I walked up to the familiar house that I once grew up in nothing but bad memories happened here everything still looked the same I could tell mama still kept up with the gardening
I made myself look a little decent because I already felt embarrassed I didn't want my son to see me like that I know he hates me because I failed him as a mother but I slept on it and I knew I had to get help so I can build a relationship with my son
I knocked on the door a few times and bit at my bottom lip picking at my finger nails
"Who the fuck knocking at this time-" the door swung open and there stood my mom my heart started racing I didn't know what to say
"Get on now I don't have no money for your bad habits" she told me about to close the door but I stopped it with my foot
"I want help please mom" I whimpered as tears poured from outta my eyes
She just stared at me with a look that I couldn't describe but then she opened the door wider so I could come in

"I know but um" I started digging in my fingernails "Amir came to visit me the other day" I wiped a few tears from under my eyes that had dropped
"I know he told me how you acted your ass was probably on that shit but look" she stood up going over to a cookie jar pulling out some money and my eyes bucked
"He's pissed with you but he wants you to get help so please Kim do it for yourself and him" she placed it in my hands while looking into my eyes .

"bitch where is my shit" Jay came storming into the livingroom and mookie looked up scared as fuck but I was use to this shit by now.

I didnt even realize I fell asleep when I heard the doorbell I quickly jumped up but soon regretted that because I was sore all over
I got up walking over to door opening it and kado stood there with Amir soon as he seen me he clenched his jaw
"Man watch out where that nigga at" he pushed passed me and I tried to grab him but he snatched away
"Kado it's fine"I whispered following him around

He jogged upstairs and busted through the master bedroom where jay was getting high
"Who the fuck-" before he could even finish kado ran over to him and started punching him dead in his face and I stood back holding Amir
"You puss ass nígga" kado stomped him on his head
"Ok that's enough !" I put Amir down grabbing kado and he kicked him one last time before taking Amir with him

His mama scoffed and I looked over at her
"She's over feeding him and then it's not good to kiss him in the face" she started and I rolled my eyes and sighed real loudly
"Girl when u going home cause dâmn" I stood up about to go to the back but Nasir stopped me
