𝐹𝑎𝑖𝑟𝑦 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑒 (𝐺𝑎𝑏𝑒𝑛𝑎𝑡ℎ)

𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 14 - 𝑙𝑒𝑡'𝑠 𝑡𝑎𝑘𝑒 ℎ𝑖𝑚 𝑏𝑎𝑐𝑘

Nathalie woke up, she could hear some soft noises from out her bedroom.

"What is happening?" the woman asked sleepily.

Suddenly the door opened revealing her parents.

They entered the room without even bothering to knock at the door.

Nathalie rolled her eyes.

She couldn't stand those people already and thinking she would have to spend her time with them made her sick.

Could Tale Teller at least give me nice fake parents?

"What is it my dear beloved parents?" she put her best fake smile on.

"We have been invited to a wedding"

"Yeah, it will be celebrated tomorrow morning"

Nathalie had an horrible feeling.

"Whose wedding?"

"Prince Gabriel Agreste's wedding obviously"

Nathalie groaned.

"And am I supposed to attend it too?"

Her parents laughed.

"Obviously not my dear, you are the one who kidnapped him, I doubt he wants to see you again" her mother said.

"Then why are you here?" she really wished those two to disappear from her sight in that instant.

"To tell you that you are going to stay locked here for the next two days" her father said.

Then they both exited the room leaving her alone there.

"Yeah, I wasn't interested in coming anyway" Nathalie snorted.

Nooroo and Duusu came out from their hiding place.

"Those people are horrible"

"Yeah, I understand why my fake self wanted to ran away from here"

"I'm sorry you can't take part to the wedding"

Nathalie shrugged.

"And for what? To see the man I love more than anything else marrying another woman? No thanks"

"I meant for saving him and us from this reality" Nooroo said.

Nathalie sighed.

"I told you I gave up"

Nathalie looked down.

If Gabriel was happy like that there was no need to drag him away from this reality even if it's fake.

"Do you think Ladybug and Chat Noir will defeat the villain?"

"I don't know anymore, it seems it had passed a lot of time, maybe they have lost"

Once I wanted them to win they loose.

"Trust me you should go away and leave your life while we live ours"

Nathalie sat down on a chair and looked out of the window.

Wherever Gabriel is I hope he's happy.

The man was staring at the ceiling while lying in his bed.

Out of his room were noises of every kind and Emilie's voice giving orders on this and that.

He got up and washed his face before opening the door of his bedroom.

Emilie saw Gabriel and approached him smiling.

"Good morning my dear, did you sleep well tonight?"

"Yes, my love"

It was a lie.

He had a very bad night, full of nightmares and indecisions, all regarding the two mysterious women he saw.

Emilie didn't have to know about all of this anyway, it warmed his heart to see her happiness for their wedding and he didn't want to ruin anything.

"Do you like those flowers?"

Emilie asked as she placed a bunch of red roses in his hands.

"They are beautiful" he smiled.

"And look at those lovely draperies"

She led him down corridors and stairs, his castle was full of colours, everything and everyone seemed to be so joyful.

And him? Was he joyful as well?

He wasn't sure.

"Thank you my love, it's beautiful"

"I can't wait to marry you" Emilie smiled and hugged him.

He held her close but her closeness wasn't making him feel satisfied.

He felt like he was hugging a ghost, it felt like it wasn't real.

He tried to push away those familiar feelings.

The next day was going to be great, he could feel it.

Nathalie was looking around to see what fantastic things were located into his new room.

She didn't like that place at all but since she thought she was going to stay there forever at least she wanted take a look around.

"Do you really want to stay here?" Nooroo asked rolling his eyes.

"Yes"

She opened her closet, there were a lot of beautiful dresses, not as beautiful as Gabriel's though but still precius.

"Wow miss Nathalie, with those dresses you could sneak at the wedding without being noticed" Duusu suggested.

"Duusu I told you already I'm not going anywhere"

"Do you really want to stay here forever? Really? With those people?" Nooroo asked.

"You are just repeating yourself Nooroo"

"I'm sorry"

The woman kept looking into the closet.

"I'm glad you will be able to attend the ceremony"

A voice, Nathalie knew who was speaking from outside her window.

She ran to see what happened.

Gabriel was standing in the yard just under her window and was talking to her parents.

"We are honoured to attend it your majesty"

"Good, see you tomorrow then"

She watched the man bow and walking away.

Nathalie stretched out her hand as she wanted to grab him and never let him go away.

Nooroo and Duusu noticed her gesture and smirked.

"I don't think you really want to stay in this place"

"Oh shut up you two" Nathalie grunted.

The woman walked back to the closet, looked carefully into it, chose a long red dress and threw it on the bed.

"Let's take my Gabriel back" she declared.
