My dear beloved wife,
I'm sorry it's been so long. Things have just been extremely busy over here. I come back to the barracks, exhausted, dirty, tired, and falling asleep while I'm walking. But as soon as I see the two pictures on my bunk, I have plenty of reason to go on. It is rough, but you are what gets me through the day. You, God, and our little bundle of joy. Have you found out if it's a boy or girl yet? Do you want to? I can't wait til this is over and I can hold you in my arms as I fall asleep, and wake up in the middle of the night to comfort our child. Always remember I love you and will continue to love you for eternity....
