"Uh huh... How are you gonna give me a diamond? Diamonds are the rarest mineral on Earth." Her lips tugged upwards, rendering the boy in contemplative seconds, before a breathtaking smile etched his lips

"Put your hand like this." He motioned his own palm right in front of him as it means to copy him

The girl hesitantly followed and anticipated what he was about to do, he put his chin on her palm with the same smile set on his lips, "Me. People call me Diamond too so I'll be your temporary diamond for now." Instead of feeling disappointed, the girl tip her head back and chortled lowly

"I didn't know that, but what do you mean by temporary?" For her, it sounded like she wanted him to be her diamond forever but thankfully they're not sharing the same brain cells at the moment

"I'll give you something that looks like a diamond next time but until then I'll be the one resembling it for you." Her hand slid down making the boy pout, "Sure, I doubt you'll find one."

"No, my sister can help me since she likes collecting accessories sometimes and she might know a bracelet that has a diamond embedded to it." Her eyebrows ceased in confusion, "Bracelet?"

"Yeah, the one you put on your wrist." He gestured at his wrist while wringing it with his fingers, "Oh, is there something you can put on you neck then? Maybe a collar you call it?" The boy was silent for ephemeral moment before he chuckled

"It's called necklace. Have you ever not seen one before? It's pretty common, I mean look around you. Children often wore something on their neck, that's what you called necklace." Her jaw dropped to form an 'O' and nodded her head comprehensively

"I thought that was a collar. Oh well!" The boy could no longer hold back his laughter as he tipped his head back to let out his uncontrollable cackling, his body trembling from the action

"Stop laughing at me. I don't really know these kind of stuffs before." The girl huffed a breath when he didn't stop, only to worsen more

"I'm sorry! It's just too hilarious that you thought necklace is a collar." He snickered, eventually dying down his laughter when the girl was looking down, "Are you mad at me?"

"Isn't it obvious?!" The boy frowned at her satirical tone, she's always sarcastic but it's not the usual one, "Hey, I'm sorry if I upset you. Can I reconcile please?" He gave her the best puppy wants a treat look, "No."

"Aww, how cruel can you get? I'm here being a good boy and you're being a bad girl to me." Wearing a miffed expression, the girl hurriedly left the boy hanging after she finished her food and sauntered to God knows where

Without blinking, the boy is right beside her in an instance, "Why do you always walk away from me like that? Don't your legs get tired?"

"Why don't you find a needle and a thread to sewn your lips? Don't your tongue get tired?" She fired back and didn't even bother to spare him a glance, "Hey, you need to learn the concept of making friends. I'm being humble enough to teach you here."

Abruptly halting, she gazed at him, "Are you insinuating I'm boring to talk with?" His eyes glazed with fear upon noticing her form is slightly quivering in ablazing wrath, "I'm not saying anything like that. Don't assume things and blame it on me."
