Did You Miss Me?

Chapter 2

3rd person POV:

It had been one hour since they left Eren's house. The ride was quiet Erwin was looking out the window and across from him Eren sat holding Rivan tightly. Even though Rivan was scared he ended up falling asleep on Eren's lap because he was tired from the events that had just taken place and it was past his bedtime. Eren looked down at Rivan all he could think about was how they were going to escape. Erwin grew bored of the silence and decided to strike up a conversation with Eren.

"So what have you been doing all these years I've only seen you in town a few times". No reply.

"Can you at least look at me"? Eren didn't respond he just kept looking at Rivan.

"I said look at me". Erwin said in a more serious tone. Eren fought the urge to look up he just sat there worried until Erwin roughly grabbed his chin forcing Eren to make eye contact with him.

"There now I can see you're beautiful eye's". Eren just glared at him This made Erwin smile. He moved his other hand on Eren's face to play with his cheeks stretching them out a little before squeezing them back in place lightly making sure to be gentle with him. Eren still had the same mad glare except now he looked even more pissed.

"We'll be home soon". Erwin said finally letting go of Eren's face.

"Why couldn't you leave us alone"? Eren mumbled.

"Ah look who finally decided to talk. can you speak up so I can hear you better"?

"Why couldn't you leave us alone"? Eren repeated a little louder.

"Why? Because I missed you. I would see you in town with that annoying son of a bitch you now call you're husband I wanted to hunt you down if it was the last thing I did. I wanted to kill you're son and Levi because you cared about them more than me. Then I wanted bring you back with me so we could stay together Just the two of us".

"So you want to take me away from Levi, kill Rivan, and keep me as a pet"?

"Don't worry that was a while ago I won't do that to you now unless you try to escape again". Erwin said.

"Well look at that were here".  Eren looked out the window to see the mansion he was terrified of approaching. The chauffeur opened the gate and they went up the driveway until the carriage came to a stop. Eren's heart was racing he didn't want to go back he didn't want Rivan getting hurt he wanted to be home with Levi. Erwin stepped out first and offered his hand for Eren to take. Eren just took Rivan in his arms and went out the other side that annoyed Erwin. He opened the door and the first thing Eren could see was

one of Erwin's maids carrying some blankets to a room until she saw Eren. He eyes went wide and she dropped them.

"Eren is that you? it's been year's!" She ran over to him and hugged him tightly. The last time she saw Eren was before he even got married to Levi.

"Petra?" He questioned.

"Wow I'm surprised you even remember me. Aw who's this little guy? She focused her attention to Rivan. How old is he"? She asked.

"He's my son and he's Five" Eren answered.

"He's so cute". She said with a sweet smile.

"Thank yo-" just as Eren was about to finish Erwin stepped in.

"Petra don't you still have to finish the laundry"? Erwin gave Petra a look that got her a little nervous she then looked down and picked the towels back up.

"M-my mistake I'm sorry Sir it won't happen again". Petra then walked away with her head down extremely embarrassed. 

"Hey you didn't have to be such a dick to her". Eren turned to Erwin.
