The Dangers of loving Lucas

         I laid with my head on his chest ,I clung tightly to his side and all I could think was someday I'm going to wish for just one more day like this. I knew that there was no chance that this could last forever .In my heart I knew he would either grow tired of a weak human tagging along or I would meet my end during a night of bloodlust.
My thoughts are stirred when I hear a low rumble come from his chest.I look up to find his beautiful hazel eyes starring straight into mine ,he ran a hand through his coal black hair and placed a soft cool kiss on my forehead . "Where has your mind taken you Lana?" I was suddenly pulled out of my thoughts ,I shook my head as if trying to physically shake the thoughts from my mind. "Nothing at all Lucas just in a day dream"I lied ,It was more of a nightmare.
He shifted his body so that he was positioned over me cradling the back of my head in his hand.He leaned in for a soft kiss pressing his hips ever so gently against mine "if we are gonna make it to breakfast we need to get up"I said knowing that he would much rather continue what he was attempting to start. I wiggled myself away and stood to my feet "some of us have to eat food you know ".He leapt up on all fours and let a playful growl "sure you don't want to stay here " he said with a frisky tone to his voice as he straightened up to reveal his very notable excitement bulging from the grey sweats he wore.I smirked at him and the offer was enticing but I knew I had to eat to keep my strength up to prepare for payment to his father.
The only reason I was even allowed to stay and live with Lucas was by making an agreement with Lucas' father .His father ,Lord Hark the lord of the Cascade territories was never keen on the idea of his son loving a human .After some negotiations between the lord and Lucas it was decided that in order to stay I would allow the lord to drink from me once a week.My blood being the rarest of types AB negative was a tempting factor for the lord .
         "We can play later" I said turning my bare back to him in the most teasing way .I hated going to the dining hall but his father had insisted that if I were to live under his roof I would be expected to attend meals with Lucas.Every meal I was forced into an uncomfortable audience of eyes ,being the only human amongst a table vampires was awkward to say the least .They sat sipping on there glasses of liquid life as I was served ham and eggs .The servants,all humans as well bound with chains . They had all been captured during the time of the uprising when Vampires stopped hiding amongst the shadows and made themselves known to humans .Some would eye me with a look of jealousy and some with fear.I'm not sure why or how I had managed to fall for someone like Lucas but I knew for sure that I loved him with every ounce of my being .I loved him even though every part told me I shouldn't .
             Lord Hark spoke to the table with a gruff ruling tone .When he uttered the first word the table went completely silent and the servants scurried back through the metal kitchen doors. "Lucas you will bring Lana to me this afternoon for payment".Lucas slammed a hard fist down on the table in protest "it's been three days father, that wasn't the deal"Lucas squeezed my hand to try and ease the sudden fear that consumed my entire body.Lucas knew that as many times that I had delivered payment to his father in the last 4 year I still hated and dreaded every second .The ordeal was painful ,degrading and humiliating as Lord Harks always insisted I be in the nude.Lucas tried so many times to resist but being the ruler of territories meant his father had more power than imaginable.Lord Harks acted as if he hadn't heard Lucas and turned to the men sitting to his right and Spoke "I fully expect that the west gates have been repaired ".The men seeing the stern and frustrated look on Harks face quickly stood drank the last swallow in their glass  nodded and rushed out of the door.Lucas was not one to back down and spoke louder towards his father "you will honor our deal father or I " Hark shortened the distance between himself and Lucas and before Lucas could finish his sentence had him by the collar of his shirt.The lords eyes narrowed as he was inches from Lucas' face "or you'll what ?"his father spat ."You will bring me your little whore for payment or I will retrieve her myself and drain every ounce of her ."Lucas stood pulling me practically out of my seat storming towards the door his father laughing as we walked out into the hallway.
