RWBY: Corrupted Save File

Part #15. The Informant.

Saffron facepalmed and held up his index finger before leaving the room.

Ruby hopped off of the bed and landed in front of Weiss, who was sitting on her bed below Ruby's.

Weiss: "I'm glad to see that we are taking this so seriously." She said sarcastically.

Yang: "Hey! We've got a plan. That's... moderately serious." She pointed out.

Saffron walked back into the room wearing a new outfit. He wore a dark teal t-shirt underneath his White Fang chestpiece, over the shirt and armor, he wore an unzipped black hoodie with a yellow interior and yellow stitching along the side of the sleeves, the end of his cuffs, and along the back of the hood. He wore very dark blue jeans and a pair of familiar black sneakers with small silver claws with red tips. The shoes had silver toecaps and a red sole, the heels were silver as well, and had small claw-like spikes on the inside side of the shoes. Saffron had removed from foot guards from a pair of White Fang boots, and had added them to his legs.

Saffron would've personalized the armor a bit more, but he was in a bit of a rush.

Saffron: "Okay, is this good for stealthy stuff?" He asked.

Yang: "Lookin' good!" She gave him a thumbs up.

Saffron: "...Okay, but do you think this would be good for sneaking around?" He repeated his question.

Blake: "You're fine." She stated.

Ruby: "Right, everyone remember their roles?" She asked.

Weiss: "You and I will head to the CCT and check the Schnee records for any other Dust robberies, or inconsistencies. Seeing as I'm in the family, it shouldn't be a problem." She said.

Blake: "The White Fang has regular faction meetings to hand out orders and recruit new members. If I can get in, I can hopefully find out what they're planning." She stated.

Yang: "I have an old friend on the shady side of town that typically knows everything going on in Vale. Getting information out of him shouldn't be too hard." She said.

Ruby: "Great, we'll meet up tonight near Yang to go over what we've found." She stated.

Ruby: "Let's do this!" She pumped her arm.

Sun: "Yeah!" He said from the window.

Saffron: "Oh, hey Sun." He waved to the monkey Faunus.

Blake: "Sun!" She shouted as Team RWBY all took a step back.

Sun was hanging from the ledge outside by his tail. He had his arms crossed and was wearing his usual outfit, a short-sleeves button-up shirt that was left completely open, a pair of jeans with bandages wrapped around his shins, yellow and black sneakers, and red wrist bracers over black fingerless gloves.

Yang: "How did you even get up here?" She asked.

Sun: "Ah, it's easy. I do it all the time." He stated.

Saffron: "Cool." He said.

Weiss: "You do what?!" She yelled.

Sun: "I climb trees all the time!" He said in a slightly high-pitched voice.

Weiss glared at Sun as he swung inside and landed on his feet.

Sun: "So... are we finally getting back at that Torchwick guy?" He asked.

Blake: "We, are going to investigate the situation. As a team." She said, gesturing to her team... and Saffron.

Ruby: "Sorry Sun, we don't want to get friends involved if we don't have to." She stated.
