Chapter 20:Explanations and lies

Yeji's POV

I was still sleeping when my phone started ringing

I quickly opnend my eyes and picked up the call

"Hello who is this?"I asked since I didnt check the caller id

"Its me unnie"Ryujin replied

"Oh..we dont have tutoring classes today why did you call?"I asked

"Im already downstairs of your house I was too shy to go and wake you up unnie"she chuckled

"WHAT?"i said out ouf shock

"Ouch dont need to scream unnie I was just wondering if you could help me go to the Lee's since I dont know where Chaeryeong's house is"She replied

"I-Ok I'll be there in 10 minutes"I said and quickly ended the call

I then rushed to the bathroom to take a shower

Ryujin's POV

When Yeji unnie finally came down I smiled at her

"How did you get in?"she asked

"Oh your mom let me in before heading to work unnie"I replied

"Why ask me wheres Yuna?"she asked

"She isnt answering my calls even Lia unnie's calls I think she's ignoring us"I replied as we started walking outsise

"Ignoring why?"Yeji unnie asked as she locked the door of their house

"I dont know last time Lia unnie saw her Yuna got mad because of something"I replied

"Hmm weird Yuna isnt the type of person to get mad over small things"she replied

Knowing my cousin that is very true

"I'll call a taxi"she said and I nodded

Chaeryeong's POV

I was called to my room by the maid saying that a person named Ryujin was looking for me down stairs

I immediately fixed my self and ran downstairs only to find her with Yeji unnie again

My smile slightly faded

"Hi unnie"I greeted her first

"Hi Chaer"she replied

"Lets go to the dining room"I replied

We sat down on our chairs as we waited for dad

"I hope ypu dont mind that I bought Yeji unnie with me I didnt know where your house is"Ryujin said

I just smiled

"Its ok"I replied

Yeji unnie was just looking at me

But none of us started a conversation

Dad finally came and greeted the two

"Glad to see youre finally awake miss Shin"dad said

Ryujin gave him a smile

"Im sure youre here to know more about Joanne"dad replied

Ryujin nodded

"When you got to an accident 2 years ago Ryujin Seulgi got depressed and Sehun didnt know what to do....one day your mother asked Sehun to build a advanced android who looks exactly like you and got your character..Sehun made the android and named her android Joanne,at first your mother was so happy but as time goes by....ypur mom started missing you more and got more depressed so Sehun made a decition to sell the android on his most trusted friend...Sehun sold the robot to me and I brought her home to Chaeryeong,Chaeryeing got attached to Joanne...So I hope you understand why she acts this way infromt of you Ryujin"Dad explained

Ryujin nodded

"I totally understand sir"Ryujin replied

"I have one more question sir"Ryujin asked

"Go ahead"dad replied

"How was Joanne to Chaeryeong"she asked

My dad smiled

"She took care of my daughter like she was the most precious gem for her,she made her smile and laugh she treats her like a queen"my dad replied

"I'll try my best to do the same"Ryujin same which made me look at her

She just smiled so I looked doen trying my best to hide my reddened face

"Chaer...can we talk"Yeji unnie suddenly said

I looked at her before looking at my dad

He nodded

"Ok..."I shyly said

I honestly feel stupid for getting mad at her since we like the same girl

She's like a sister for me

And we were so close before all of this happened

We went to the garden

"You like Ryujin?"she asked

I looked at her

Is I say yes would she get jealous

She smiled and put her arm around my shoulder

"Tell unnie everything Chaer"she said in the most comforting tone

"I-...you know how much I miss Joanne when she disappeared..and seeing Ryujin for the first time made me feel alive...."I replied

Yeji's POV

"So you do like her"I replied

"You can say that unnie"she said not even wanting to look at me

I sighed

Im doing this because I love you like my little sister Chaeryeong....

Im ready to give up everything for you...

"I talked to you to let you know that Im not your competitor"I replied

And that made her lool at me

"I dont like Ryujin anymore Chaer"I lied but I still managed to smile

"Really unnie?"she said

I nodded

"Lets not let my past feelings destroy our friendship"I said

"Im sorry unnie..."she replied and hugged me

Everything I told you was a lie Chaer...

I love her more than anyone...

But sacrifices needs to be made for our friendship...
