Stuck (Part 3)

Poppy: Ok all is left so far is to ride this thing!

She said pointing at a small cart that was connected to other small carts, it was made out of wood and looked pretty sturdy but the carts themselves were pretty small.

She got into the first cart and gestured Branch to sit next to her Since Branch of course agreed to be her plus one he got in next to her and put on their seat belt. Poppy then pulled a small lever that was by the first cart and they began to move, remember how the first part of this ride was a mini-museum? Well, this part of the ride was also like a mini-museum except it explains Henry's life after he became a miner, and this time it's explained through not pictures but robots!

Calm music began to play as the ride went at a slow pace, Branch couldn't help but think the robots were kinda creepy...

The robots actually looked like real trolls except they had screws on their knees, elbows, and jaws.

So far the ride explains how Henry had to work hard all his life and how he was picked on by his coworkers sometimes...It also explained how he had to even get a second job due to the fact him and his wife were expecting a child soon. Branch actually found his life quite interesting he didn't think he would be enjoying himself like this but he couldn't help but notice that Poppy fell asleep on his shoulder, he couldn't really blame her though with all this quiet music and slow pace of the cart it would be pretty hard not to fall asleep.

Soon the ride got to the part where he discovered glitter which was where the story kinda got less interesting for Branch...

Then they got the part where Henry tells his wife about the good news, ever since he discovered glitter its been flying off the shelves in stores since every troll basically fell in love with it.

Robot Henry: Honey you will not believe what happened!

Robot Glitter: Oh sweetie is something wrong?! Did you lose your job?

Robot Henry: No, as a matter of fact, I made history!

Robot Glitter: What on Earth do you mean?!

Robot Henry: I found this pretty dust in the mines and it's been flying off the shelves in stores! Every troll is buying this stuff!

Robot Glitter: You don't mean-

Robot Henry: WE'RE GONNA BE RICH!!

Robot Glitter: Oh honey! That's wonderful, l love you so much, sweetheart! What did you name it?

Robot Henry: I named it after you my love...

Robot Glitter: Oh Henry you're everything I could've asked for in a husband!

'Even the robot has a happier life than me.' He thought

He took a quick glance at Poppy he couldn't help but admire how beautiful she looked...

Her long pretty eyelashes, her bright smile, her light pink skin, her soft dark pink hair, and her peaceful expression...

Branch felt his heart beat faster his mind told him to look away but his heart told him something else...His heart gave him an idea which he actually gasped a little at his own thoughts. He tried to ignore the idea but yet...there was a part of him that wanted to do this...

He thought of it for a moment before deciding he'll just do it and to make it quick. He leaned closer and gave her a small kiss on her glittery freckles, he made sure to not press too hard so she doesn't...

Poppy: Branch? What are you doing?

Branch immediately stop and pulled away he covered his mouth and a feeling of regret written all over his face, he felt like a complete idiot.
