Chapter 28

Jordan’s POV

To say I was happy was in understatement, I was thrilled nothing can change my mood at this moment ,we were walking out of the hospital with the ultrasound picture in my pocket and Kyle was holding the prescribed pills in his hand, he also asked for a copy of the ultrasound for himself. I was walking unsteady and kept taking the picture out and looking at it then putting it back on, I felt like a kid in a candy shop

“You are happy aren’t you?” Kyle said walking besides me and smiling 

“You do not know, I feel like I could die now, or I could dance right here, I don’t know what to do I’m so happy. Did you see how big she is?’’I said speaking rather fast and jumping up and down. Kyle laughed and looked at him; you could tell that he too was happy 

“She?” He said standing to look at me with an amused expression visible in his face 

“Yes it’s a girl “I said proudly standing there with him

“Did she say that because I sure didn’t hear that” He said laughing referring to the gynecologist 

“No she didn’t but I know it’s a girl, it’s an instinct” I said walking towards and leaving him standing there

“Well, your instincts are wrong, because this right here is my boy, the heir to Matthew’s company” He said pulling  me to his chest and rubbing my belly , this right here felt so right, I felt like we were in our little bubble and I wish it would remain like that for a long time. I wish I would always be this happy but I know that wont happy and this is going to end soon so might as well savor this moment before it ends  

“So where should be go for a meal,” I said while walking and his arms on my waist

“I’m in for Mac D’s today, the big Mac meal with nuggets on the side”  I said while we were walking towards his car, bystanders would look at us probably thinking that we are a couple or married and at this moment I would not let anyone burst this bubble, not yet

“Okay Mac Donald’s it is then after that we will go somewhere nice and chilled, I’m kidnapping you for the whole day today” I said as we approached the car and opening the door for me   

“Ha-ha, when did you inform me about this?” I said entering the car

“Hence I’m telling you now, I’m not asking” He said starting the car and headed to the restaurant. We got to the restaurant parking lot

“Do you want to eat in or we’ll eat at the park?” He said stopping the car to face me

“We are going to a park?” I said smiling 

“Yes we are, it’s a beautiful for some cool breeze and relaxation” He said smiling at me. We ordered take outs and headed to the local park. He took out our meals and we sat in the bench chowing on our meals, the park was a small park with swing and some sort of jungle gym for little kids to play. There were a few kids playing there and their parent looking at them while conversing with other parent ' this will be next time' I thought to myself

'' This is beautiful right, a break from hard work right'' He asked looking around the part and I just nodded 

''Hailey and I always go to the park on weekends '' He said suddenly

'' Where is she?'' I asked, He usually spends his weekends with her but today is different

''She is visiting her grandparent for the school holidays '' He said taking the last bite of his burger and wiping his hands the paper towel
