Scarlets Letter

     It was sunny outside, the sky was clear and the breeze made the weather feel perfect. Kanpikey and Bukei were walking together to the park for a date. A piece of paper drifts through the wind and lands on Bukei's head. Kanpikey looks down at him as he grabs the paper. "What's that?" They sit down on a bench and Bukei scans over it. "I'm not sure...Seems to be a love letter but it is written like it's from the 1800's." Kanpeiky looks over and reads over it.

'Dear Scarlet,

      I hope this letter finds you well. As you know this affair has gone on for many years and my wife is now expecting. As this is said I will be telling you to never contact me again. I hope you well and with this letter will be payment to compensate for you to never speak to my wife. My dearest scarlet, your life and mine may never cross again, but the days we came together were the best days of mine. I hope you well, My Dearest, Scarlet. '

        The end of the letter is ripped off but the address is still on it. "Well Bukei, we should see if that place is still there, and take the letter back." Bukei looks up at him nervously and twitches. "O-Okay." Kanpikey takes out his phone and looks up the address. "Found it but it's a good thirty minutes away, so we should probably take the car." Bukei nods softly and gets up, holding his hand while Kanpikey gets up with the letter in his pocket. They start to walk home and Kanpikey wraps his arm around Bukei.

     Once they get to the car Kanpikey starts driving. "This will be fun, I wonder why the letter was all the way over here though.." Bukei nervously looks at him then stares at his lap. "I don't know, but you know I have such bad luck...this can't be good." Kanpikey chuckles slightly and they make it to the house. "Well, we will just have to see about that then~"

      They reach the house and it looks absolutely gorgeous, it's modern and looks like it was cleaned less than a day ago. "Well I wasn't expecting this.." Kanpikey chuckles and gets out of the car, opening Bukeis door for him. "Th-Thank you.." He steps out of the car and Kanpikey closes the door then wraps an arm around his waist.

       They walk up to the door and Kanpikey knocks three times. An older female in a pretty flowered colored dress opens the door. "Well hello sweeties, why it's so rare I get visitors, what brings you here?" Kanpikey gives her a charming smile that could calm any soul. "Well, we were wondering if Miss Scarlet was around?" The lady giggles softly and moves so they can come inside.

       "Well dearies, I'm Scarlet, may I ask why you're looking for me?" As they walk in she shuts the door. Bukei seems scared and gently holds onto Kanpikey's sleeve. "Well, we found this letter and followed the address here ma'am." Kanpikey hands her the letter and her face starts to contort into anger.

         The house shifts and morphed, walls start to fall and the wall paper shrinks up. A piercing scream fills their ears. Bukei hides face in Kanpikey's arm, starting to cry in fear. "WHY WOULD YOU BRING THIS HERE!!! YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE!" Her voice becomes demonic and her body seems to slowly decompose.

       Kanpikey grabs him, easily throwing him over his shoulder and running. They get out of the house and when they look back, all they see is a decaying old house. Clouds are filling the sky as the night has already arrived. "C-Can we never do that again?" Kanpikey chuckles and kisses him gently. "Of course love."
