Soulmate AU- Joe Mazzello x F!Reader

Soulmates. A simple word but holds a strong and deeper meaning behind it all, soulmates are destined to be together no matter what. That was part of the whole reason they existed, though I was now in my early twenties and still had yet to meet or even find my soulmate. Most people found there's at 15 but I was one of the late ones, all I would see was shades of grays, blacks, and whites plus every hue in between. A sigh escaped my lips as I looked towards the cloudy New York skies, the Yankees were playing a game in the nearby stadium and my friend had coned me into going, so I had no choice. To be honest baseball did seem a bit boring to me sometimes, but it was alright to watch, my true favorite sport was soccer, just the game in general, I didn't favor any team over any others. Since it was a chilly day I decided to wear my Jurassic Park hoodie I had received as a Christmas present from my best friend one year, she hadn't found her soulmate yet either.

The tickets were hella expensive as well at least a $50.00  per person, no wonder the stadium was fucking huge and served pretty good ballpark food as well. Sighing I allowed myself to be dragged into the front gates where they scanned the tickets, my friend handed the tickets to the person collecting and scanning them, course she then ran to the bathroom after we reached our seats. Since there would be a few minutes before the game started I decided to go buy something to drink, after I paid for the expensive styrofoam cup with Coca Cola's label on it and took a sip, I made my way back towards my seats. Weaving though some people I ran into something...no, wait SOMEONE, as my drink spilled over his shirt.

"Oh my God I'm so sorry!" I spoke looking up at the male's eyes, 'Whoa he has some nice hazel eyes- WAIT HAZEL AH WHAT THE HELL???'

Joe's POV

I was currently making my way towards my seat at the Yankee's baseball game, I wore their signature Jersey as I headed towards seat 2A/wherever, my attention went to my phone for a moment as I felt a smaller form bump into my own. Before I knew it I felt something wet coat the front of my jersey, 'Dammit and that was my favorite jersey....' Then I heard the female apologize, well clearly she was female from her voice and looks, that's she my eyes locked with her (E/C) ones, 'Holy hell am I tripping or something?'

"Um Hi? And you're fine," I commented looking at her before looking back towards the vivid green grass, the colorful stadium, and the Yankee's team. Then I returned my gaze to the shorter female, examining my soulmate curiously and she seemed to realize as well that I was her soulmate because the shock on her face was adorable I have to admit.

"H-Hi, l-like I said I'm s-sorry," She stuttered making me crack a smile, 'Yep definitely adorable.' Finally I chuckled, "It's alright no need to panic and break down on me." She still didn't seem to notice as I offered my hand out to her, "I'm Joseph Mazzello, but call me Joe it's easier."

The girl hesitantly took my hand as she lightly blushed, "I-I'm (Y/N) (L/N)..." I nodded in greeting before I moved her to the side to keep some random guy from spilling his Mountain Dew on her, "Careful there." (Y/N) gave me a confused expression so I motioned towards the guy who managed to spill his drink, nearly making me laugh at his horrified expression as the bevrege covered a woman's white shirt, showing off all her curves. Her eyes widened as they locked with one another, 'What an embarrassing way to meet your soulmate, wait never mind that just fucking happened to me...Doesn't matter I'm glad it did...'

A smile subconsciously reached my face before I looked back to (Y/N), "Well suppose we could exchange numbers, after all would be fun getting to know my soulmate a bit more." (Y/N) nodded at this as I opened a new contact and handed her my phone so she could put her name in as well as her number, making me smile slightly. Then she opened a contact on her phone so I could input my number into her phone as well, with a slight hum I finished putting my name in the contact information.

Time Skip- Four months

I looked down at my phone seeing I had received a text from 'Sunflower' which made me smile brightly seeing as I had just finished filming on set, so I had the rest of the day to text that adorable human. Course first I had to leave set so I went to say bye to Rami and head on towards my car.

(Y/N)'s POV

I hummed boredly texting my Dino boy as I waited for him to come pick me up for like our twenty-something date this month, he had told me to dress casual and so I did. It also had been roughly a month since I had found out he was a big-time actor and even played in my favorite movie Jurassic Park. Needless to say when I first found out, I think I may have fainted because when I came back, Joe had me in his lap, lightly splashing a little water on my face. Either way this was a dream come true, and over the past four months I had even gotten to meet some of his friend's, their relationships with one another never ceased to both amaze me and never be boring.

Plus since color had entered my life, instead of seeing black and white, everything looked wonderful and I always remained astounded at the sharp contrast. Sighing I texted my friend (F/N), unfortunately for her she still had yet to meet her soulmate and honestly kind of feel bad for her, though she always wore those fake smiles whenever a soulmate was mentioned. It's like she resented them or something, maybe she'll find him one day, I hope he isn't dead.

Eventually I stood up hearing a knock on my door, humming I happily opened the door to be greeted by my hot soulmate Joe, "Hello stranger!" Joseph laughed and rolled his eyes as well, "Hello to you too stranger haven't I seen you around here?" I rolled my eyes in response to his dorkiness huffing, before I poked him in the cheek, making him chuckle a bit.

"Well anyway ready to head out? Or not? Still need to beautify yourself?" Joe joked making me roll my eyes and playfully smack his shoulder, resulting in a laugh from the taller male. A playful glare was cast his way from me as he chuckled and raised his hands. "A'ight a'ight I'm joking babe."

"Yeah you better be fucking joking or I'll kick you out," I teased in response as he feigned shock and hurt, "Oh how heartless are you?" This made me giggle softly before humming, "I'm pretty heartless if I do say so myself." Joe chuckled slightly and nudged me, "Nah you're not, you're an adorable mouse."

I pouted playfully, my cheeks puffed up for a moment, then I sighed dramatically as I looked towards him, "Whatever, let's just go Dino boy." The male nodded and offered his hand to me with a light, cheeky smile, "Fine, fine, let's go."
