Y/N's POV

We drove out of town and cruised along the outskirts.

I stared out of the window, looking at the rain fall upon the land.

He drove to a hill, looking over the city. An oak tree beside us.

The rain obstructed the view of the lights and the stars.

"Y/N?"

"Yeah?"

I looked over at him.

"Have I ever told you how cute you are?

I scoffed and looked back to the city.

"Thanks, but no thanks."

I heard the car door open and close.

"Tommy?"

My door opened, letting in the cold air from the rain. I looked up and saw Tommy, wet from the rain.

"What are you doing?"

"C'mon. I wanna show you something."

"In the rain?"

"Not necessarily."

"Ok?"

I unbuckled and got out, covering my head with my coat. Tommy walked to the oak tree and climbed up the ladder that was hammered into the wood.

"Toby and I made this when we were smaller, with the help of our dad's, of course. We still use it sometimes."

I climbed up and there was a heater and blankets.

"Heat!"

I wrapped myself in a blanket, asking Tommy to turn on the heater for us.

I looked out the window they had and out to the prairies, the faint glow from nearby towns.

"Wow."

"I know, right? It's beautiful."

"It's more than that."

He wrapped himself in a blanket and sat beside me. I thought of placing my head on his shoulder, but couldn't force myself to do it.

We sat here for what seemed like 10 minutes until he put his arm around my shoulder. I looked at him and placed my head on his shoulder, him pulling me closer.

"Tommy, look, the rain's clearing, we can see the stars."

We looked out of the window and watched the stars.

"Tommy! I saw a shooting star!"

"Well?"

"Well what?"

"What are you gonna wish for?"

"I can't tell you otherwise it won't come true."

"Ah, right."

I looked at him as he pointed out another shooting star.

"I would ask what you wished for but..."

"It won't come true."

We laughed and continued looking at the stars.

We sat like this for about half-an-hour until the silence was broken by Tommy's voice.

"Y/N?"

"Mhmm?"

"Can I...kiss you?"

I looked at him in shock.

"Nevermind, it was a stupid idea."

"Tommy."

He looked at me.

"Of course you can."

He smiled and slowly took my face in his hand, bringing it towards him, our lips connecting. My first kiss, with him, in a tree fort. Perfect.

He smiled at me and checked the time.

"Uh, Y/N, it's 2:30."

"What?"

I was laughing, so was he.

"We should go home."

"Yeah, we should."

I know, short chapter but, at least somethings out!
