Kurt gulped as he began to walk down the hallways. He didn't think he'd ever been this nervous. It had been a month and a half since his first day at William McKinley and now he was finally out of the closet. He had told his dad a couple of days ago, who was surprisingly okay with it and had told one of his closest friends, Mercedes, too. But he didn't know that when he was telling her, Becky Jackson, the school's biggest gossiper was right round the corner, listening in on their conversation. So, now, pretty much the whole school knew. Including Blaine. He didn't really care about what anyone else thought. But Blaine, god, Blaine mattered. They had become closer and closer over this last month and Blaine had even began to call Kurt his best friend. During this time, Kurt had fallen deeper and deeper in love with him to the point where any time he walked into a room, Kurt's heart skipped a beat. Blaine just had this strange effect on him and just really made him blush.

Even if they weren't dating, Kurt still really liked spending time with Blaine. And he had no idea how Blaine would react to this news. He had just texted Kurt last night, saying that they needed to talk and to meet him by his locker. Would he be angry? Would he think Kurt was trying to take advantage of him? Was he actually homophobic? Or maybe, just maybe could he be gay too? And could he feel the same way Kurt did? They were very loving with each other. They often held hands, sang flirty duets and hugged a lot. Blaine was always smiling at him and he even knew Kurt's coffee order. They had spent pretty much every second of this past month together and were just really comfortable and happy to be around each other. And this whole time, elaborate daydreams filled Kurt's head of what it would be like to kiss Blaine or cuddle with Blaine or tell Blaine how much he loved him. He spotted the boy standing at his locker and walked up to him.

"Hey." Kurt said, announcing his arrival. Blaine jumped and turned to face him. The first thing Kurt noticed was that Blaine looked absolutely terrified and very nervous.

"Hey." he returned, smiling softly. They grinned at each other for a few seconds before Kurt asked why Blaine had asked him to meet him here. "Oh, I just wanted to talk to you about...um...y'know-"

"Me being gay?" Kurt interrupted. Blaine nodded as he glanced at the floor. Suddenly, he grabbed Kurt's hand and their fingers intertwined. He looked back up to stare into Kurt's glasz eyes.

"I just really need to say something really important. And I'm not really sure how to but I'm gonna try and put it into words." he stammered.

"Kurt, there is a moment when you say to yourself......when you say.......I just, I think you're great and there's so many special moments. And I........I really like hanging out with you. And yeah, I guess I'll see you in French." he said, walking away, not even bothering to say goodbye. Kurt was left, feeling completely confused. Out of all of the scenarios he had running through his head, that was not one of them. What the hell just happened? What did Blaine even say? And why was he stuttering so much? He would try and talk to Blaine about it in French.

Kurt sat down in his seat next to Blaine and looked over at the other boy. His head was in his hands and he was avoiding Kurt's gaze. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked, feeling worried.

"I'm fine." Blaine snapped. Kurt raised an eyebrow.

"Well, you don't seem fine." he said sassily, rolling his eyes. Blaine glanced over and gave Kurt a look. They didn't speak for the rest of the class and the whole time Blaine's leg was bouncing up and down, making Kurt really annoyed. He also kept looking at him really weirdly. It was just strange and it made him feel upset. He can't believe him being gay was going to change their dynamic and ruin their friendship. After the class, Blaine ran out of the classroom, without even saying goodbye. Kurt's heart dropped into his stomach and it put him in a bad mood for the rest of the day. He tried to get Blaine to talk to him but it seemed like he was purposefully avoiding him. He slammed the door to his locker open. Today had just been an awful day. Little did he know that it was about to get a lot worse.  He noticed that there was a note in his locker with his name on it. Suddenly curious, he opened it.
