Arranged Love: Juliana's Story - Chapter 18

“It’s about time Koran.” Rina said.

“Yeah yeah, I had to take care of business. Layla called with a few questions concerning work.” He said while giving me a side look. I wasn’t happy that Layla had called or that her name had been brought up or that the real reason she called most likely wasn’t work related.

“Why does that bi…ah witch still work for you? Rina said giving him a death glare. Ah this could be bad, Rina loves to pick a fight with Koran and that won’t make this situation any better.

“Because whether you like her or not she is still the best assistant and it’s a pain in the as…ah butt to find another as good at her job as she is.” He answered getting slightly angry I could hear it in his voice.

“He is looking for someone different so just drop it for right now Rina. Are you ready to go?” I said before Rina could say anything else and Koran got seriously mad.

Rina got out of the car after that and removed Dylan from his seat to see what he would do. Koran took him from Rina arms and he cried almost instantly. Rina was trying to hold back a laugh while I was fishing out my phone to take a picture. Koran’s face was priceless and reminded me of the first time he held Tina, he looked like he was going to break her and had acted like it too. Rina busted up laughing when I told her about that.

“I guess he’s coming with us. We’ll meet you at the park.” She said all the while trying to hold back her amusement. So was I for that matter.

“I love ya. Don’t feel too bad hun, Dylan has had a rough life compared to Miss Tina who is a total Dadai’s girl.” I said trying to not laugh as I handed him Tina.

“Thanks honey. I love you too.” He said slightly sarcastic since he knew I was trying not to laugh at him. I kinda felt guilty.

“Sorry Koran he’s been a mommy’s boy lately.” Rina said while putting Dylan back into his car seat. “And you guys make me sick with this lovey dovey crap.”

“Deal with is Rain. Soon you and Luc will be all lovey dovey too.” Koran said with a smirk as he kissed me on the cheek. “See you two at the park. Oh and Liana don’t go too crazy.” Geez one would think I was totally out of control or something and didn’t know how to control myself around people.

“See ya soon. Have fun and behave you two I don’t want to hear complaints from other parents like last week. Come on Rina let’s go have some fun!” I said after rolling my eyes at him.

Koran had ended up picking a fight with another kid’s parent last week over something about  and also he and Tina where a little too loud. Causing the parents to come complain to me about the entire scene. Not that I cared really it was the way they’ve been since Tina started walking and I was happy to see that she had a Dadai who like to play with her unlike so many other fathers who just sit on the sidelines.

“I’m not even going to ask about that one. Oh and shut up Koran.” Rina said through the window of the car as she backed out of the garage.

Some minutes later we were pulling up to Luc’s office. I was on the phone to Gabriel checking in on how Sadie was and making sure that Layla didn’t poison her.  When I get home I am diffidently having my head examined because there must be something wrong with me for leaving my dog with the guy who couldn’t take care of her last time and this time with his girlfriend who would most likely poison her to get at me for marrying Koran. Hadn’t shown her the ring yet so Sadie is hopefully safe. According to Gabriel she is fine but he would lie to me if only to save his own skin since I would skin him if Layla poisoned my dog. Rina had gotten Dylan from his seat and we were heading into the lobby.
