Chapter 2-The Interview

Addison POV:

I walked into the studio to find Dixie. She would be running the interview for her early-late talk show. It is crazy that a series on youtube made it this big. But, I couldn't be any happier for her.  I knew that if I were ever to do an interview about where I have been these last couple of years, it would be with someone I trust. Of course, that would be Dixie. She and Noah had been one set of the godparents for the twins. Plus, it would always be dixison before anything else.  

D: Hey love, I am so happy you're here and on time. I have a wardrobe and hair and makeup in your room to get ready. I didn't get any extra room for Tayler since he generally stays with you. But, there's snacks and drinks there. Please try to be ready in 2 hours.

A: Of course, Dix, and thank you so much for doing this. You know I trust you the most. Plus, I know you will know what questions to ask.

D: Addi, I have to warn you I am going to ask about Bryce. It's a question the fans will want to be answered. You disappeared from social media, and he disappeared from Los Angelos its something we will have to speak about.

A: I know, and I am prepared for that. So thanks for the heads up.

I went into my dressing room and then I notice a box of flowers. It was lilac, my favorite color. I turned to Tayler, thanking him. He knew how on edge I have been about getting back into social media and becoming an influencer. He had also been the one to calm me down, and I couldn't be more thankful for that. Addison had gotten ready and was now finished with her look.

The Interview

D: Hey guys, I'm Dixie D'Amelio, your host for the early-late talk show, and today we have a very special guest. This is someone who has been out of the limelight for the past three years. So please help me welcome Addison Rae.

Addison walks out and waves.

A: Hey yall 

D: So, Addison, I am pretty sure the fans have all been wondering where you've been. I have seen you a lot within these three years, but the world has not.

A: I actually took a little break from social media and my career because some things happened in which needed more of my attention.

D: And what were those things, If I may ask?

A: I became pregnant out of nowhere. I was safe, and sometimes hiccups happen. When I found out I was pregnant, I decided to take a break. It sucked because I was getting to the height of my career, and I had so much planned. Unfortunately, I knew that my career wouldn't be the best for me due to the world. The negative comments were very overwhelming, and stress wouldn't have been good for one baby. I later found out that there were two babies in my stomach.

D: How did you feel when you found out about your pregnancy?

A: I was scared. Honestly, I was only twenty years old. I had a solid income, but I was scared of how the world was going to react—my parents, the father,  and how I would be as a mom. At the end of the day, I just wanted to do what would be best for my kids.

D: That's amazing, Addison, so how old are your babies?

A: Brielle and Beckham are about two years old. They are the sweetest twins ever. And Dixie and Noah are actually their godparents. 

D: Yes, we are. It is a secret that has been so hard to keep since the twins are so adorable, but it's definitely been worth it. Now I hate to ask this, Addison, but the fans have been anticipating your arrival back to the world, as you know. They want to know what happened to you and Bryce Hall.

A: Bryce and I were a very complicated relationship, as everyone knows. There were many times we would be on, but also times we would be off. Before I took my break from social media or even knew I was pregnant, about two months before, Bryce and I broke up. He then moved and hasn't contacted me since. So we don't have contact with one another.

Tayler had been standing in the back. Watching the whole interview, he knew Dixie had wanted to ask if the twins were Bryce's, but also knew that would stirrup a whole bunch of drama. He had just wanted the interview to go smoothly.

D: So Addison, beside me, has there been anyone you keep up with from before.

A: I actually keep up with Tayler. We had always been best friends. When I became pregnant, he moved in with me to help me. He is definitely my biggest support system. I am incredibly thankful for him—more than he knows or will ever know.

D: Okay, we are running out of time, Addison, so I will ask you one last question. What is next for Addison Rae.

A: I have a lot of projects that are coming up. I can only talk about one. I will have a makeup line coming out soon. I am a co-founder of this company and have been working on it for the past year.

D: There, you guys have it. Addison Rae is back and in full go mode. I hope that you guys enjoyed this interview. I am your host Dixie, and I'll see you next week with another guest bye guys.

End Of Interview

Addison POV:

I walked back inside my dressing room to sit down and process things before leaving. Dixie had just come into the room. Look, thank you so much, Dixie, for not asking if the twins were Bryce's. I know if I had been a regular guest, that question would have been next.

"Your welcome, Addi, but I hope you know the fans are gonna wonder. And they're gonna start thinking that Brielle and Beckham are either Taylers or Bryce. I just hope you are ready for this."

"I am never ready, but as long as I can keep Brielle and Beckham out the spotlight, that all that matters. I have to get going, but I'll see you and Noah Sunday for dinner, right?"

"Of course, we wouldn't miss it." Dixie then left the room

Tayler grabbed Addison's bag, and they began to walk to the car. Tayler had hopped into the driver seat and began to drive home. When they got home, they quickly took showers and got ready. While Addison was doing her and makeup, Tayler walked into the room.

T: I am proud of you, Addi. You were brave. You didn't shed a tear, but you were also honest.

A: I mean, I had to. I was already keeping a secret from Bryce. I am sure he would be angry watching the interview tomorrow. 

T: No, no, I am not going to allow you to sit up here and feel bad because Bryce left and cut off contact with you. You tried calling him in the beginning. He's the one who changed his number and never looked back. He can't be mad for him leaving. It's not fair to you.

Tayler then got up and kissed Addison. To his surprise, she kissed him back. Tayler grabbed her hand, and they left to go to dinner.
