Landyn walked a little in front of me, holding the lower part of Duke's leash while I held the end of it.

"Duke's a good doggy. Moose and South try and run away" Landyn told me,

"That's because Duke's cooler" I smiled, "But don't tell Uncle Mike or Aunt Crys"

Landyn giggled and 'zipped' his lips.

When we got back to my house Landyn was in play mode. So we got his cars he brought out and set up a race track throughout the house with just about anything we could find. Now we were about to race,

"You goin' down," Landyn told me as we were on our knees, about to start the race,

"I don't think so" I played, "Okay, 3..2..1.. GO!"

We both took off, I, of course, stayed a little behind, letting Landyn ahead of me,

"Ha Ha I'm winning Calum!" Landyn teased, then stood on his feet and took off to the finish line,

"You little cheater" I laughed, getting to my feet and taking off to Landyn. I picked him up and started tickling him, his squeals and laughs filling the house,

"S-stop s-stop" Landyn started coughing. I immediately put him down,

"Are you okay?" I asked,

"Yeah. I was laughin' too hard" he yawned,

"Are you sleepy?" I questioned and he nodded, "How about we watch a movie and take a nap?"

Landyn nodded, so we cleaned up our race track, grabbed his baby blanket, and settled on the couch. He picked to watch Monsters Inc., so we put that on and I draped a bigger blanket over us and let Duke curl up too,

"Calum?" Landyn spoke lowly. I hummed to acknowledge him, "Do you like my mommy?"

He threw me off guard,

"Yeah. I do like your mommy" I answered,

"No like you wanna kiss her?" he sat up, "Uncle Mike says you wanna kiss Mommy"

I was gonna kill Mike,

"Yeah, Landyn. I do" I answered simply, "Is that okay with you?" I asked, needing to know that Landyn was okay with me and Maddie.

"It's okay. Mommy likes you too" he told me, "I heard her say to Aunt Crystal"

He was an observant three, almost four, year old,

"Don't hurt my mommy" Landyn was now sitting on my lap facing me, with the most serious facial expression, "Daddy hurt me and Mommy and I didn't like it"

"I can promise you, I will never hurt you or your mommy" I assured him. Landyn smiled then leaned forward and wrapped his arms around my neck and hugged me.

Landyn fell asleep maybe 20 minutes later in my lap, so I grabbed my phone to keep myself busy,

I rolled my eyes and started scrolling through Twitter, waiting for Landyn to wake up.

When Landyn woke up, we headed outside to play. We played with his cars for a while then he found the soccer ball in my garage and wanted to play,

"Ya know, I used to play soccer," I told him as I kicked the ball across my yard,

"Really!" Landyn smiled, "Cool" he giggled and kicked the ball back.

We played for a long time before Maddie pulled into the driveway. Landyn and I stopped as Maddie got out of the car smiling,

"Mommy!" Landyn ran to her, hugging her,

"Hi buddy. Did you have fun with Calum?" she asked, pushing his hair out of his face then looked up at me,

"Thank you" she hugged me before pulling back. Landyn coughed and Maddie and I looked down at him. He was standing with his arms crossed,

"What's up bud?" Maddie laughed, glancing at me,

"You didn't kiss Mommy Calum! You said and uncle Mike said you want to kiss Mommy" he stomped his foot.

Maddie and I both looked at each other with wide eyes. Maddie shrugged and I laughed, leaning forward and pecking her lips,

"Okay that's better" Landyn smiled then hopped into my arms, "Can I play with Duke?"

"Baby we have to go home. I think you've bothered Calum enough" Maddie laughed, but I stopped her,

"It's cool. Stay for dinner" I told her. She looked hesitant but then nodded.

Landyn went to my living room to play with Duke while Maddie and I went to the kitchen and I started to make dinner.

"So what's this about you and Mike telling Lanny that you wanted to kiss me?" I heard Maddie speak from her spot at the island. I knew she had a giant smirk on her face. I could feel it,

"Yeah, Landyn, he told me when we were watching a movie that Mike told him I wanted to kiss you. I asked him if it was okay with him and he told me yes" I shrugged, turning to glance at her. Maddie had a soft smile on her face,

"Landyn told me you like me too" I played. Maddie rolled her eyes and walked to me, her arms going around my waist as I cut vegetables,

"So I guess he's figured it out" she laughed. I nodded and let an arm go around her waist,

"So does this mean I can kiss you in front of others now?" I teased,

"I'm not opposed" she smirked back,

"Good" I kissed her, "Because I kinda like kissing you"
