Slime

Rose was in a glass case. She had slime all over her.

"According to one of Engineer's books, this is Polus Ooze, or Polus Slime. It keeps items inside of it to make it more powerful. It lives in vents or any small system of connected tunnels. It probably got on after our trip to Polus a few days ago." Stoner said.

"Will she be ok?" Bday asked.

"She should be." Stoner replied.

Bday was relieved.

"Wait, what about Greaser? Is he gone too?" Veteran asked.

"Yeah, so is Ninja and Mother." Stoner told him.

"NOO!" Veteran and Bro cried.

"Wait, What? Bro?" Player asked.

"Me and Ninja were best friends!" Bro said.

"Ah, I see." Player said.

"So, what now?" Goober asked.

"We could try to get that Slime, darn tootin'." Sheriff said.

"Okay, I hate when you say "darn tootin", especially when it is in a sentence where it makes no sense, but this book says it will die if it doesn't have a surface to touch. We have to eject this thing, no surface to touch in the endless dark galaxy." Stoner said.

"Well, we have to move this case on Medscan so we can test Rose every now and then. You know, to make sure she's ok." Bday said.

Everyone pushed the case on the scanner.

"Bro, scan her. Come back to us with results." Stoner said. 

Everyone but Bro left to Cafeteria.

"Aw man, okay let's get this over with." Bro groaned.

He started the scanner.

Bro stood around to wait for it to finish.

He heard a squeak, like something coming out of a.......cage.....

Bro looked at Rose's case.

But Rose wasn't there.

In the cafeteria, everyone heard Bro scream. They all went back to Mebay.

"Get it off! Get it OFF!!" Bro screamed. He was covered in slime. Everyone managed to clean it off him.

"What happened?" Player asked.

"Well, that Rose was actually slime that looked like Rose.." Bro said.

"Well, that book said it can rarely take shape of another form." Stoner said.

"Thanks for the info, great timing." Bro said.

"Yeah, let's eject this goop." Gnome said.

They put the slime in the arilock, and it ejected. Without something to attach to, it disintegrated. 

"Wow, that looked sick." Veteran said.

"Yeah, but now what? We have nothing to go off of.." Stoner said.

"Are you sure? Because I still managed to get that scan." Bro said.

"Of the slime?" Player asked.

"Of course, what else would it be?" Bro replied.

"What does it say?" Stoner asked.

"It's weight, color, and what it's made out of." Bro replied.

"What is it made out of?" Stoner asked.

"Slime.....duh?" Bro replied

"So what do we do now?" Sheriff asked.

"Hmmm, maybe we should go to MIRA." Stoner said.

"Good idea. Let's do that." Gnome said.

"Gnome and Pirate Captain, go Chart the Course to MIRA." Stoner ordered.

"Aye-aye!" Pirate Captain replied.

Gnome managed to Chart Course without a problem. It was right before the two left when the vent shook. They opened it to take a closer look......

"Yeah, they're gone now too." Player said.

"Let's not leave the cafeteria anymore okay." Stoner said.

Everyone agreed that would be the best idea.

"BUT! Someone needs to get all the stuff we need so we can take it with us when we evacuate." Stoner sadly said.

Sheriff and Bro volunteered. They managed to get stuff from the rooms and toss it into cafeteria.

"Yo, Cowboy. Take a look at this." Bro said.

"Uh oh, a shaking vent ain't good news, darn tootin'." Sheriff said.

"Stop saying that." Bro told him.

The vent opened.

"Now them too? Okay, can we all stay here?" Stoner asked.

The cafeteria vent opened.

A green substance emerged from inside.
