august 13th, 9:25 am

"Bye Guys, love you!" Ellen said to her kids getting out of the car and walking into school. Ellen was 6 months pregnant now, and they were just starting to film season 8. "How are we gonna do it with 5 kids? Its gonna be hectic in our house." Patrick said driving down the highway to set, "We'll make it work. The kids will be 1,4, and 9 after the baby is born. Itll be hectic but we will definitely make it work" Ellen said smiling and holding his hands, "When is Kate due?" Patrick said, "Like next week or something. Shes done a really good job trying to keep the babies to full term, but its hard for her." Ellen said, "Im surprised shes still working! Shes about to pop." Patrick said, "Me too. Im surprised Eric is still letting her work." Ellen said, "Me too. Hes crazy about Kate and those kids." Patrick said as his phone started to ring, "Hey Mom, how are you?" Patrick said answering the phone. "Hi Patrick, Im good. how are you?" she said through the phone, "Good! Me and Ellen are just driving to work right now." Patrick said, "Oh Ellen! Can i talk to her?" She said, "Hi Mrs. Dempsey! How are you?" Ellen said, "Oh please, youre Mrs. Dempsey! Ive known you for 10 years you know to call me Amanda. Now how are my Grandkids?" Amanda said through the phone, "Theyre good! Darby and Sullivan stopped getting out of their beds in the middle of the night, Juliette is sitting up and crawling, and Talula is a genius." Ellen said, "Aw im so glad to here that! And how are you in the baby?" Amanda said, "Good! The baby is good, only about 3 months left. And Ive stopped throwing up every morning so thats also good!" Ellen said, "Good! And how is Kate? I saw her post on FaceBook about the babies. When is she having them?" Amanda asked, "Any day now for sure. But ill ask her when she thinks when i see her and let you know!" Ellen said, "Okay! And you guys are still coming out for Christmas this year right?!" Amanda asked, "Yep! We will see you then." Ellen said hanging up the phone.

They pulled into the back Parking Lot of the set of Greys, and saw Eric getting out of his trailer. "Hey Eric how are ya?" Patrick said getting out of the car, "Oh you know, stressed out. Im about to go from having no kids to 3 kids. Tonight i get to go home and assemble 3 kids." Eric said, "Want some help? I can head over after work." Patrick said, "Sure man that would be great!" Eric said as Patrick walked away onto set with Ellen, "Hi Kate! How are you?" Ellen said walking up to Kate, "Oh you know, feeling like im about to pop." Kate said laughing, "I know what it feels like to pop with one baby, not three. Hang in there, ill see you at the dream house in 5" Ellen said, "Yep see you soon." Kate said. A few minutes later Ellen caught up to Patrick, "Im really concerned about Kate, shes sweating, looks so pale, has bags under her eyes." Ellen said, "Should i talk to Eric and see about bringing her in?" Patrick said, "Please do. I never looked like that when i was pregnant." Ellen said, "True, neither did Jessica when she had Luke." Patrick said, "Right. Ill see you in 5 we're working with Kate." Ellen said. When she walked onto the set of the dream house Kate was there sitting on the couch, "Hey Kate how are you?" Ellen said sitting next to Kate on the couch, "Tired." Kate said, Ellen touched her forehead, "Kate you have a fever. You need to go in. You look so Ill." Ellen said, "We'll film this scene then i'll go in." Kate said, "Alright are we ready?" Patrick said walking on to set, "Action!" *this upcoming scene isnt actually in the show* "Meredith! You cant just do the surgery by yourself, i understand its a general case but its also a Neonatal and Neuro case!" Kate said, "I can! Robbins said i would be perfectly fine doing it myself!" Ellen said, "Im not gonna allow it Meredith-" Kate said then grabbing her stomach, "Cut." Patrick yelled running to Kate who was being held up by Ellen. "You" Patrick pointed, "Call 911" Patrick added, "Someone go find Eric Dane!" Ellen yelled walking Kate to the parking lot to get in the ambulance. "What is happened?" Eric said as he got to the lot, "Her water broke and shes in alot of pain." Ellen said, "And ambulance should be here any minute." Patrick said, "Are you okay Kate?" Eric said running over to Kate and holding her, "I will be." Kate said as the ambulance pulled up. "Do you want us to meet you at the hospital?" Patrick asked Eric, "Ill need the company and we will need the help. " Eric said. Ellen and Patrick got in their car and started driving to the hospital.

They pulled into the hospitals parking lot and they got a text from Eric,
Eric: Shes going back for an Emergency C-Section, ill be in the waiting room on the 4th level.
Patrick: Okay we'll be there soon.
"Kates having a C-Section, we're going to wait with Eric." Patrick said to Ellen as they walked in, "Okay." Ellen replied. They got into the hospital and immediately went to the waiting room on the 4th floor, "Hey Eric how are you doing?" Ellen said sitting next to Eric who had is head in his hands, He looked up, "They just came out here and told me that she coded. Shes fine now but they only have the first baby out, Brady is 6pounds 5ounces, 20 inches long and was born at 12:34 pm on August 14th 2011." Eric said smiling as he talked about his son, "Eric thats great! That was only 2 minutes ago i bet the second is out now, then following the third." Patrick said, Ellen rubbed his back and said, "Youll get to see them in no time. Itll be so soon just keep your head up." Ellen said. "Eric Dane?" A doctor came out saying, "Over here." Eric said, "Baby B is out, 12:36 pm, 6ounds 4ounces, 20 1/2 inches. Baby C just was out as I left and she is 5pounds 13ounces 18inches and at 12:38 she was born." The doctor said, "Eric thats great news" Ellen said smiling, "Congrats Eric!" Patrick said, "When can i see them?" Eric said smiling looking at the doctor, "We're getting you guys a room. So ill take you there now it should be ready. Kate is stable and should be out any minute." The doctor said as Eric, Ellen, and Patrick followed to the room. "Here it is, room 2213" The doctor said, "Thank you." Eric said walking in, "Theyre beautiful Eric." Ellen said looking at all 3 of the babies." Ellen said, "Hold them Eric! Theyre waiting!" Patrick said, "Okay okay. Im just in shock!!" Eric said picking up Harper, "Shes perfect Eric." Patrick said, "You guys have some pretty adorable babies!" Ellen said.
