I wake up weirdly disoriented. Definitely not in the same position I remember being in when I knocked out— blanket on the floor, phone thrown messily on the nightstand. I huff a breath, adjusting to the light, and the severity of my disheveled room.

I grab my phone from the nightstand almost knocking over my monster cans in the process.
