Here are the main different types for face/base makeup :
*foundation brush :these have a tightly packed and tapered tip used for smooth application of foundation.

2 stippling brush : these have light and feathery ends compared to the base, it can be used for a base to get sheer light coverage.

*kabuki brush : these have a flat top and generous amount of bristles and can be used to apply powder, liquid or cream foundation.

* 5. Concealer brush : these generally have a small brush head, fluffy bristles and pointed tip, use it to apply concealer under the eyes and hide dark spots.
