"Shut up! I would so love it if you left my love life alone," Bea said and she turned to him, a stern look on her face. But she couldn't stay like that because they both burst out laughing.

"Sweetie, Dusty, please, Tews is having a nightmare," their mum said, walking out and the two siblings nodded before their mum walked away.

THEIR MUM DROVE THEM TO THE
school, but not before taking hundred of pictures of Bea in her cap and gown.

When they arrived, Bea saw Steve and ran over to him and they kissed in a scene that looked like it was pulled right out of a sappy rom com.

They pulled away and smiled at each other before Bea turned and saw her best friend.

"One sec Steve," she said and he smiled supportively before watching her walk over to Jonathan and hug him.

"Hey Bea, you ready," he said and they both laughed at the stupid cap and gowns that they were dressed in.

"Of course Jonathan, is Nancy getting here later?" she asked and Jonathan nodded. Since Nancy wasn't graduating she didn't arrive until later.

After the ceremony Bea hugged El before turning to Hopper.

"Now you're ready to join me and the boys at the station," Hopper said and Bea laughed, her hand grasping Steve's tightly.

"Yeah, but remember chief, real work starts after Summer,' she said and he laughed before hugging the girl.

"I'm so proud of you," he said and she smiled, about to say something when she heard her dad call her name.

"See you later Hop, you too El," she said before walking off with Steve.

They walked over to her dad and Steve shook his hand.

"Nice to see you again sir," Steve said and Bea smiled.

"I always told you he was a gentleman," her dad whispered so that Steve couldn't hear but he obviously could and the three started laughing.

"I'm so proud of my little baby Beatrice, you want to see Baby pictures?" He asked Steve and she tried to protest.

Luckily, she was saved by Mr Clarke who congratulates her before talking to her dad. They knew each other from when Bea did AV Club.

Steve's parents walked over and Bea smiled at them. She noticed how Steve tensed up so she ran the pad of her thumb over his knuckles, trying to calm him down.

"It's lovely to see you Mr Harrington, Mrs Harrington," Bea said and his mum smiled at her.

"Its lovely to see you again Beatrice, you really must come round for dinner some time," she said and Bea smiled at her, trying not to visibly cringe at the use of her full name

"That would be lovely Mrs Harrington," she said.

"What are you going to do after school Beatrice?" Steves dad asked and Bea smiled at him, gently squeezing Steve's hand as she felt him tense up again.

"I have an internship at Hawkins Police Station, I start officially after Summer," she explained and Steve's dad had a huge grin on his face.

"That's a lovely job, very ambitious, unlike my son here," He said and the sour undertone of the sentence did not go unknown to Bea.

Nobody knew what to say but luckily Joyce walked up to them at just the right moment.

"Sorry Bea, am I interrupting something?" Joyce asked and Steve let out a sigh of relief.

Bea shook her head.

"No, no, no. I'll see later Mr and Mrs Harrington," Bea said and they waved before walking off. "You saved me, thanks," she said and she noticed Steve had started talking to one of their science teachers.

She smiled to herself and Joyce noticed.

"You two are so smitten," she said and Bea laughed.

"I know, I just love him," she said and they both looked at each other sadly as they remembered Bob. "I still miss him," she said and Joyce gave her a half-hearted smile.

"Me too sweetie, me too," she said.

Before the conversation could get any more sad or slightly uncomfortable Will walked over and Bea hugged him.

"Hey Peanut!" She exclaimed and he laughed.

"Congrats Bea," he said and she laughed.

"Thanks, hey wheres Jonathan?" She asked and they looked around to see him and Nancy kissing in the corner.

"Ahh," Bea said and the two girls laughed.

"I should get going, Steve looks like he needs saving from Mr Kaminsky," she said, hugging Joyce before walking over to Steve.

Hiya,

I would like to say that I'm not American and I have not graduated from school and I was not around in the 80s to know what their graduations were like. This means that everything in this chapter was basically made up fluff. Also, I'm not sure if Jonathan is the same age as them but I've done that for the last two seasons so we will roll with that.   Hope you enjoyed because next is Season 3!
