We turn our heads to the voice

The women maybe in her 60's turned away and walked out of the door
Sissy: I'm sorry, am I dreaming or did that happen? Mattia: that uh happened....

Mattia: okay I know we used to go to that spot back home in Jersey but when I would come to Italy I would go to this spot to think. So I brought you here.
I opened my eyes and I looked around.
Sissy: oh wow. Mattia: ik
We were on the edge of a cliff but you could see the lake, and the bright sun beaming down on it. It was a sight.
Mattia sat down on the edge and patted the seat next to him so I could sit down.
I sat down and I put my head in his lap looking up at him. Wishing that I was the one he was getting married to. Wishing I was the one he loved. And held for.
We stared at each other. Wanting more. Waiting for each other. But that won't happen.
I'm in love with someone who's in love with someone else. I have been for 2 years already.
Sissy: Mattia Mattia: hmm?
I wanted to tell him, that I loved him. That I would kill for him. Just to love me back.....
But I couldn't. Not when he was getting married.
Sissy: never mind Mattia: should we go back? Sissy: yea let's go