     In the hallway I yelled Lucas' name several times before he heard me "slow down "I gasped "you are dragging me " Lucas turned to me with the remaining fire of anger in his eyes ."How dare that ass think he can demand of me the way he does " he yelled as if hoping his father would hear .Shaking and terrified of the thought of making his fathers payment early I reached up and put my hand to his cold cheek "I'll be ok Lucas ".His eyes narrowed with anger "you don't know that ,each time is a gamble with your life I've got to find a way to get you out of all this ."I shook my head taking my hand from his face "you've tried my love there just isn't a way ".
    I took his hand and started walking toward our room "Come on I said teasingly don't we have something to finish anyways".The second our door shut I found myself  in his arms being carried toward the bed ."What exactly would you like to finish ,my love "he asked as he pressed his lips against mine nipping lightly at my bottom lip.He laid me down and pulled me toward him the heat and wetness grew immensely between my thighs .I longed for everything he was about to make my body feel.I reached up toward him and brushed a tuft of hair away from his face ,all traces of the remaining anger long gone ."Lucas "I couldn't control the gasp as he peppered light kisses down my neck and over my collar bone while circling the heat between my thighs with his fingers.My body ached and trembled as his mouth found my tight erect nipple while sliding a finger inside of me a moan left my quivering lips .I reach down to feel his excitement as he grew even larger in my hand ."Please"Is all I could manage to let escape before he plunged deep inside of me .I closed my eyes and the sensations coursed through my mind ,body and soul intensifying with every thrust.He leaned down to my neck fangs tickling the skin below my ear  ."I'm only gonna take a little ,baby "he whispered as he sunk his fangs into my neck and drew blood into his mouth .The fact that my blood satisfied him sent me tumbling off the edge into blissful orgasm .As I pulsed against him he pulled his face from my neck and let out a sigh of release as he poured his seed into me.We both lay beside each other catching our breathe .
             He had let go of his anger but I could see it slowly building back up.I glanced at the clock to find the time had flew by ,"almost lunch " I said afraid to bring up the topic of having to go face his father at another meal."We don't have to go ,Lucas"I said trying to relieve him .He snapped back instantly with "Yes  ,you do HAVE to go ,if that bastard is gonna take from you twice in a week you sure as hell can't skip a meal."
We headed down to the hall ,when we arrived in the dining hall it was buzzing with conversation .Lucas and I took our seats .Lucas began a mundane conversation with his brother who sat across the table .I could feel the anger and hatred form in Lucas as his father entered the room .I looked up at Lucas to find his eyes black with anger as he glared in his fathers direction.Lord Hark barely seemed to notice the hate that was being thrown his way .The servants hurried out to serve everyone.Lord Hark took a long drink from his glass and began his normal lunch time conversations .It still amazed me how everyone at the table clung to his every word .The woman at the table sat almost cooing at his every word .It wasn't hard to see why ,Lord Hark was a beautiful man despite the fact that he was a cruel man .His long sleek black hair hung down to his broad shoulders .His muscles well defined and clearly visible through the tight shirt he wore .His face was perfectly rugged with a scruff of a beard that hung at his chin. Lucas clearly took after his father ,I turned my attention towards Lucas as he swirled his finger at the rim of his glass.I stared wandering what he could possibly be thinking about .I reached under the table and gave his knee a little squeeze bringing him back to present time.He gave me a wink that sent a shiver of longing down my spine . "Are you done love ?"I nodded my head and finished the last bite of my sandwich .Just as we reached the door Harks voice halted us "don't forget Lana I will see you at 2pm on the dot ".His voice sent a painful tremble down my spine ,just his way of using his power to firmly remind me he was in control.Lucas never responded but I knew his fathers words angered him as his grasp tightened against my arm .
The next thing I knew I found myself in our room tightly wrapped in Lucas' embrace .He traced my jaw with soft kisses and held me tight ."I hate that we have to play my fathers vicious games" he said .I looked up in his eyes and whispered with an almost sobbing tone "me too I wish I could stay in your arms just like this forever ".
