•Sams POV•

It was hopeless I couldn't get comfortable, I turned to my sides over and over, I couldn't lay on my back or it would hurt the living hell out of me. I heard the other talking downstairs but I was to sore to even get up, I just laid in my bed cuddling into the blankets. Suddenly the door opened, "hey Sam you okay.." Shea said walking in. "Y-yea just a bit sore.." I sat up slowly. "Well I'm glade colby was there to help you" she smiled and sat at the foot of my bed.

"Yea me to.." I smiled and looked down. "Sammy what's wrong.." she scooted closer to me. "I feel like if I didn't meet colby he would still have a girlfriend..." I sighed. "Ruin his life.. Sammy you have not ruined anyone's life not even Colbys besides he was going to break up with her anyways" she said running her hand through my fingers. I always like people playing with my hair it always calms me down and makes me feel safe.  "Thanks shea" I smiled.

She smiled back and opened my door to leave until she stoped, "oh colby want to come up here if that's okay with you?" She turned her head to me. "Yea that's fine" I said, she nodded and walked back downstairs. I sighed and turned on riverdale and leaned my back against my mountain of pillows. Suddenly the door opened, "hey Sammy you feel okay?" It was colby. "Yea just a bit sore that all" I said pausing the show. He came next to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Colby what are you doing" I giggled. "I'm tired and I want some cuddles" he sound like a 5 year old. I giggled and wrapped my arms around him. I was sitting up while he laid his head on my laps with his arms around my waist.

I just smiled and ran my fingers through my hair, this feels..nice. Very nice, I feel nice and safe and comfortable. "Hey Colby.." I said. "Hm" he hummed. "Thank you.." I said. "Anything for you Sammy" he said rubbing my thigh. I smiled and leaned my head back, just enjoying the nice safe feeling while it lasts.

~The next day~

I woke up on my side, I rubbed my eyes trying to get settled to the sunlight shining through my window. As I moved to sit up two strong arms pulled my waist towards them. My heart stoped and my eyes frozen with fear. "Don't leave me.." it was colby and oh my god his morning voice. I giggled and laid back down. "I thought you were comfortable on my lap" I said while playing with ring. "I was but you need to get comfortable to.." he mumbled and placed his head on my shoulder. I smiled and enjoyed the touch, it was nice and warmth nothing like I had before it was new...but I like this new feeling.

I also remember that the other stayed her, "hey colbs" I said. "Yes Sammy" he smiled, "where did the others sleep last night.." he yawned and closed his eyes, "I think they slept with the girls or in the living room why are you mad?" He said looking at me. "No I was just wondering" I smiled. I slowly sat up but was quickly pulled back into Colbys arms. "Nope nope not happing sweet heart" he said. I giggled, "colbs we have to get up we have to check on the others" he groaned and sat up while I was still in his arms. "Alright let's get our day star-" I was cut off my colby picking me up and throwing my over his shoulders.

"Colby!" I giggled. "What if a easier way to not walk" he chuckled. We walked downstairs well he did and we saw everyone in the living room. "Hey guys- well hi Sam" I heard Brennen laugh. "Hi" I said as I was being placed down. "Why aren't y'all dress school starts in a hour" colby said walking over to his backpack checking it if he had everything. "School was called off by sickness" Jake said. "Ooohhh" me and colby said the same time.
