked eye but if you took a closer look you could see how miserable she was but she was never the type of person see it all so easily no no no she had built a wall to protect her but little did she know her wall that she thought was protecting her was harming her as well.

Y/n was the same throughout middle school she would keep quiet and do her work to please her mom but she would also have to socialize with everybody so nobody would think there was something wrong. She would always stick with a group but after a while they would slowly kick her out of their group so she would go group to group which was very tiring but nobody seemed to care so she thought she was safe but her loneliness was eating her up inside. If you were to ask her so called friends, they would say she was a cheerful friend and would always be their for her friends.

She would never be sad but when she does show, it she would always say she was fine. She would never be invited to any events because they always knew that her mom would say no so they were just tired of asking. She was always left out but she acted normal so it was they thought it was fine.

At the beginning of high school it was like any other school day but the difference was y/n(age:15) grew apart from her "friends" so nobody really remembered her. One day in Karasuno Kiyoko was looking for a new manager and when she went to go ask around they would all said no. Kiyoko decided to go ask if Y/n wanted to join since she was all by herself listening to music and looking outside the window. She had that gentle look but she was too "boring" for everyone.

She at first, declined but started to wonder whether it was a good idea or not. On a whim she asked her parents and to her surprise they said it was okay although her parents where now more open minded she never really trusted her parents because every time she would they would always lose her trust one way or another.

There she stood in front of the gym door her mind was racing and she was nervous although she has done speeches it was still nerve-wracking. As she opened the door she saw complete darkness and felt a stinging. Then as she was falling she heard somebody shout " BOKE" before she blacked out completely.
