I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing it's Camila like always I answer the phone

I look up at my clock and I jump I didn't know I slept that long Gurl my bad my dad made me go to choir rehearsal and bible study yesterday

After she hung up I mentally rolled my eyes before I could close my eyes my dad busted in my room "Get up your coming to bible study with me today" as soon as he said that I put the acting classes to use
"Dad I'm not feeling to good" I say with tears in my eyes. He comes over to me and rubs my forehead "yea you are a little hot let me go get the thermometer" as soon as he ran to his room I flew to the bathroom I chugged hot water out the sink
I heard my door open again so I jumped in the bed "open your mouth" I open my mouth he put the thermometer in I prayed to god that it was high "oh wow 105.5 I'll let you stay home tonight let me go tell your mom and I'll make you some soup" he says walking out my room
I text Camila to let her know that the plan worked she texted back with a thumps up hopefully tonight goes well cuz if I get caught
