" Kiibo huh? that's a cool name, " kokichi quietly said as he walked over to Kiibo's last class. Since it was pretty far away from his locker, he got to avoid anyone bulling him. He had gotten pretty lucky that day, he also hasn't seen Shuichi at all, which surprised him.
Kokichi spotted Kiibo outside his class, and walked over to him.
" H-Hello! I'm k-kokichi Ouma, " Kokichi smiled as he held out his hand. Kiibo quickly shook it.
" I'm Kiibo, " The other said as he looked away from kokichi. Kokichi sighed as he went to show Kiibo to his locker.
" follow me, I'll s-show you were you locker is, " Kokichi said as he started to walk to the locker number, looking at the paper. Kiibo followed behind him.
" So this is your locker, i-its pretty close to mine which is cool! " kokichi smiled as he closed the lock he showed Kiibo how to open.
" Nice, which is yours? " Kiibo asked. Kokichi pointed to one a few lockers down across the hall, " Alright, n-now let me show you your classes t-then we can go to lunch, " Kokichi said.
" Hey! Kokichi! " kokichi heard someone say. he turned to where the voice was coming from and saw Kaito walking towards him. He held onto Kiibo's arm out of habit and tried to pull him away ignoring the taller approaching them, but he was stopped by Kaito running in front of them.
" where did you think you were going? Its not like your little boyfriend is here to protect you~ " Kaito teased as kokichi started crying. Kiibo could tell what was going to happen and held onto kokichi in a protective way.
" I-I'm sorry!- "
" Leave us alone! " Kiibo said to Kaito as he tried to walk off with Kokichi, but Kaito grabbed him by his arm, pulling him back.
" And who do you think you are? Acting so high and mighty when your barely even taller than little Kokichi here, " Kaito said as he started laughing slightly.
" J-just leave him a-alone. " Kokichi stuttered as he didn't want Kiibo getting dragged into it all.
" Aww, are you trying to protect him? What would your freak boyfriend think about this? " Kaito asked. Kokichi started crying more as he tried to pull Kiibo away, but Kiibo wouldn't let Kaito just bully him like that and get away with it.
" K-Kiibo lets go! " Kokichi whispered screamed to Kiibo as he tried to pull him away.
" Yeah, just run off with the little cry baby and make out somewhere, " Kaito said as he went to walk away, felling satisfied. but Kiibo wasn't
" Hey. " Kiibo said, getting Kaito's attention. He turned around and looked down at Kiibo.
" What? Do you have something to say? " Kaito said.
Instead of saying something, Kiibo punched Kaito. He had watched movies to learn how to act like everyone else and in the movies the hero would fight the bully a lot. So that's what he was doing.
" Ow! What the hell! " Kaito said as he held his hand to his cheek where Kiibo punched him.
" Don't be so rude! " Kiibo said as he went to walk away with Kokichi, now feeling better.
Kaito wouldn't let someone hit him and then just walk away so he pushed Kiibo on the ground and started punching him in the face, and Kokichi stared sobbing as he screamed for Kaito to get off him. Kiibo tried fighting back, and he did get some good punches in, but it was oblivious that Kaito was physically stronger that Kiibo so he would win the fight.
Soon due to Kokichi's screaming the majority of their grade which was at lunch was watching the fight. Soon a teacher came and broke it up, and now we have Kokichi and Kiibo sitting in the nurses office.
" I-I'm so sorry! Its my fault s-since he was b-bothering me, " Kokichi said as he cried into his hands.
" Hey, its ok, I decided to punch him. " Kiibo comforted as he laid down in the cot.
" Kokichi! Oh god your ok, Where were you, I texted you like 10 times! " Shuichi ran into the room, And he saw Kiibo and Kokichi crying.
" I-I'm sorry I was with Kiibo and I d-didn't look at m-my phone, " Kokichi apologized, not really wanting to upset Shuichi, especially in front of Kiibo.
" Its fine, just try to actually care about other people for once, " Shuichi said being his normal manipulative self. Kokichi nodded as he fidgeted with his thumbs and looked down.
" He was caring, He was just busy. " Kiibo said to Shuichi as he sat up.
" Sure he was, because its so hard to check your phone, " Shuichi said as he stood back, arms crossed.
" Kiibo its f-fine, " Kokichi said as he went to leave.
" No its not! You let everyone push you around and make fun of you and insult you! That isn't ok! " Kiibo said.
" Well if you care about him so much why don't you just date him? " Shuichi said.
" I will! I Would be better than you! " Kiibo said, not really meaning what he said.
" Fine. Go ahead. I'm done with trying to protect kokichi, we're over. " Shuichi said angrily as he left the room. As soon as the door was shut kokichi hugged Kiibo and started crying.
" Hey hey, shh, its ok, " Kiibo said. He was normally cold and distant from everyone but he felt in a way that it was his responsibility to help Kokichi. I mean the teacher made him show Kiibo around from reason, there were so many other students she could pick from. He decided right then that he would help kokichi the best he could at the school. He would protect him.
