Mommy(Delilah) Pov:
Noah was currently throwing a tantrum in the car because my friend was currently on her way to the hospital she was having a baby and she wanted me to be there since her boyfriend left her because he wasn't ready for a baby
So I asked my parents to watch him for the night and I'd be back to pick him up tomorrow afternoon, " no leave me mama pease " he did kicking and crying as I tried to call him down
" please puppy I'm sorry it's just for tonight and I'll come pick you up tomorrow morning and we can go to where ever you want
" NOO I no want mama to go " he said crying louder as we pulled into my parents drive way
" come on puppy " I said as he refused to let me pick him up out the car
" Noah just for tonight " I said as I finally got him out the car
" no go no go no go pease " he cried holding on tight to me as I knocked on the door and my dad opened it
" hey buddy how about we go play with some legos wouldnt that be fun " my dad said trying to take him from me but he only held on tighter kicking his feet and crying
" no stay with you papa " he said as I gave my dad a soft smile taking him inside to the living room where my mom was
" awe Noah come here " my mom said as he shook his head
" Noah look you gotta let go and just listen to me can you do that " I asked as he nodded and slowly let go leaning into me
" look mommy has to go see Aunt Emily remember she has a baby in her belly " I said as he looked at me " auntie emmi baby " he said as I nodded
" well the baby is coming and she needs mommy's help, so I have to go help her and you can stay here with nana and papa and you can even stay up passed bedtime if you want " I said as he perked up and smiled a bit
" nana and papa also have very delicious sweets that we can't eat all by ourselves we need a helper " my dad said as Noah jumped on his knees turning around facing my dad
" I be helper papa " he said giggling
" then no more tears " he said as Noah nodded wiping his tears
" tears all gone " Noah said giggling
" alright mommy has to go now and I promise I'll be back tomorrow and we can go where ever you'd like " I said as he pouted but nodded hugging me
" I love you very much " I said as he pecked my lips twice " love mama to " he said giggling as I got up and thanked my parents waving bye
So once I got to the hospital I asked for Emily's room and said she was soon about to deliver so I quickly rushed in her room and saw her on her bed
" I'm here I'm here " I said going straight to her side
" where's Noah, you didn't leave him alone did you " she said trying to breathe
" of course not he's with my parents but let's focus on you " I told her as she nodded
A long 3 hours later and she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Maya
" finally the pain is over " Emily cried and laughed at the same time
" she's beautiful just like you " I said holding the baby rocking her slowly back and forth
" when do you think they will let you go home " I asked as she shrugged " don't know hopefully soon, thanks for being here with me " she said as I put the baby down in her little bed and laid next to Emily kissing her forehead
" I wouldn't have missed it for the world, whenever you need me I'll always be there " I said as she smiled and nodded
" now go to sleep I'll be here when you wake up don't worry " I said as I wiped her forehead and got her comfortable.
A little while later my mom called to tell me Noah had fell asleep I thanked them and told them that Emily had a girl nice and healthy and everything was alright
I hung up and told them I'd call when I was on my way and I made a little bed with the hospital chairs
falling asleep
I then woke up to my phone ringing but when I check it wasn't mine it was Emily's, it was her ex boyfriends mother so I answered it and she was saying that Emily's ex died from drinking and driving so I was really thinking of how to tell her this
I told his mom that I'd tell Emily as soon as she woke up and I went back to bed.
I then woke up to Emily shaking my shoulder saying that the hospital was letting her leave and she had everything ready to go and the baby in the car seat.
Before we left I had her sit down before I told her that her ex died and to my surprise she wasn't that sad or anything she thought of it as karma still letting a few tears drop
" he's cheated on me before and I gave him chances he's hurt me physically and emotional and he walked out on me when I needed him the most, " she said wiping her tears wanting to forget about him forever
So once we got the baby buckled in the car seat we drove to my parents and I called them to get Noah ready
" ya know you can stay at my house for a few and after we pick up Noah we can go to your house and get you and the baby clothes from there and I have an extra room for you and you can have it for you and your baby so whenever you need me or a place to stay your always welcome " I said as she broke down crying thanking me for everything as I told her it was alright and everything would be alright she had nothing to worry about.
Once we got to my parents we walked in the living room and saw Noah sitting on the floor coloring
" hey puppy " I said as he perked up and turned around
" MOMMY " he said crashing into my arms as I smiled and pecked his lips
" I missed you " I said as he giggled
" I missed you to " He said kissing my lips once more time blushing
when he turned back to his coloring space Emily was there with the baby
" hi auntie emmi " he said sitting down next to her and putting his head on her arm
" hey Noah " she said hugging him as he smiled
" wanna see baby " he said happily as Emily took Maya out the car seat and held her so that Noah could look her her
" mama wook da baby is tiny " he said quietly and cutely as we nodded
He then gently touched her hands and kissed her forehead gently and moved back. We were all surprised how gentle he was with the baby because he's usually hyper and rough but he was quiet and soft and calm
" pretty baby " he said giggling as I sat next to him and sat him on my lap
" what baby name " Noah said looking at maya in awe
" maya, she's also your new baby cousin " Emily said as Noah gasped and smiled
" yay I be a good big cousin " he said as I hugged him he was being so quiet and calm
After everybody got a chance to hold maya except for Noah because he was to scared,
we went back to Emily's house to grab 2-5 bags of clothes for her and the baby and the babies travel crib and we all went back to my house
Once we got there Noah went straight to the kitchen to grab a popsicle and sit on the couch watching tv while I helped Emily set up with the baby
